03/11/2024: Place in a quiet and cozy location just outside the main squares. Inside it appears a little confusing, with a modern, almost circus-like style, with combinations of historic wooden furniture and bright curtains. Overall you can see the desire to be elegant, I would aim for that. As a first course, two tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, good, slightly watery and not too tasty. Maybe I would use some porcini mushrooms and review the balance between the flavors to give the dish a little boost. Like a second Florentine steak, matured for 70 days, perfectly cooked: rare but not cold. Tasty and tender, slightly orange fat, really good. Baked potatoes truly to remember, light and fragrant, not heavy, crunchy. The manager is a truly capable and attentive person who transmits passion. Service of the Fiorentina cut at the table performed very well. In essence, a place with great potential, if you fix something it can be at the top.

05/01/2025: An unforgettable experience every time! I have been to this restaurant four times, and each time it has been simply fantastic. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, perfect for savoring true Tuscan cuisine. Each dish is a celebration of the flavors of the area: from typical cured meats to first courses of homemade pasta, up to succulent meats cooked to perfection. The staff is always kind, attentive and ready to make the experience special. The view is breathtaking and adds that extra touch. I can't wait to return once again. It's the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Tuscany with every bite. Highly recommended!

14/12/2024: Very nice environment, kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent service, we took a 350g fillet cooked blue, perfect. If you want to be picky, the black plate does not highlight the beauty of the food, with a light plate it would have been a starred experience.

31/12/2024: After trying many restaurants in Florence, we finally found a gem at Ristorante Fuoriluogo. The food here stands out from the rest. We ordered the prosciutto and cheese cutting board along with San Gimignano wine, and every bite was a delight. The cutting board was incredibly fresh—the lardo, in particular, was a standout, melting in the mouth like buttery soft salmon. While it may not look like much at first glance, the portion was surprisingly filling, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. To top it off, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for exceptional food in San Gimignano!

05/01/2025: Everything was excellent: location, environment, courtesy of the staff and quality of the food. A place just outside the walls of the wonderful medieval town of San Gimignano, where part of my heart has resided for years. We took a Trovatore pizza, with truffle and sausage, excellent ingredients, digestible and tasty, made properly, on a wood-fired oven. We saw incredible dishes pass by, from top Chianina and Florentine restaurants, so we will be back. I understand why Dante's circle of gluttons was crowded... And let's go back... last break... top of the taste... life must be lived... always and in any case!
