17/12/2024: The best ice cream in every sense! It's delicious and crueltyfree!!! In addition to the cones and snack cups (always plentiful), I also chose Kremmy ice cream for my birthday cake and my wedding cake. both were sensationally good and beautiful, richly decorated with brightly colored flowers and butterflies. A huge success! The guests were amazed that it was so good and above all vegan! Giada made us really happy! All the staff are very kind, the place is very cute, colorful and suitable for children, there are sheets and pencils for coloring and a bowl of water for hot furry friends. Highly recommended! But be careful: gianduia is addictive!!!

01/04/2025: One of those trusted places, where you are sure that the gastronomy is always of quality, you can even eat directly on site, their fish first courses are truly delicious and of high quality! The staff is always very kind and nice, excellent value for money!

27/03/2025: Il Gramofone is my favorite restaurant in Lucca. It’s a family-owned gem, run by a young couple—he manages the restaurant, and she works her magic as the chef! The menu is small and thoughtfully curated, with 3-4 dishes in each category: starters, first courses, and main dishes. Every item is absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting with a group of four, I recommend ordering different dishes and sharing—you’ll be amazed at how exceptional each one tastes. Be sure to ask for a wine recommendation, too. Their pairings are spot-on and elevate the dining experience even further. After just one visit, you’ll probably find yourself wanting to return. Saying it’s “highly recommended” doesn’t quite do it justice!

23/03/2025: This is without doubt one of the best meals we have ever had. Our server was wonderful and the owner was very attentive and fun to speak with. His wine choice for us was great and it was from a local vineyard. We loved the whole experience!

21/03/2025: We were thrilled to have gotten a last minute reservation. The staff is wonderful and the reviews of Pasquale are spot on. We had a delicious meal and could not believe the reasonable prices. You could NEVER get a meal of that quality for that price in the US. Love the decor! And they even let pets in and we got to sit next to a very sweet, well-behaved pup. It was a little difficult to find but I think they just moved to this new location and maybe didn't have full signage up. Thanks for a great visit.

13/04/2025: Sono stata alla Martinatica con il mio ragazzo per i miei 30 anni e devo dire che sono rimasta positivamente sorpresa. Chef impeccabile e servizio eccellente, siamo stati molto bene e consiglio vivamente il menù degustazione 8 portate, sicuramente non uscirete con la fame. Ne approfitto per ringraziare lo chef che è riuscito a propormi un menù vario e completo nonostante le mie allergie. Può sembrare scontato, ma dato che in tanti posti mi chiedono praticamente di dare disdetta e non andare a cena, a causa delle mie numerose allergie, ho apprezzato molto. Torneremo sicuramente

12/04/2025: É quello che potrebbe capitarvi alla fine di un pranzo o di una cena andando a mangiare alla Martinatica. Oramai basta un cenno o uno sguardo del direttore d’orchestra nonché chef affermato Francesco d’Agostino per far sì che la sua brigata in cucina e in sala esegua il proprio spartito in maniera impeccabile. Ad ogni uscita di un piatto é stato un susseguirsi di emozioni, visive, olfattive e gustative. Complimenti a tutti e di nuovo grazie per averci fatto trascorrere una magnifica serata.

18/03/2025: Ho girato molte steakHouse in italia ed Europa e Sinceramente da una macelleria e dalla selezione del menù sono rimasto deluso, abbastanza buono ma niente di che, anzi ho mangiato carne migliori anche in alcune semplici trattorie..

