The pitches were very nice and the grounds were very well-maintained with lots of beautiful plants. The reception staff were incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were very dirty. A hot shower was only available with coins. Given the price of the pitch, this should have been included. The access road was very narrow. A large portion of the beach's embankment had broken away, making the beach quite unsightly. We wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than one night.

A very positive experience, the welcome, cleanliness, and food were top notch. I particularly appreciated the tranquility, the cleanliness of the tent sites, and the restrooms and showers. The icing on the cake was the restaurant, managed by Pietro, a helpful, exquisite, and very friendly person. He was able to perfectly recommend all the dishes, catering to our tastes and whims.
I hope to return soon, perhaps to stay a few more days!

First of all, the location by the sea is amazing and well located to visit Syracuse and other towns. We were welcomed by a friendly elderly Italian man, who spoke no English, but that was okay.
This could be a great camping. However, it is severely outdated and even ruined in places, with no apparent work in progress to fix this. The bottom terrace by the sea was ruined by a storm, and is now a very dangerous place: unsupervised kids could fall on the rocks below, as nothing has been done to secure the site. The facilities are severely outdated. There are six showers (not counting those with no privacy) which use an antiquated cash-only payment system, and about six toilets per gender, for a camping of 150 spots. There is no hot water for dishwashing, and the lights are broken if you want to wash dishes after sundown. There are many water spouts around, but they don't work. We were lucky to have a caravan with a watertank and a toilet, so we didn't have to use the facilities too much. We also had to pay our stay in cash because the bancomat wasn't working.
The road to the camping is notoriously tricky to navigate. It is a walled street that barely fits one car, but has two-way traffic. Fortunately the Italians are helpful in figuring out a solution if you do encounter traffic. Also, the road to the terraces by the sea, on the camping itself, is a steep sand road in very poor condition, making it difficult for heavy vehicles to go back up without slipping.
With ACSI discount in off-season the prices are okay (€27 for a spot, €32 if you want to be by the sea), but in high season you can easily pay €50 per night.
All in all, this camping is worth it for campers/caravans that have their own facilities, purely because of the location and the view of the sea (if you pay extra), and only if you're willing to navigate the difficult access road and camping roads with your heavy vehicle. If your standards are not too high, this camping is probably fine for tents in low-season, when the price is lower and the facilities are not too busy. Otherwise, I do not recommended this camping.

The campsite itself is laid out like a palm garden on terraces, the sanitary facilities could use a renovation and unfortunately the winter storms of 25/26 have severely damaged the beach.
