15/04/2024: Unthinkable! They served me americano made with INSTANT coffe. It smelled and tasted awful, very salty like made on sea water. I returned right away and asked what is this? They were nice and smiling ladies but treated me like I never drink coffe in my life. I pointed at coffe machine and one lady told another to make one more americano. It was great. Yes I'm not local but this never happened to me anywhere in Italy. I asked them second time, was this instant coffe? They just looked down on the floor and couldn't say a word. I normally don't write reviews but here I have to. Even in the most touristic places in Ortigia they wouldn't treat tourists like that. So this surprises me, a nice place like that, looking local and not living of tourist. This is next level shameless. Please don't do it to anybody again.

09/06/2024: I had dinner this evening at the ARETUSEA grill, thanks to Maria and her owner, very kind people. We ate very well with abundant dishes. REPORT VERY INTERESTING PRICE QUALITY. THANKS AGAIN.

05/05/2024: Siamo stati qui a cena il 26-04-24 e ci dispiace leggere che qualche recensore non si sia trovato bene perché possiamo dire che, a partire dall’accoglienza dei titolari, a tutto il resto, ci hanno fatto sentire in famiglia. Il locale è grande ed hanno svariate sale di cui due esterne per l’estate. Abbiamo mangiato una tagliata di vitello con rucola e abbondante parmigiano, un hamburger, una porzione di patatine, birra bionda media alla spina e un’acqua per un totale di € 43,00. Tutto buono e indiscutibile per cui non possiamo far altro che consigliare assolutamente questo locale. Ciao da Roby e Lucy da Sant'Anastasia (Napoli)

04/09/2024: Excellent! It's September 4th and it's 10.15pm so probably the workload isn't such as to complicate the service, which was excellent for us. Nice and fast guys. We ordered the Grantonio sandwich, which is served with french fries and delicious mayonnaise, but above all it is made with top quality ingredients. Soft, tasty and perfectly cooked meat. Crispy bacon and a truly unique balance of flavors. Last but not least, the lightness of a dish that could sometimes be heavy, but in this case absolutely not. Well done.

01/09/2024: Today my wife and I went to this place for lunch with the air conditioning off, lights in the room off, little courtesy from the owner and also for two, a plate of marinara pasta, 4 gills of roasted octopus, a plate of grilled vegetables, I paid 44 euros miserable portions and to my complaints to the owner I was told that the treatment was one of the best in the area I strongly advise against eating in this place terrible experience today 01/09/24

29/08/2024: We got two exceptional pizzas. Very good and crunchy dough, not excessively seasoned but not too little either. The location outside is very beautiful, inside there is perhaps a little something to improve. If I can give some advice, it's better to put tablecloths or coasters because if you bring me any cold drink it will start to condense and the drops will go on the table, which, not having the tablecloth, remains wet. For the rest everything is excellent.

21/07/2024: Experience to forget. Having arrived on site (having booked) after several kilometers and in scorching heat we were given the good news by the reception that the reservation does not exist “we are overbooked” But how?? I paid and you have no room? I had to look for other accommodation elsewhere. No comment. Ps: the refund was received after 8 days Disaster.

To the cleaners.... To the breakfast room... Excellent quality international breakfast, with daily local treats, ample free parking

24/02/2024: Disorganized and zero punctuality. Pizzas booked for 8.15pm, arriving at the pizzeria they ask to wait 10 minutes to give priority to family pizzas and pizzas for home delivery. We waited over an hour for the pizzas to be delivered.