15/02/2025: Locale piccolo ma accogliente e la cosa che mi è piaciuta di più era il bancone macelleria a vista con tagli di carne pregiata che ti facevano venir tanta voglia di mangiare. Ci hanno offerto un assaggio delle loro polpette al ragù e affermo di non aver mai mangiato polpette più buone. Come antipasto abbiamo preso un carpaccio di vitello e una tartare di manzo di altissima qualità (io la carne cruda la mangio solo dove so che la carne è trattata bene). Poi abbiamo optato per 1 kg di bistecca di un allevamento locale, frullata 90 giorni, servita su un piatto di pietra lavica. La carne era tenerissima, cotta al punto giusto e di un sapore che non si puó descrivere ma solo provare! Dí accompagnamento abbiamo preso patate al forno e verdure, e quest’ultime erano veramente ottime. Abbiamo conversato con il proprietario e sua figlia, due persone davvero amichevoli e molto cordiali, ci tengono ai loro clienti e instaurano un “rapporto”. Per chi dovesse passare per Lucca (noi siamo napoletani) consiglio assolutamente di provare la loro carne e i loro piatti. Siamo usciti dal locale sazi ma non strapieni e da qui si capisce che i prodotti sono di ottima qualità! Grazie mille allo staff!

18/04/2025: Spacious and bright rooms. The spa is excellent for children with its heated pool. There is a very handy play area with good toys. There are bikes for rental and umbrellas to borrow. Staff are friendly and polite. Occasionally the front desk staff prioritized phone calls over physical people which was annoying.

15/04/2025: Very large hotel, comfortable room although I would have looked better at the appearance of the entrance door (a little shaky). I suggest having more maintenance on the wear of the furniture, inside the paint has evident signs of rubbing and the wooden floor in some parts is a little "swollen". The furnishings are still modern, but the signs of wear should be treated more specifically. Room still clean. Breakfast, varied, plentiful and very good, from savory to sweet, satisfies the tastes of many. However, I didn't find much choice for those with gluten intolerance or other particular dietary needs, I would have perhaps created a small space, with foods for those who for example need to eat gluten free or lactose free or sugar free etc..., all perhaps collected in one point, but this is just a suggestion which in no way alters the extremely high quality of the breakfast. The staff, all of them, are really courteous and helpful. The SPA was not to our liking, the cleanliness was lower than the expectations of a 4-star hotel, too many people in a small space, perhaps it would be better to do shifts in capacity, it seemed more like a municipal swimming pool than a spa, I would also leave some hourly access spaces only for adults to allow the relaxation that generally the spa concept gives us hope of experiencing. Having relaxation and calm with 10/15 children all together screaming and diving is a bit unthinkable, everyone certainly has the right to enjoy the spa, but dividing the income would satisfy more people with different needs. We expected more from the SPA (which was the main option that led us to choose to stay in this hotel). Overall a pleasant stay and we will return. Positive points: Really helpful and friendly staff Large and clean room Parking included Abundant, varied and good breakfast

31/03/2025: già quando al momento dell'ingresso dovresti capire che devi scappare via anche per il solo aspetto del locale trasandato e sporco, e pei il pessimo odore di fritto e rifritto che ti resta poi appiccicato agli indumenti per lungo tempo anche dopo che sei volta uscito. all'interno della vetrina del piccolo bancone di preparazione dei panini si può vedere che i vari ingredienti utilizzati sono di scadente qualità come ad esempio maionese e ketchup di sotto marca Simply di Esselunga, per passare poi a qualche salume di altrettanto bassa qualità come lo speck a trancio in sottovuoto. il risultato finale sono dei panini di gusto e sapore meno che mediocre, venduti a 7.00 euro che sono un valore assolutamente esagerato rispetto alla qualità degli ingredienti. Valutazione meno uno.

30/03/2025: Absolutely perfect! Friendly welcome and attentive service, chic, modern and creative decor, creativity in the dishes that use local and seasonal products beautifully presented. A well-thought-out wine list and delicious and original wines by the glass. We loved the meal at this restaurant worthy of a gourmet restaurant while the prices of the dishes are on average 20 euros! Bravo and thank you!

22/03/2025: We booked without great expectations thinking it was a place for tourists, but we were pleasantly surprised first by the environment then by the courtesy and competence of the staff and above all by the refined cuisine with sublime flavours. Price absolutely adequate and not at all high. Heartfelt congratulations
