02/11/2025: I went here since I thought it was the same place as the 5* place around the corner with the same name, but it sure isn't. This pizza was horrendous. I hadn't eaten a proper meal the whole day so I was hungry and anxious for this, but after a slice the only taste I had was fat, slimy cheese and I couldn't get rid of the taste either. I ate more slices, trying to give it a real chance and see if I could find any good in it. It couldn't. I never leave reviews on restaurants and I really didn't want to now either, but I have to warn others about this place. Don't buy pizzas from here. I was so hungry, but I couldn't stomach more than half of it, the rest went into the trash bin, still hungry. Way too much cheese and it all tasted and felt like rubber. Worst pizza I've had in many years. Get better.

02/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this trattoria last night and I have to say it was a fantastic experience! The owner was super kind and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. Sebastiano's service was impeccable, with attention to detail and a genuine smile. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying it!!! I will definitely be back for another enjoyable evening. Thank you for your hospitality!

17/06/2025: In vacanza ad Avola, per visitare la parte orientale della Sicilia, città di partenza per visitare luoghi intrisi di storia barocca e dove le vicine spiagge tolgono il fiato, siamo indirizzati da persone del posto in questo bistrot fronte mare dove Tonino e la sua famiglia gestiscono con professionalità e passione uno spazio, dove la buona cucina la fa da padrona. Nella settimana di permanenza ci siamo tornati più volte ... e non ci siamo mai pentiti della scelta. L'attenzione per l'ospite, la cura dei particolari, unita alla qualità della buona cucina ed alla disponibilità di Tonino e del suo staff ... hanno reso le serate e le cene passate da e con loro meritevoli di menzione. Al papà di Tonino un ringraziamento particolare .... I limoni che coltiva con amore e passione, che utilizza nell'attività, e che ci ha regalato, per alcuni giorni seppur già rientrati a casa... ci hanno permesso di sentire il profumo della sua bellissima terra. 19/09/2025: I had dinner with my family at Rosso Tannico. I had the pasta with sardines: well-made and tasty, although I thought the breadcrumbs overpowered the other flavors a bit too much, which I would have preferred to see more balance. In any case, the dish was enjoyable, and the overall experience was positive. I washed it all down with a glass of Frappato red, which paired well with the dinner. A welcoming place and a pleasant atmosphere; overall, a good experience.

16/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant with some friends of mine and we waited to pay for about half an hour because at that time the owner is busy doing something else even though he was passing in front of us and totally ignoring us. Very good food for goodness sake but the service very poor

01/09/2025: This pizzeria located on Viale Epipoli specializes primarily in takeout. The interior is rustic yet welcoming, with chairs and tables that make the wait more pleasant. The owner is always kind and friendly, and the service is quick and attentive. The pizzas are tasty and the prices are average. Personally, I'd prefer them a little tastier, but overall the quality is good. The weekly promotion is very interesting: if your order exceeds €24.90, you'll receive a free Nutella pizzolo (excluding holidays and the days before holidays). Also noteworthy is the convenient family package, which includes three Margherita pizzas, two portions of fries, and a 1.5L bottle of Coca-Cola for just €19.90. The book display inside the shop is a really nice idea: you can take one if you leave one. I found some interesting titles and really appreciate the initiative. Overall, an excellent pizzeria worth keeping as a reference, especially for takeout. Recommended!

15/09/2025: It was the evening of September 13th, exactly 10 p.m., when three daring adventurers (me and two companions) decided to challenge the unknown gastronomic world of Sortino. Our destination? A 1960s-style pizzeria so out of the way it almost seemed like an urban legend. The odyssey began as soon as we entered: amidst bewildered glances and packed tables, we finally managed to secure a table like heroes returning from battle. Seated triumphantly, we ordered: two golden fries, a fragrant pizza, two solemn pizzoli. But the wait, alas, was as long as a South American soap opera: biblical times to see the food, so much so that we could have sung a Gregorian chant while waiting. When the food finally appeared, it was like the apparition of a mirage: excellent food, authentic flavors, generous portions. But here's the twist: the first pizzolo arrived at the table, not cut like a classic round pizzolo, but carved without any earthly geometry, almost a Dadaist work of art. Perplexed and amused, we tackled this culinary conundrum armed with knives and good will. The staff, despite being entangled in a thousand tasks, were friendly and good-natured, and this alone, given the circumstances, deserved the audience's applause. When it came time for dessert, we discovered that the dessert kingdom was deserted: no tiramisu, no cassatina, no cannoli to comfort us. Only a pizza with Nutella or pistachio, a sort of mythological creature half gluttony and half cholesterol challenge. We decided, like good, prudent knights, not to tackle it. And while the innkeeper, with a paternal gesture, offered us the house amaro, we declined, too full for further displays of courage. Thus ended our epic: a vintage pizzeria with slow service but a big heart, where imperfection becomes color and every wait a story to be told.

21/09/2025: Good pizza, terrible service, and a decent atmosphere. We booked by phone, and they made us wait an hour before seating us, then half an hour for the menus, and half an hour for water, not to mention appetizers and pizza. It's a shame because the pizza is good, but with service like that, you'll never want to go back.

13/09/2025: The food was really good. Unfortunately, they seated us at a very small table for two, when there were four of us, so the space was really limited and uncomfortable. It would be nice to see more attention paid to table arrangements. Furthermore, the inside dining room is poorly air-conditioned, so it's very hot.

02/10/2025: Super friendly and delicious! Nothing is too much trouble for the hostess! Fantastic! Unfortunately, we only discovered it during the last three days of our stay in Cassibile. Highly recommended!🤩

16/09/2025: I called to order takeaway and specified the pickup time, which was confirmed to me. However, when I arrived, I was asked to wait twice. I explained that I had small children waiting in the car, and I was told that everything was ready. When the staff member went to the manager, she replied in an unfriendly manner that I still had to wait. I find this lack of courtesy unacceptable.

12/09/2025: Top-notch arancini!! Giuseppina's arancini are delicious from start to finish. Once you try them, you can't help but come back. They're so good and crunchy, they're addictive!!! Fantastic!!!

11/10/2025: Inviting location and apparently good menu, unfortunately the experience was terrible. The seafood spaghetti was precooked and almost cold, so the ingredients were of poor quality and the shrimp had sand and uncleaned intestines. Avoid.

10/10/2025: I cannot comment on the quality of the food; however, the music was played at such a high volume that it significantly detracted from the dining experience, even for those seated on the opposite terrace. It might be beneficial if all parties considered maintaining a more respectful sound level to ensure a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone.
