If you want to breathe in the air of times gone by, eat like you used to, and spend like you haven't in years, this is the place to be. The exquisite courtesy of the wait staff made the atmosphere even more pleasant. We'll be back.

I give 4 pk they are one thing the food is very good also the restaurant very good but it is not possible that the closing day is Friday where people can have fun after a week of work and it stays open on Monday when there are almost no people because they work but come on

At Piatto D'Oro... I devour everything! And they were right. A true trattoria, the kind they don't make anymore. I entered and was greeted by the framed poem on the wall, which is its mission statement: here, you eat seriously. Located at Via del Chiascio, 76 in Branca (PG), the restaurant boasts simple 1970s-style decor, but immaculately clean and well-kept, with a white damask tablecloth just like in the old days. The atmosphere is what guides describe as a blast from the past. I had the grilled second course—a perfectly cooked grilled cockerel/chicken: super-crispy skin, beautifully charred from the live embers, juicy inside with a lemon wedge. A side of large, fragrant beefsteak tomatoes, just oil and salt. No frills, honest produce. Family-run service, with the longtime owner wandering among the tables and taking your order while sitting with you—a charismatic figure that alone is worth the visit. It's clear why the main courses are their forte: well-seasoned and carefully cooked. The price is very fair. The quality-price ratio is truly their strong point. Traditional Italian cuisine done well, without fuss. I'll be back.

A local's recommendation. A restaurant where you can enjoy lunch with local specialties, especially the delicious tagliatelle with truffles. The fried lamb chops are also very good...really good. Highly recommended, also for the quality/price ratio.

The atmosphere is simple but the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Dinner The mixed grill arrived lukewarm, to say the least. The roast potatoes were reheated and stale. At least for lunch. What a shame.
