A delicious restaurant with an excellent wine list. The owner is a sweetheart, the waiters are great, everything is perfect! The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and festive, every table is occupied. Everything is great!

This is not just a fabulous restaurant — it is a dining experience. You are welcomed like old friends, and your hosts are full of joy and warmth. The food is outstanding, the service excellent, and the cellar world class, but it is more than that: this is a place where, just for a while, you feel truly at home. We go, and will continue to go, as often as we can. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We stumbled into Osteria da Pasquale on a neighbor’s last-minute recommendation while visiting Lucca — and it became the most memorable meal of our entire trip to Italy. We first arrived on Easter Day, hoping to get a table. Pasquale himself came to the door and explained, with genuine warmth and no pretension, that he simply had no availability. Rather than leaving us to figure it out, he took the time to recommend other restaurants nearby and encouraged us to try again the following day. We came back the next day. He was fully booked again — but Pasquale worked hard to make it happen anyway. He found a way to seat us and even offered the private room, which made our group feel like guests rather than customers. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and deeply Tuscan, and we were lucky enough to try their new Tiramisu — an absolute highlight. But if I’m honest, what we’ll remember most isn’t any single dish. It’s Pasquale. His generosity, his attention, and the way he made a group of travelers from Atlanta feel completely at home in his restaurant. If you’re in Lucca, don’t leave without eating here. Book well in advance!

The owner is friendly and knowledgeable...kind of offering desserts and liqueurs at the end of the meal. Excellent quality food. A must-see in Lucca. Pietro and Anna from Imperia with passion and love.
