Chosen because it was found on the Michelin website. I tried the meat tasting accompanied by a local wine tasting. Spent a lot compared to the quality of the dishes, excellent wines, ravioli and dessert. Adequate quantities.

A very good family lunch in the magnificent setting of Volterra.
I ate some good homemade tagliolini with truffles, the pasta was really good and I continued with a larded rack of lamb in an almond crust.
Lunch was accompanied by two decent wines by the glass.

Aside from the elegant place, the staff is what makes the service excellent and tasteful. The waitress was perfect from every point of view, but the highlight was the boy preparing excellent meat on the grill, in full view of the guests. He must be recognized for an exceptional commitment, a visible dedication to work and the fact that he is the owner only adds praise.

Locale curato e con ottimi dettagli.
Nello specifico sono stato un mercoledì con specialità’ alla brace dove lo chef, amorevolmente si mette fronte al camino a cucinare carne e patate al cartoccio.
Qualità ottima e buon servizio.
Un po’ lenti, ma capisco che fare brace per tutti o tavoli tenendo un certo ritmo non è’ facile, quindi complimenti a chi e’ comunque riuscito a far contenti i clienti.

Characteristic restaurant in the center of Volterra. The place is small and, sorry to say, the staff was not up to par in serving customers. Too much waiting to receive the menus and dishes.
Excellent food though 👍
Prices adequate for the quality and location.

Wij hadden drie keer het vleesmenu en één keer vismenu met bijpassende wijnen. Het enige dat tegenviel was het toetje bij het vleesmenu, de andere gangen waren overheerlijk. Redelijk geprijsd en vlotte bediening!
