05/11/2025: Being in Lucca for several days, for my daughter wedding. Looking for the best lampredotto sandwich available, unfortunately not available at Fiaschetto, because they were out for the day, and preparing antipasti for a... wedding the next day! Fortunately for me, the same weeding that we were! :D Sooo, they brought me one lampredotto at the wedding! Excellent taste, excellent service level, I would warmly recommend Fiaschetto

17/10/2025: Excellent and very creative food. The cook and host has many years of international experience which one can tell from the dishes. Very welcoming wife who is managing this place fantastically. A real small treasure within buzzing and touristy Lucca.

Pasquale, the owner, is passionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable on wines. ….Extensive wine list… He chose 2 great wines for our dinner, that were fantastic. The food is fabulous!! 10/11/2025: Excellent dinner and a super welcome! All the dishes we tried were refined and tasty in their simplicity. The apple tart was simply amazing. It will be a pleasure to return to try other dishes.

08/11/2025: A wonderful experience! The dishes were excellent, with a special mention for the calamari and the tuna (in its pistachio and tea coating). The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was recommended to us by the Hotel San Marco and, without a doubt, it's an excellent choice, just a few minutes from the walls of Lucca.

I believe the location, the dining room where a wonderful lunch or dinner is served, and the dishes themselves speak volumes even more than the reviews themselves. Book and enjoy something unique. Kudos not only to the chef, who, by listening to his guests' preferences, can take you on a unique culinary journey, but especially to the staff, both in the dining room and, above all, in the kitchen. We'll be back... always!

The moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the peaceful charm of the Tuscan countryside – a setting that immediately invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. The location strikes a perfect balance between rustic and elegant, with thoughtful details that reflect a deep appreciation for both tradition and contemporary comfort. The service was excellent throughout the entire meal. The staff were warm and attentive, striking just the right tone – always available, but never overbearing. It’s clear that hospitality here is taken seriously, and that every guest is made to feel welcome and relaxed. We were offered a tasting menu personally curated by the chef, and it was an exceptional journey through refined and creative cuisine. The menu included a variety of intriguing elements: delicate raw fish, a luxurious truffle and potato combination, perfectly cooked linguine enriched with miso, followed by bold proteins like bison, suckling pig, and quail. Each dish showcased a clear culinary vision – combining high-quality ingredients with modern technique and thoughtful presentation. Most of the courses stood out for their originality and flavor. The raw fish dish was fresh and balanced, the truffle and potato pairing offered an indulgent yet refined start, – a fusion of umami and elegance. The meats were handled with care, each prepared to highlight their unique character without overpowering the palate. Not every dish was a “wow” moment, but the overall experience remained highly impressive. The few elements that were slightly less impactful didn’t detract from the coherence or enjoyment of the meal – if anything, they underscored the chef’s willingness to take creative risks, which we genuinely appreciated. One of the strengths of La Martinatica is how it combines an ambitious, chef-driven menu with the relaxed charm of its surroundings. 17/09/2025: A Magnificent Sweet Discovery. We walked in just to ask where we could get a taxi, and I ended up discovering ONE OF THE BEST ICE CREAMS I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! The staff were VERY ATTENTIVE, KIND, PROFESSIONAL, and HELPFUL. We asked one of them for info about a taxi, and she offered to call one for us (even though we hadn’t bought anything in their shop). We are TRULY GRATEFUL for such kindness! But the big surprise was the ice cream. We decided to try it before taking the taxi. I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE FLAVOR OF THIS ICE CREAM, I can only say it’s AMONG THE BEST IN THE WORLD. I ordered the ARTISANAL cone (homemade right there, lined with chocolate/Nutella inside), with 3 scoops: Cremosino, Pistachio Crocanti, and Cremosino Coconut & Amarena. (Trust me, if you go to Lido di Camaiore: YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS GELATERIA AND THIS ICE CREAM) 100% GUARANTEED 😊. GRAZIE MILLE!!!

29/10/2025: This is a gem not to be missed. There are some great Tuscan restaurants in Lucca (amidst a sea of mediocre ones).. when you’ve had your fill of pasta put Grammofono on your schedule..it’s small and quiet. A little soft jazz to soothe your frazzled nerves. Don’t try to put a label on their style. Just enjoy Chef Clara’s inventive expressions..Constantino and his helpful assistant will see to your every need. A refreshing respite from the crowds. Don’t walk on by (but a reservation would be in order).

17/10/2025: We discovered this lovely restaurant through Google Reviews and decided to stop by. We were lucky to get a table for the same evening. The service was very professional, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner personally spoke to every guest, which felt truly genuine. The food was excellent — a kind of fusion cuisine, not the typical Italian dishes, which was a refreshing change after a few days of pizza and pasta. All in all, a very charming restaurant, run by a lovely couple, and highly recommended!

01/11/2025: We had a great meal in a lovely atmosphere. Delicious vegetarian platter and excellent spaghetti. Friendly owner, easy to talk to. Excellent service from a young woman with beautiful curls (but that's beside the point 😀), who appreciated the compliment (nice too).

25/09/2025: Delicious gelato! Vegan flavors you can't find anywhere else (they even have cream), and the staff were so helpful and friendly! I had the opportunity to be served by Giada (who is very sweet) and one of her employees, and I had a great experience both times. The gelato is delicious and the prices are great for the quantity. I've only tried the vegan flavors and brought a tub to a lunch with non-vegans: everyone loved it! Highly recommended!

29/10/2025: The food was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The service was impeccable. Giorgiana, with her smile and professionalism, was 10/10. Next time we return to Lucca, we'll definitely come back here.

26/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the center of Lucca But not just beautiful, like many restaurants in the center of Lucca. The food is exquisite, and the service is very attentive, as you'd expect from certain restaurants where expectations are high. Expectations were met, excellent quality food, a well-stocked and fresh menu, and an excellent wine cellar. Really attentive service, attentive and professional waiters. The price is a bit high, but justified. I'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: We came to this restaurant in August with our family. The owner sat us on the terrace and gave us a very warm welcome. It had been a long time since we had eaten so well. It was excellent. A big thank you. I regret not having found this restaurant before (we only saw it at the end of our stay) much better than many other restaurants in Viareggio and the owner is very friendly.
