06/11/2025: It was 11:00 a.m., and there were only a few croissants left. I had made a point of asking for them separately, but that didn't happen, forgetting the priority of those at the table. I was served at my table with a mocking air about my request for the remaining croissants. The waitress was exuberant and not very witty.

15/03/2026: A bit of a mixed bag, this hotel has its drawbacks. The room was great, clearly recently renovated, but the finishing touches need improvement: a missing wall light and a tangle of exposed electrical wires. On the plus side, the room was large and had a beautiful view, but the soundproofing was a bit poor; you could hear the street noise quite clearly. The bathroom was adequate, but there was limescale everywhere; apparently, they weren't familiar with using white vinegar. And the grout wasn't doing its job. The breakfast room was very nice, but again, some finishing touches were needed. The breakfast was decent, nothing more for a 4-star hotel. Another plus was its proximity to the train station, the bus stop for the airport, and Ortigia, the tourist heart of Syracuse.

02/11/2025: I went here since I thought it was the same place as the 5* place around the corner with the same name, but it sure isn't. This pizza was horrendous. I hadn't eaten a proper meal the whole day so I was hungry and anxious for this, but after a slice the only taste I had was fat, slimy cheese and I couldn't get rid of the taste either. I ate more slices, trying to give it a real chance and see if I could find any good in it. It couldn't. I never leave reviews on restaurants and I really didn't want to now either, but I have to warn others about this place. Don't buy pizzas from here. I was so hungry, but I couldn't stomach more than half of it, the rest went into the trash bin, still hungry. Way too much cheese and it all tasted and felt like rubber. Worst pizza I've had in many years. Get better.

02/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this trattoria last night and I have to say it was a fantastic experience! The owner was super kind and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. Sebastiano's service was impeccable, with attention to detail and a genuine smile. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying it!!! 03/08/2025: Not far from Portopalo di Capo Passero and about 5 km from Isola delle Correnti and Carratois beach, this charming B&B is nestled in a large private garden. Rosa and Giuseppe, the owners, take care of everything with dedication, professionalism, and love. The property offers separate bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms with ground-floor windows, making it convenient for those with limited mobility. All rooms include a color TV, refrigerator with two bottles of water included, ceiling fan, and air conditioning. The bathrooms are equipped with every comfort, including showers, toilets, bidets, sinks, and hairdryers. The taps produce slightly salty, non-potable water. The mattresses are a bit too "orthopedic," and those unaccustomed to sleeping on hard surfaces may find it difficult. Bed linens and towels are provided, changed every three days or upon request. Breakfast, included in the stay, is served outside in the garden under a pleasant canopy, complete with pastries, hot and cold drinks, and savory dishes, all personally prepared by Rosa. The quiet, fenced garden is locked at night with a gate (keys are provided). Parking spaces for five cars are also available in the garden, covered by free beach tarps, which are not always easy to find. The garden also features clotheslines for guest use, which are very convenient and useful for beachgoers who want to dry wet laundry. For those seeking safety, tranquility, and comfort, this B&B is the ideal place.

24/02/2026: I must admit that my rating is influenced by my expectations (I'd heard about it on TV), which were largely met. Everything was excellent! Top-notch pastries. Fast service. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. In addition to the essential cannoli, I recommend trying the ricotta-filled brioche and, weather permitting, the almond soup (a kind of hot chocolate). Highly recommended! 👍

06/02/2026: It is a Must to visit at the city of Noto. I ve read many reviews before and it fulfills my expectations. The icecreams are very refreshing especially in a hot summer day. We didnt have to wait a lot and service was fast. I would recommend you to try granita with brioche.
