02/11/2025: Very welcoming place, friendly and professional staff

01/11/2025: We booked the restaurant and had high expectations. For starters, we ordered the famous egg (we asked for one to share between two people, and they brought it already separated into two plates, which we loved!!), but we didn't think it was anything special. For the main course, we had the two gnocchi with truffle, but we found them lacking in truffle flavor and salt. Unfortunately, we left a little disappointed because we didn't like it very much, and the prices are high. On the day, we wanted to sit in the outdoor area, but they said it wasn't open, which was a shame. Excellent service!

09/10/2025: A wonderful experience, halfway between a journey to discover new flavors, thanks to the chef's Albanian origins, and a nonconformist encounter with Tuscan tradition. A special mention also goes to the attentive and welcoming dining room staff; laughter is the key to well-being for those who work there and those who want to spend an evening with a difference. Last but not least, the great professionalism and care of all the chefs, who willingly come out of the kitchen to share the story behind a dish, conveys only positive emotions. When you work in the industry and find a place this beautiful, it deserves praise, because quality cannot be taken for granted. Congratulations to all the staff! We will definitely be back. 03/10/2025: marvellous experience. we’ve chosen the à la carte option with some extra’s. couldn’t expect how much we would be surprised by small bits of edible kindnesses and undescribable tiny flavourexplosions. certainly a spot to remember with awe (for us) and to recommend highly (for you who doesn’t know whether to step into or not). enjoy!

04/11/2025: Located just outside the walls of San Gimignano, this restaurant was a real surprise. Friendliness was top-notch. A very charming, intimate place, with limited seating but excellent food. We had excellent pizzas for dinner, well-seasoned, tasty, and easy to digest. The desserts were also delicious. For a tourist visiting San Gimignano who wants to eat well, I recommend a stop at this restaurant.

09/11/2025: Meat specialty restaurant (don't look for starters!), a wide selection of local and international meats, dinner featuring a shared appetizer, followed by two fillets (perfectly rare) and dessert, and a wide selection of wines. Difficult to book because the phone doesn't answer very often.

14/10/2025: As soon as l entered I knew I made the perfect choice! Among a mix of locals and tourists, I was greeted warmly by Luca & Massimo, seated immediately, and presented with a glass of sparkling wine as l looked at the menu. The wild boar stew (expertly paired with a glass of wine chosen by Luca) was DELICIOUS!! I was too full for dessert but the table next to me was thoroughly enjoying every dessert available. The space is beautiful as well, with interesting history, like much of San Gimignano. Highly recommend a visit, and I can't wait to return! Buon appetito!

07/11/2025: Loved our dinner here. We tried several items on the menu and each one was delicious. Great service and kind staff. They gave us some delicious recommendations and we were not disappointed. The restaurant inside seating is comfortable and not cramped. Give it a try!

27/10/2025: The food was tasteless and poorly presented. I've never had such bad lasagna. Also, the white bread was uneatable—hard and tasteless. The pizza was about 4 centimeters thick—presumably meant to be American in pizza-loving Italy. You can get good food elsewhere.

01/11/2025: We spent three days in Tuscany and came to eat here three times (my pick was tartare). My friend has many allergies and the chef took all her requests very seriously. No eye rolling or rude responses. The food is very good, but what made us return is the friendliness, good sense of humour and kindness of people who work in this place. For everyone, who writes nasty reviews, I want to suggest shift the focus a bit and appreciate the beauty of the work that is done in this restaurant.

08/08/2025: If you are looking for authenticity with fresh and delicious products: LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Sandwiches with ingredients cut in front of you...nothing better. All of Italy gathered in this place. Our waiter kind and helpful. 👍👍👍

21/07/2025: The products here are great, high quality and worth trying, which earns this place an extra star. But the service was a letdown. We were just two people, and it felt like we weren’t worth the staff’s time. Before us, larger groups were getting enthusiastic recommendations, explanations, and genuinely warm service. When it was our turn, the atmosphere shifted completely. No suggestions, no effort, just a cold, dismissive interaction that made us feel unwelcome. If you’re not part of a big crowd or don't look snobby enough, don’t expect the same treatment.

So good we returned two days in a row....in addition to serving exquisite dishes, my wife, I, and our little dog were greeted warmly and courteously by the owner and all the staff. 12/11/2025: I highly recommend it. Francesca is lovely and always attentive. The breakfast is generous and delicious, with many fresh, homemade products. She gives us great tips for sightseeing. The location is ideal, a 5-minute walk from San Geminiano. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and peaceful.

20/09/2025: Everything was excellent and there was passion in presenting the dishes and wines.

10/09/2025: Impeccable service, I was served by a young man who explained every single dish to me. The tagliata was exceptional; I wasn't asked how it was cooked, and I must say, thank goodness for that! PERFECT cooking and superb quality. For the appetizer, I found all the cured meats delicious, and I tasted the best prosciutto I've ever tasted! Highly recommended.

11/11/2025: We gifted our aunt and uncle a weekend in this magical place for their 50th wedding anniversary, a journey of emotions, sensations, and immense happiness. They returned enthusiastic about their experience, describing how perfect everything was: the tasting dinner, with a selection of their best wines paired with typical Tuscan dishes, followed by lunch the next day with more excellent tastings, the wonderful room, all surrounded by lush nature and tours of the estate. We thank you for making our gift special.

10/11/2025: Absolutely magical experience! We did the truffle hunting tour and it was spectacular. The staff was very kind and attentive, not to mention how incredible the food and wine were. We look forward to coming back - 10/10 recommend!
