25/09/2025: I absolutely had to try it during my crazy bike ride to Castel Guelfo. It's a lovely gelateria, spacious with plenty of seating both inside and out. There's also a big TV screen. There's even a small park with rides next to the place, a truly great location. The sad face of the gelateria owner, however, touched me; it was a moment when no one else was there. I was honestly very disappointed because I found it to be a very good place, despite the limited gelato selection. The cremino and mascarpone flavors are good. Prices are average.

10/11/2025: Delicious food, I even managed to eat it gluten-free. I'm in a small town in Sicily, so I don't expect the staff to speak English. Authentic Sicilian food, where the locals eat. For me and my husband, it was a real hit. People who expect elegance and service using BBC English should think twice and go to the capital, not the outskirts. Anyone who wants to experience local flavors and atmosphere is in the best place. I recommend it ❤️

01/09/2025: Dinner in a secluded and very romantic corner of a small square in Ortigia. Dishes cooked with love and generous portions, delicious octopus! The owner is friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Too bad! A very nice and quiet place found via The Fork. Tables under a 14th-century building. The food, however, was nothing special: The grilled octopus was chewy, and the pasta with pistachios and shrimp lacked flavor. The guy who served us was nice and kind. I hope they can improve; the place has great potential!

23/08/2025: Nice little place on the beach in Noto. Whenever I'm in that area, I always have a good time there. The house seafood appetizer and salads are excellent. The first courses are good, the service is excellent, and the host is very friendly.

13/02/2026: I went last week for a simple inquiry, to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday. When I got there, there was no one there except the chef, who had told us the room was free for the day I requested, but for details on the menu and costs, I had to discuss it with his wife. I returned a few days later with my family, and I should point out that we were supposed to be a party of 35 for the birthday. First, I was shown a smaller room, then, when I asked to book the larger room, since I wanted some space for dancing and entertainment, I was made to speak to the chef's wife... I wish I'd never done that. First, the smaller room was suddenly no longer available, and as for the larger room, she treated me and my family with an unprecedented rudeness, getting angry because it was impossible for her husband to have told me it was free for that date, and even making a scene, she insisted on calling him to confirm. I wouldn't have had any problem changing the day or choosing another venue. I understand not wanting to rent a large venue on a Saturday night, but I think manners and good manners are key. They were treated like dirt. What a shame.

21/02/2026: Today we were in Syracuse. We arrived from Catania by bus. This is the closest to the old town. We stopped by this shop on our way back. They had just put the ham-filled paninis on the counter, fresh and warm. I hope I wrote the name correctly. It was a star, a five-star. I recommend the place with lots of love to my hungry fellow travelers.🤩🙏

21/09/2025: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We sat down with good intentions based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the kitchen had some problems that they couldn't fix. So, after an hour of waiting, for which the restaurant is obviously not responsible, we had to ask for bread that hadn't been brought, and the table light was dim. Subsequently, they informed us of the kitchen problem and completely cancelled the dish. We waited even longer... only to be served two flavorless entrees. Our biggest disappointment was that, having a small child, it was difficult to make him wait so long, and in the end, he practically ate bread! The glass of wine we had ordered was added to my receipt, but it was never brought to us. They finally asked if they could offer us a liqueur, but after almost two hours, we declined because we were exhausted from our stay. The staff was numerous, but they were wandering around without anything. Overall, a bad experience.

24/01/2026: The place looks promising from the outside, and I admit it has great potential. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered, the rooms were filled with kitchen odors. A classic problem when there's insufficient ventilation. The cleanliness is excellent, the bathrooms were clean and equipped with changing tables. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fast. We ordered pizzas; they were good, but not excellent. I'd say the price was excellent. A plate of fries, two pizzas, a beer, and a bottle of water were €18 each. I'm giving it 3 stars only because of the odors in the room, but I think it's a temporary issue and I hope it's resolved soon. I'd recommend the place; we'll be back.

08/03/2026: We wanted to celebrate an evening with friends, but we had to wait over an hour for a simple pizza after the waiter told us the pizzas were coming out. Never again!!!

24/09/2025: Terrible and uninterested service. They did not have a printed Pizza menu nor a Wine card and we were referred to a QR code to see the full menu. Unfortunetely, we did not have a smartphone with working data with us but the male waiter could not care less. He rudely said it was our problem that we could not access the internet menu via QR code. So the four of us left.

17/09/2025: I absolutely recommend the food, the staff are very kind and knowledgeable, and the wines are excellent. We were very happy.
