Sicilian cuisine with influences, revisited in a creative and surprising way, with carefully crafted and never boring dishes. We had the dining room all to ourselves, an added bonus that made the experience even more intimate and enjoyable. The chef guided us through the dinner, explaining each course with great clarity, demonstrating passion and expertise, as well as genuine friendliness. At the end of the evening, we stayed for a very informal chat, and he even offered us a taste of a truly excellent local gin. A unique, welcoming experience, and highly recommended.

A wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the value for money was more than satisfactory. The chef exudes a sense of calm. Highly recommended.

Don't visit Sicily without experiencing Giuseppe's exceptional cuisine! A truly unique experience in many ways: - Generosity: Giuseppe opened his restaurant just for the two of us. - Quality and choice of ingredients: fresh, local cuisine; there's no set menu here, Giuseppe creates each meal based on what's available at the morning market! - Hospitality: what a joy to meet someone so genuine, kind, and welcoming! - Price: for a meal including a starter, four courses, dessert, and coffee, you'll pay two to three times less than in France! Incredible! Thank you again, Giuseppe, we'll definitely be back!

Cose di Casa Nostra Le Residenze Archimide

22/04/2026: A unique hotel complex with private apartments, a beautiful swimming pool, and a restaurant with good food.
16/04/2026: We've just stayed for 2 weeks at Residenze Archimede during the Easter school holidays (UK) with our 12 and 9 year old. The room was clean, simple, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfy. The pool and pizzeria were closed because it was so early in the season. The food on the half board menu was very good. The hotel and grounds are lovely but could do with a lounge. The beach in Arenella is really nice and about a 30 minute walk away. The hotel staff are fantastic and really lovely. The waiters were great with the kids, the reception staff were really helpful with any queries we had. Overall we had an amazing holiday staying here but it's not the kind of holiday where you stay on the resort the entire time. It is rather remote and there are not many amenities nearby (like shops and bars) but we hired a car for 10 days to explore the area. While in the area I would recommend visiting the beaches at calamosche, minareto and fontane bianche. Also the towns of Siracusa, Ragusa and Noto if you hire a car.

23/08/2025: Nice little place on the beach in Noto. Whenever I'm in that area, I always have a good time there. The house seafood appetizer and salads are excellent. The first courses are good, the service is excellent, and the host is very friendly.
15/08/2025: Delicious pizzas and pastas for a reasonable price
