Il Fienile In San gimignano

The best Place in San Gimignano. The view from the inn's garden is spectacular, the room is very good and the owner Francesca and her father Mauro are wonderful and sweet people. I highly recommend everyone who wants to go to San Gimignano to stay at this hotel.

I wish I could give six stars. We absolutely loved our stay here. Its just a short walk from town, uphill though. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view of San Gimignano is unbelievable. Breakfast was super tasty and generous and served in the garden(depending on season) where you have this great view. Last but not least is how incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful Francesca was.

Abbiamo soggiornato, io e mia moglie, per una sola notte, peccato.., in questo piacevolissimo b&b. Camera molto bella e pulita, colazione ottima e che dire dei proprietari? Francesca con il padre Mauro due persone davvero squisite. Colazione servita in giardino con vista mozzafiato su San Giminiano, sembrava un quadro d'autore. Super consigliato. Pensiamo proprio di ritornarci. Francesca e Claudio

Absolut perfekte Unterkunft für einen Besuch in San Gimignano und Umgebung. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, am Frühstück gab es nichts auszusetzen. Die Aussicht beim Frühstück ist atemberaubend und die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär und angenehm. Wenn mann irgendwas braucht, seien es Ideen für Unternehmungen, Hilfe bei der Reservierung von Restaurants oder bei der Buchung von Ausflügen steht Francesca jederzeit tatkräftig zur Seite. 10/10 Punkten, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und sogar noch länger bleiben.

Staying here was the absolute highlight of our holiday! Francesca and Mauro were so friendly and welcoming, and gave us loads of great suggestions about the local area (and beyond for our onward journey!). We felt truly looked after, and although Francesca speaks excellent English she was very encouraging and patient with my bad Italian :) The room was very large with lots of storage, a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a good shower. However you won't want to spend much time in the room because the real high point of Il Fienile is the garden with the stunning panoramic view of the San Gimignano skyline and the valley below. When the weather is good breakfast is served there so you can start the day with the great view, and we also spent several evenings out there watching the sun go down and enjoying the selection of excellent local wines they have. The B&B is about a 10-minute walk from San Gimignano so you have the double benefit of being close to the town but also being able to benefit from some peace and quiet and the lovely view. We will 100% stay again when we revisit Tuscany!
