02/08/2025: At Djamila and Aziz's, you don't just come to eat: you come to experience a true interlude of warmth and generosity. She's from Tlemcen, and carries within her the sweetness and tenderness of this city. He's from Marrakech, and brings the spices, colors, and warmth of Morocco. Together, they form a sunny, friendly duo, always smiling, always welcoming. You're never rushed; you're welcomed. And even if the success is noticeable (a bit of a wait sometimes), here, we wait with pleasure, because we know the quality is there. A simple sandwich? Recommended and unforgettable. Thank you to them for their generosity, their cuisine, and their humanity. A place not to be missed. I'll be back for a cuckoo clock; it seems to be the best in Sicily.

12/08/2025: Good morning, I am writing this review without any personal interest, but only if I can share the experience we had yesterday, August 31, 2019, of a lunch for 4 people. I was on vacation in Sicily and to say that I ate badly breaks my heart because it is an insult to all the restaurateurs we have been trying every day for 15 days in various locations. We ordered 2 mixed fried fish dishes with an unspeakable flavor, not fried well, with a bitter taste, had them taken back, at which point we asked for 1 fried calamari dish... I won't go any further. IN THE FINAL BILL THEY MADE YOU PAY FOR THE 2 MIXED FRIED FOODS one at a time, I didn't want to believe it... but I prefer to have paid for 2 first courses, 1 fried calamari dish, 2 mussel dishes, 1 liter of wine on tap, 3 coffees, 2 bitters, €116.00. I will repeat endlessly that negative publicity creates more of a stir than almost any controversy. I give 1 star because I am obliged to never again, what a shame. paying for what you haven't eaten is very annoying.

28/08/2025: They recommended it to us because the food was excellent. We booked at 8.30, arrived at 8.35, took a table, well, they didn't give a damn about it, other people arrived and were always served before us. I'll start by saying that I have a little girl and she was hungry. Moral of the story: from 8.33 to 9.15 I still heard them say we're coming now, I took it, I got up and left.... the worst experience I've ever had. Basically, if you're a tourist they don't give a damn about you, if you're Sicilian then you're served and revered and this really makes me very sad. I advise you to avoid it.

I made the reservation a month and a half ago for Christmas lunch, I had to leave because of how they had located the table with air current and continuous passage of waiters and customers.....I kindly asked the dining room staff if we could change places he replied that the tables were set by now....what kind of work did he have to do to remove two place settings from a table for four....I'm sorry for inappropriate behavior

13/05/2025: Molte varietà di gusti ma qualità del gelato nella media. Purtroppo invece del classico cono ho optato per una brioche con due gusti di gelato. Scelta pessima. Si trattava di un prodotto verosimilmente preconfezionato (gusto del tutto similare ad una merendina). Tutto al modico prezzo di 5 €

28/04/2025: Nos alojamos a la vuelta de la esquina de esta Gelateria - una joya! Gelato y granita eran increíbles, y el personal es muy amable! Tuve una gran conversación con el personal sobre el interés en el béisbol. Este lugar es un poco fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena visitarlo. Delicioso helado en un lugar tranquilo, pero justo al otro lado del puente de Ortigia.

31/05/2025: A CORNER OF PARADISE: We stayed in this residence and it was simply wonderful! Surrounded by nature just a stone's throw from the sea with crystal clear waters. The pool is a real gem, always clean and well-kept. The restaurant exceeded my expectations: very fresh and delicious dishes and with kind and always available staff. We will be back soon!!!!

02/05/2025: It was very nice but I recommend turning on the air conditioners before people arrive and that some breakfast items can be put away for the rest everything is nice

26/07/2025: We stumbled across this cafe/ dessert shop/ bar on our first day and have been back everyday. The tiny ice creams in the freezer are the perfect small sweet treat at the end of the day. Favourite is the hazelnut flavour. We also (accidentally but what a happy accident) ordered an ice cream brioche with three ice cream flavours in it. As well as a lobster tail pastry with ricotta I think? YUM

19/07/2025: Great little coffee bar with excellent ice cream on a cute piazza near the beach. We were there around 14:00 so it was deserted. Highly recommend!

26/07/2025: I always get pizzas delivered and I can confirm that the pizzas are delicious and the service excellent...always very punctual and very kind.

08/03/2025: I found the flyer by chance in my mailbox. Ever since I called the first time, we've been waiting. We want a decent pizza delivered to our door, hot and well-cooked. Not to mention the hot, crispy fries delivered in cardboard wrappers! Never soggy! They're delicious! I can only give it a 10. The person who delivered the pizza was incredibly kind. I recommend it.

25/07/2025: I've tried this sandwich shop several times, and I can confirm that the ingredients are high-quality and the portions are generous. The food is good and not too expensive. The only downside is the bread, which unfortunately isn't always up to par, often being hard or crumbling easily, and sometimes not seeming to be the freshest. It's a shame, because it ruins the sandwich a bit. The service is a bit slow because there's only one person managing both tables and the cash register, but you can sense the team's commitment. With a few small adjustments to the bread and an extra staff member, it could really become a point of reference.

05/03/2025: I've been ordering home delivery from this sandwich shop for about two years and, until recently, I've always had a great experience. However, the latest experience was very disappointing. The penultimate time, the sandwich arrived completely ruined and wet, probably due to the water released by the mozzarella or salad. Despite this, I decided to give it another chance and placed a new order, politely specifying on the phone to pay attention, given the problem I had previously. Unfortunately, the result was the same, or rather worse: the sandwich arrived once again in terrible condition, completely wet and decomposed. The bread, in addition to being wet, looked days old and completely inedible. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but after two similar episodes it's hard to think that it was a coincidence. I hope the restaurant takes these reports into consideration and improves the quality of service.

21/08/2025: The restaurant appears very well-kept and welcoming, but the experience wasn't entirely satisfying. The eggplant parmigiana and the first course arrived cold, and the service, while friendly, was inattentive and lacked knowledge of the menu. With a little more attention, it could really live up to expectations.

07/09/2025: Hello, seated at 1:30 PM, left at 3:30 PM Warm focaccia served instead of bread At the table, after booking and the dishes arriving, everyone ate individually, not together The food is excellent, but not all the fish is fresh Inexperienced waiters are incapable of serving or clearing the table Empty tables, but no one is quick to clear the table Four air conditioners in the dining room, but there's no stable area in the room to be able to eat peacefully For wine, you have to ask for glasses, so as a restaurant room not properly prepared, I understand the lack of staff, but at least the owner in charge knows exactly how to set the table correctly After everyone ate separately, with the dishes arriving over a 40-minute period After requesting coffee, it never arrived Table service management and table preparation need to be reviewed

24/08/2025: Too bad. I had good memories, but I don't think I'll eat there again after last night. Rude staff. Even though we had a reservation, we were denied pizza (and, well, it was on request), we were denied lamb (also on request), and we ordered four portions of concilio, only to be told it was too much...we had to halve our order. All this with very, very little staff availability. We paid 25 euros per person... not exactly cheap, but above all, not even the slightest offer of a word for the mix-up.

22/08/2025: A great opportunity to refuel after the climb with Cava (coffee, ice cream, and drinks)! Patient service, reasonable prices, and incredible views from the covered terrace!
