31/10/2025: I regret having to write this review because the waiter served us very well, but today my mother and I went for breakfast and when it came time to pay, the man was incredibly rude to us simply for wanting to pay by card. This is the first time this has happened to me in all of Avola, and it's a shame that such a lovely place is ruined by someone who is always in a bad mood and treats customers poorly.

11/10/2025: I went here in the quest of the best cannolo in Avola. This was not it - the texture of the filling was a bit off, and the cannolo had been pre-filled (which makes the crust a bit soggy and less crunchy). I also had a coffee granita which I did not like, as well as another pastry which was a bit bland. It was all takeaway. I suppose this is a good place for a quick coffee, but I wouldn't go again.

08/12/2025: A simple place, it offers takeout or served at a few tables or at the counter: we enjoyed the pane cunzato with tuna/dried tomatoes and olives and the swordfish caponata, both very tasty.

31/07/2025: I expected more... well-kept hotel... 2 nice pools but no entertainment or a lifeguard... plus on the lawn by the pool there are ants, the red ones that bite and swell you worse than mosquitoes... at least I'm speaking for myself who had to resort to a cortisone cream... no catering... a challenge for lunch since everything in the surrounding area was closed... what can I say... shame... a hotel with great potential... but I definitely won't be returning...

30/08/2025: A beautiful venue, the result of meticulous attention to detail, from the menu graphics to the presentation of the cocktails (which are also very good). A lovely atmosphere in a very charming setting, managed with care and taste. The aperitif platter was delicious and plentiful!

30/10/2025: Absolutely Not Recommended: Disappointing Experience at Onda Blu Isola 👎 I do not recommend Onda Blu Isola and urge others to look elsewhere for a quality dining experience. Our recent visit was unfortunately characterized by poor service, stale food, and ingredients that were clearly past their prime. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt intrusive. The service team was uncomfortably pushy, repeatedly attempting to upsell and pressure us into ordering items we didn't want or ask for. This persistent, aggressive sales tactic made us feel rushed and unwelcome throughout the entire meal. The quality of the food was the most significant issue. When the fresh fish selection was presented, it was visually obvious that the fish was old and not fresh. It lacked the vibrant look you expect from a reputable seafood restaurant, making us immediately hesitant to order. Furthermore, the bread served to our table was noticeably stale—likely from the day before—which is unacceptable for any establishment. Overall, the combination of aggressive service and a clear lack of fresh, quality ingredients made this a very disappointing and wasted evening.

28/10/2025: The food quality was great, definitely the star of the show followed by the lovely views from the table. The staff honestly ruined the overall experience, serving dishes without providing cutlery, pausing half way through an order to make jokes with other staff then getting the order wrong because of this? Amazing. Lastly, the wine selection. No wine list given, no prices mentioned just bottles shown. The wine was good but when you're being charged €230 a bottle for local Italian wine? Our own fault for letting them get away with it really, exploitation at its finest.

16/08/2025: Decent bakery, but if you're expecting an afternoon or, worse, evening deli, it might be better to go further ahead to avoid eating what's left over from the morning.

26/10/2025: The place has a welcoming atmosphere, and the pizzolo is truly delicious, made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. 🍕 The wait can be a bit long on Sundays, but it's worth it to enjoy the quality of the pizza. Friendly staff and attentive service.

29/08/2025: If you're looking for a corner of authentic flavor in the heart of Sortino, La Rotonda is a must-see. This welcoming, family-friendly restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a dinner with friends or family. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to recommend the house specialties with a smile. The real star of the show is the pizza: light, well-leavened dough, with high-quality toppings. But the real highlight of the menu is the pizzolo, available in both savory and sweet versions. A must-try is the one with chicken and pistachio, or—for those with a sweet tooth—the sweet one with ricotta, honey, and cinnamon, which will win you over with the first bite.

21/08/2025: I had the pleasure of staying and dining at this delightful place and can't recommend it highly enough. The waiters are incredibly kind, always attentive and caring. The rooms are excellent, meticulously maintained, and super clean: I slept wonderfully. Breakfast was a special treat: warm, fragrant, and fluffy brioche col tuppo, paired with unforgettable granitas, one pistachio and one almond, both truly superb. For dinner, I tried two versions of swordfish: grilled, perfectly seasoned, and Sicilian-style, rich in authentic flavors. Kudos to the chef for the excellent quality and passion that shines through in her dishes. Special praise goes to the two young men and the young woman in the dining room: professional, polite, and always smiling, they made our stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful experience that I definitely want to repeat: I will definitely be back!

12/08/2025: Really nice bar, the granita, in my opinion, is one of the best I've had in the area. Friendly and helpful staff!

16/12/2025: The savory breakfasts are excellent. The sweet options are a bit lacking, but they're still good. I would have preferred a little more light, as the cleanliness isn't perfect. Friendly service, reasonable prices. I'm editing my review because the place has been renovated and is much brighter and cleaner.

03/12/2025: I bought some really special arancini here. I stop by every time I go to the Chinese place nearby. I think it's closed in the afternoon.
