Can we give it 10 stars?!? Three nights in San Gimignano and two dinners there, the menu too spectacular not to return! The meat was amazing, the Florentine steak and fillet were superb, not to mention the hand-grilled beef tartare, the flavor inexplicable, incredible! Relaxed atmosphere and soft lighting, Chef Stefano and the friendly staff know how to recommend the right dishes and wines 😍 A must for anyone visiting San Gimignano! This is a really nice place to eat T-Bone steak. The staff are friendly and helpful. Both the cooking of the meat and the salads were really good. They even let you approve your choice of meat before cooking it.

The food is very good, although overpriced. However, I understand that the whole region has a high cost of living. We ordered the traditional steak. It was very tasty. To accompany it, we ordered a salad. Both were very generous portions for two people. In fact, there was even some meat left over. We didn't order dessert or wine because we were full. But the other people did order wine. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. From what I understood, it was an old medieval house or wine cellar. The only thing that left something to be desired was the service. They seemed to want to serve quickly and without talking to the customers. But on the other hand, I understand that it must be difficult to find good people in a remote place like this!

My partner and I wanted to eat an excellent Florentine steak and found this perfect restaurant in San Gimignano. They specialize in meat (they don't serve pasta), and we had a really good time and a delicious meal. They also have a great wine selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The price is right for the quality. Highly recommended!

We dined last night at this restaurant renowned for the quality of the meat and the skill in cooking it. Everything was excellent. The price was commensurate with the service and the entire menu: you pay for quality, otherwise go elsewhere. Everything was excellent.

Cannot overstate how good the food was. We ordered the ribeye chefs selection and truffle mashed potatoes. Both absolutely knocked our socks off. Best steak we have ever had hands down. Atmosphere was fantastic with it being in an underground basement with stone walls and arches that really reflect the history of the town. Service was excellant as well. Possibly most surprising was that the prices were absolutely reasonable. This restaurant could charge much more based on the food quality and atmostphere. Chef is an artist. Also, not crowded at all. Absolutely must come to this place.
