31/05/2026: Unlike the previous review, we're not locals, but our opinion of this place is exactly the same as Giancarlo's: VERY SATISFIED! The almond granita was absolutely amazing, I've never had anything better. Everything we tried during our week-long stay was superb: brioches, realistic fruit, arancini, appetizers! And, last but not least, Stefano and his entire staff were friendly and courteous. Oh, and I almost forgot... all at a price we can only dream of in Padua!

11/04/2026: It's been a while since I've eaten such delicious, and especially rich, pieces. Often, you find rotisserie in bars that are almost entirely pasta, but here it's the exact opposite: the toppings are plentiful, flavorful, and present right down to the last bite. You immediately sense the obsessive attention to detail, from the quality of the ingredients to the perfect cooking, never greasy and always fragrant. Beyond the food, which is truly on another level, the staff makes the difference. They're incredibly kind, always ready to chat and make you feel welcome even when the place is packed. It's the kind of place you return to not only because the food is divine, but because you feel treated well. A must-visit if you're in the area and want to be sure of a great meal. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: I ordered two sweet pieces that weren't to my liking; they were buttery and slightly undercooked, very mushy. I really hope they change my mind. The service was very good. The lady was very kind.

The staff stands out for their courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism, always ready to offer advice and make customers feel at ease. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, ideal for a pleasant break at any time of day. The product offering is varied and of excellent quality, both for gelato and pastries, with always fresh and beautifully presented. The prices are also in line with the quality offered and the industry average, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place definitely worth a visit, especially for the attentiveness and kindness of the staff.

29/04/2026: A modern hotel equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Clean rooms with all the necessary amenities, featuring a modern and efficient design. The adjacent café and pastry shop offers a delicious breakfast. The last important factor is the helpfulness of the hotel staff: attentive to the guests' needs and very courteous. A special thanks to Christian and his sister for their kindness and support during my stay. I will return soon, this time to visit the wonders surrounding Augusta.

13/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience. Exceptional staff and owner. Good meat, excellent wine. Only note: when cooking the ribeye, the grill was probably a little cold, which is why it didn't turn out great.

08/06/2026: We stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel's location was excellent, the staff were very professional, the cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back.

15/03/2026: A bit of a mixed bag, this hotel has its drawbacks. The room was great, clearly recently renovated, but the finishing touches need improvement: a missing wall light and a tangle of exposed electrical wires. On the plus side, the room was large and had a beautiful view, but the soundproofing was a bit poor; you could hear the street noise quite clearly. The bathroom was adequate, but there was limescale everywhere; apparently, they weren't familiar with using white vinegar. And the grout wasn't doing its job. The breakfast room was very nice, but again, some finishing touches were needed. The breakfast was decent, nothing more for a 4-star hotel. Another plus was its proximity to the train station, the bus stop for the airport, and Ortigia, the tourist heart of Syracuse.

08/08/2026: I'm sorry, but the welcome wasn't the best. The lady who takes orders is always quite grumpy and angry. I think when you think you're getting to the top, where you're sure the tables are full every day and everyone's orders were placed days before, the customer represents your growth, and that's why you have to treat them a certain way. One day the waves can change direction. Be kind, practice kindness, and you'll certainly have better results in the long run.

21/08/2026: My birthday was ruined by terrible service: the appetizer was served without breadsticks or bread, a focaccia was served after the appetizer was already finished, not to mention the seafood pasta that was completely dry, brought back because we were still at the appetizer, and served like a reheated dish. And the wine menu? Not to mention the sneering waiters and the slow service. I've traveled quite a bit, especially to beautiful places in Sicily. I've eaten divinely everywhere and have seen both excellent staff and staff who were less than knowledgeable, but serious. Never again!!!

23/12/2025: Fantastic, a very friendly family who really gave us good advice on which pizza to choose 🍕 and we also got a delicious tiramisu. The pizzas were super tasty, good dough, and fresh ingredients. Thank you :-).

01/07/2026: We always return to places where we've had a good time, and Bajamuri for us is an oasis of absolute relaxation where we rediscover our favorite mood. Superlative location, good food, and great music, all expertly balanced by our friend Gigi, an extraordinary owner and a top-notch host. It was a real pleasure spending some time with you, Gigi. 10/05/2026: Although we only had 2.5 days in Syracuse, we ate here twice for lunch! The restaurant is colorful, artistically designed, visually stunning, and authentically located right in the middle of the market (of course, it's loud, not clean, and chaotic at the market – that's part of the experience). The pasta scoglio and the mixed antipasti were especially excellent and will stay with us for a long time :)

29/04/2026: This noon we had the mixed Antipasti plate which was good. Fritto misto was ok sind the sardines were very small. Swordfish and gamberetti were good but not special. But what we have seen at the table next to us we couldn’t believe, but may this normal in this area: they served arancini with ragout and white rice inside. I haven’t seen this before and I always eat arancini wherever I can get some. And always there were yellow risotto inside. Moderate prices.

10/07/2026: In the beautiful, atmospheric Sicilian Noto, this restaurant will satisfy you with its taste. Delicious and honest food, good service, reasonable prices. The pork tenderloins were tender and the beef tagliatelle was delicious. The burrata was a bit runny and the broccoli meatballs were accompanied by wilted rocket, but they were delicious. A good choice.
