10/08/2024: I found myself in this little restaurant by chance and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The refined environment and the very kind and hospitable waiters made me feel at ease straight away. The dishes are beautiful and tasty, personally I really enjoyed the first courses.

10/08/2024: Restaurant to absolutely go to eat!! The places are certainly small, but there is a warm atmosphere that I really like, plus I find the decor very nice. I ordered truffle pasta which was delicious. The meal and the service are TOP (to add that the panorama is magnificent). In short, GO FOR IT!!!

Starting from the impeccable service, with special attention to detail and the customer's well-being, to the administration of the dishes, well plated as well as sublime. Considerable prices but absolutely in line with the very high quality of the meat. We opted for a starter of Kobe Wagyū meat, a Chianina fillet with Josper sauce, a 1.3 kg Fiorentina, a truffle-flavoured purée, an apple tart with maple syrup and ice cream and a saffron mousse with liquorice inserts and a chocolate crumble. If you happen to hang out in the splendid San Gimignano, consider the stop at Ceppo Toscano obligatory.

31/07/2024: Als je snel snel wil lunchen moet je dat niet hier doen, maar als je de meest authentieke en gepasioneerde ervaring wil meemaken moet je hier zeker heen gaan!! De eigenaar doet er alles aan om er een ervaring van te maken, hij bereid alles zorgvuldig zelf voor en geeft bij ieder stukje vlees en kaas een uitleg en unieke tips. Hiervoor doet hij zijn uiterste best. Je ziet dat hij dit met alle liefde en passie doet. Dit was echt onze mooiste ervaring in San Gimignano die we voor geen goud wilde missen! Dus ga zitten (wel beperkt plek maar wacht eventueel buiten even tot er iets vrij komt) bestel de vlees en kaas plank, en ga achterover zitten met een wijntje en geniet van deze ervaring!! Een echte aanrader.

11/07/2024: Inconditionnels de la Toscane depuis plusieurs décennies, nous avons découvert ce restaurant en sortant de San Giminiano intra muros. L'extérieur du restaurant ne porte pas à un commentaire particulier. Passé la porte l'ambiance est chaleureuse et l'endroit est dans le style Toscan d'époque. Passons aux plats , en entrée un carpacio de veau à la trufe et fumé au romarain :perfeto. Puis des pates fraiches fourrés à la sauce carbonara, vraiment un sans faute en terme d'équibre, d'assaisonnement et de cuisson de la pasta. En dessert un Vin Santo et des cantuccini frais classiques aux amandes et d'autres au chocolat et bien sûr le tiramisu de l'établissement. Un multo multo Multo bueno. Parlons vin, nous avons choisi un vino rosso Filipo de chez Paradiso élaboré par un artiste : Davide. Du bonheur , que du bonheur. Toute l'équipe du Fuoriluogo est à votre écoute dans uns ambiance très cool mais néanmoins professionnelle. Une sitation de la série française Kamelott me vient à l'esprit : ce n'est pas de la gastronomie mais de l'héritisme, mille excuses pour les lecteurs sensibles. Un grand merci pour ce bon moment passé dans cet établissement.

07/07/2024: Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and owner. The open kitchen is synonymous with cleanliness and quality. The best Tuscan platter I've ever eaten. The divine flesh. To be passed with full marks. We thank Noemi for the double splash of gin and Mauro for offering us an excellent amaro from the artist!

20/08/2024: I stayed here for a couple nights and it was such a great stay overall. The building/rooms are nice and clean, the pool and outdoor space is like a resort, they have a free shuttle to San Gimignano, and the included breakfast was delicious with so many great options to choose from. However, given the price of the stay it seems incredibly cheap that they turn off the air conditioning during the day and the only way to turn it back on is to pay €15 per HOUR. At one point our room was at 29°, which is just unbearable. In the evening they turn the AC back on and let it run overnight until the morning, but good luck if you need to work or relax in your room during the day.

16/08/2024: Authentic and homemade pasta. The best pasta I have ever tasted. 10/10. And it has air conditioning!

16/08/2024: A wonderful Tuscan meal, what a surprise in such a touristy place! We ordered papardelle with truffle, pici with wild boar, pico with black cabbage and onion and pici with saffron and leeks, delicious authentic Tuscan cuisine and great service, very attentive to everything. I found homemade pannacotta with strawberries, it couldn't be better! And with air conditioning, something that is scarce despite the 35º temperatures in August.

11/08/2024: This is where I had the best meal during my holiday. Delicious lasanga, tasty cuts of meat, original recipes and great desserts. Staff is very nice and there is fast service. If you want an evening of luxurious food for a good price, I recommend dining here!😊

13/06/2024: Didn’t dine here because the moment my wife and I entered the establishment to take a look at the menu and check out the space, a waiter rudely approached us and asked us in Italian to either leave or take our seats. When we tried to explain that we needed just a minute to decide , he insisted that we leave - repeatedly speaking over us and behaving aggressively. We are respectful anywhere we visit, so it’s tough to understand why he’d refuse guests (the restaurant was not full). If I had to guess - well, just search their reviews for the word “rude.” Most of these reviews are from people who aren’t Italian. In fact, the majority of these reviewers have Asian surnames (my wife and I are Asian). Coincidence? Regardless, complete lack of hospitality or kindness, and not representative of what should be a charming town and people in San Gimignano. 5/5 trash.

25/08/2024: Visited the place for a wine tasting with food included. The area is designed and developed to accommodate both small and large companies. The wine tasting was with 7 selected wines from Tenuta Torciano. With the option of purchasing several also exclusive bottles. Wine can be bought on site, with the option of home delivery. Also out in Europe. Parking is far below the property's holdings. But don't worry, there is pick-up and drop-off in golf carts.
