29/08/2025: Reading the reviews, I think we were very unlucky. We went in May. I was very excited because we're from the countryside. The owner welcomed us and was downright rude to us. They were having a family celebration, and everything seemed very friendly, but he was especially unpleasant with us. I don't know if it was because we're Spanish, because we're women, or why, because we were very kind, respectful, and polite. He gave us an apartment that smelled horrible. It smelled like a septic tank, accumulated urine, dampness—it was truly unpleasant. We could barely sleep, with everything wide open and air freshener dripping everywhere to try to hide it. No one asked us if everything was okay when we left or arrived. It's a beautiful and very authentic place, pure Sicily, and I think if we had been in another apartment, perhaps the experience would have been different. But between the owner's bad mood and the stench, it was our worst experience in Sicily after 20 days of traveling.
23/08/2025: Reading other people's reviews, I agree with both the positive and negative aspects. The place itself has excellent potential if the owners were better managed.
It's fine for relaxing and enjoying a couple of days away from the world, but it's not a good idea to have it as a base for a longer vacation.
All this is because it doesn't offer adequate services, beyond towels, sheets, and cleaning. Breakfast is only written down, and I don't understand why it's not specified before booking, as it's not available on the property. There's no common area to make your own breakfast, nor are there cutlery, glasses, or a coffee maker. So you have to bring everything from home, but the question arises. What did I pay for? For a bed and a private bathroom, which doesn't justify the money.
The shared refrigerator for the entire resort is very inconvenient and, above all, always almost full. Our king room was excellent in terms of space, but the windows don't dampen noise, so some nights you can hear the dogs barking.
The Wi-Fi is very weak and only works near the owner's house.
I'm very sorry, but it has enormous potential that isn't being exploited, and finally, a little more friendliness and hospitality wouldn't hurt.

25/09/2025: Very, very good traditional pizza, with genuine and fresh ingredients, and helpful and very kind staff.
We've been coming here with our family all our lives. Inside the cutlery, wrapped in a napkin with a bow, you'll find quotes from authors and more—beautiful.

28/08/2025: If I could, I'd give everything a zero!! UNCOMMENTABLE FOOD AND PRICE! We had lunch after an hour's wait, with maybe only 4 tables to serve. The appetizer was for 4 people, but maybe two people ate, but not even that much!! High prices for the portions and non-existent staff!

02/11/2025: We have stayed in this “hotel” which is not a hotel 4 start as they saying but just a rooms .
We stayed 3 days and was welcome fine and left a deposit of euro 500 which they insisted and paid also upfront .
Once we left and deposit should be released , 1 week after no funds have been released and they keep prolonging the stay. Receptionist doesn’t speak English and the guy Andrea keeps playing the fool. The rooms are ice but it is NOT A HOTEL SO becareful giys because we have also reported them to fraud area as we have not received any invoices paid and release of our funds !

27/09/2025: Poor food. The ingredients used were likely freshly defrosted and poorly cooked. The seafood spaghetti was actually spaghetti with mussels. The excessive price and numerous other service deficiencies contributed to this negative experience.

04/10/2025: A truly embarrassing place. Completely overpriced for what it is. It’s effectively a place nailed together by plywood with a bar and a bottle of Moet being displayed. Owner is snotty and turns up the music well beyond „party“ level at random moments. He thinks of himself as a bit of a DJ but does not know what he’s doing. Instead he terrorises his guests. No problem with loud music but there is a moment and a place and that’s not it. Sorry guys but this place is a no no.
24/09/2025: The place itself is cute, no complaints there: the atmosphere is pleasant, and the idea could work. But we're in Sicily, not New York! The prices are so exorbitant that they completely ruin the experience. In the end, you're left with the feeling of having paid too much for a few bamboo decorations and little else.
Definitely the first and last time: a place designed only for naive tourists who get ripped off. And with all the money they charge, they're not even capable of clearing the mountains of trash from the side streets.

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, I'm forced to give it one star, if not less. I've been ordering from this place forever, but recently I've noticed a decline in quality. Every time—and I mean every time—I order, the restaurant changes or removes ingredients without any kind of communication (e.g., the cutlet instead of the classic Poldo chicken, or a Professore without mushrooms, etc.). The fries are cold and of lower quality than before, a salmon sandwich with two meager slices of salmon... In short, terrible value for money. It's a shame because it used to be one of the best.
20/09/2025: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LONG-TERM CUSTOMERS NOT TO SET FOOT HERE.
I went to a place I've been going to for years. I ordered, and after almost 40 minutes of waiting, they realized they'd lost my order, and with a huff, they took it back without even listening. Later, after they'd delivered the sandwiches and were leaving, I realized one was missing. Instead of apologizing in every way, they huffed and puffed and complained to the kitchen. I asked the owner to come out to apologize, and he almost wanted to punch me just because I was so upset. I think the old owner, "Paolo," would have sent everyone home if he'd seen a scene like that.
A loyal customer since the old location, but after this, they lost an entire family of customers.

09/08/2025: It smelled awful! We ate while smelling sewage coming from the bathroom, and even though we closed the door to prevent it from coming in, they opened it again after 2 minutes for no reason. Don't go!

09/12/2025: To my surprise, after several years, I rediscovered this dance hall-pizzeria. I found it much, much improved: excellent pizza, spacious dance hall, cabaret, bands, and group dancing. I must say... it was a nice surprise. We'll be back, even if we'll be listening to some great music with Carmelo Vinci and his "Estasj."
02/12/2025: A large, unadorned room, even a little chilly, with tables that just wobble. Overall, the pizza was decent. The service staff were excellent.
