It's clear that the property was acquired by new management a few months ago and needs a lot of updating (the old management was running it into disrepair). The spa is large and comfortable, dinner was fine, international breakfast was fine, rooms were large and comfortable, and heating was fine (some on the ground floor need to address some deficiencies). There's plenty of greenery for pleasant walks, the structure has an ancient and modern style (it was, in fact, a monastery), and the staff was fine. Recommended. If you book with a coupon, the price is currently excellent. At the price of a full 4-star hotel, I'd say no until they address some of the shortcomings left by the old management.

I'll start by saying we booked without reading the reviews, but after reading them, we had a bad impression, which I want to refute. The location is worth it, isolated from the daily chaos, surrounded by nature and these expanses of golf courses. A super clean outdoor pool, rooms with a view. The seafood dinner was good, but to be excellent, it might have needed something fresh. We're happy with our choice! Be wary of other people's reviews.
