28/04/2025: Eravamo di passaggio e abbiamo scelto quasi a caso questo locale. È stata una piacevolissima scoperta: i primi superlativi e abbondanti, i secondi deliziosi con pesce freschissimo! E per finire la gentilezza del gestore e di tutto il suo staff! Bravi bravi bravi!

It was a very pleasant discovery: the first courses were superlative and abundant, the second courses were delicious with very fresh fish! And finally the kindness of the manager and all his staff! 02/05/2025: We stopped for lunch while we were riding around on the motorbike, we had a great time, the lady at the counter was kind and the food was very tasty and had honest portions.. but after I tried their peanut gianduia ice cream 🥜... WWOOWW other than Don Peppuzzo!.. I hope to be able to come back and taste it... Price of the cone €2 but the cone is a little smaller than average

22/03/2025: Carusi...7 euros sandwich with chicken breast, cheese, a bunch of lettuce, 4 olives and onion...8 euros a tray of chicken breast with cheese to go...total 15 euros?!?!?!? Either I'm not up to date or I missed something...this kiosk has been erased from my thoughts forever. Reply to your reply: Don't worry...there won't be any need, go ahead and sleep soundly.😉

13/06/2025: A NIGHTMARE! We arrived late in the evening and it was one of the few hotels with a room available and shortly after we understood why! Changing rooms was not possible and by now late at night there was no alternative. Unfortunately we decided to stay! Room with mold everywhere, unbearable smell (we had to ask for incense - see photo), wet mattress due to humidity, plaster burst by humidity badly repainted to cover the stains, small window cut in the wall, bathroom with encrustations! I don't think it's a room that can be given to customers, the customers' health and the hotel's reputation are the ones who lose out (I don't know what the other rooms were like - there's hardly anything worse than this one!) As said, despite the more than understandable kindness of the hotel employees who listened to our complaints, we can only define the experience as TERRIBLE!

13/03/2025: Considering the reviews, there are good and worse rooms. We had a good room on the 1st floor. Simple but clean and the shower is really excellent. Heater worked in winter too. Breakfast indeed simple but sufficient. Located in ZTL zone but hotel ensures permission. Free parking, however, requires an 8-minute walk across the bridge and can be a challenge in the morning and evening.

07/01/2025: Consigliati da degli amici e chiamiamo e ci dicono che ci sono due fasce di prenotazione: 8.30 o 22.00. optiamo per la prima fascia anche se presto ma non appena arriviamo ci accorgiamo che in molti arrivavano alle 21, 21.15 . Per le pizze abbiamo mangiato in differita, perché due di noi hanno ricevuto le pizze mezz'ora dopo giustificando la cosa con "problemi nella comanda". A fine cena davanti alla cassa una signora riccia molto poco empatica ci dà il conto, chiediamo due caffè e ci ristampano il conto aggiungendo 2.40 di caffè (su un conto di quasi 200 euro) però vediamo che ai clienti successivi offrono amaro e caffè post conto. Unico consiglio accertatevi di rientrare nella fascia di clienti di Serie A prima di prenotare.

15/12/2024: Una cena meravigliosa consigliata dallo chef Maurizio Massa alla scoperta dei piatti locali, cucinati in modo sublime. Verdure funghi arancini di patate frittate caponate un tripudio di esperienze culinarie indimenticabili culminate in un finale di ravioli con il sanapo stupendi. E cosa dire dei dolci, se non meraviglie? In 18 anni di assidua frequentazione della Sicilia non mi era mai capitato di mangiare così bene, accompagnato da un servizio inappuntabile e dalla cortesia e simpatia di tutto lo staff. Eccezionale!

06/04/2025: Great place, the best pizzeria in Avola! The dough and ingredients are of the highest quality, you can choose a pizza from the menu or create your own! The staff speaks mainly Italian, but they are also fluent in English. Prices very affordable.

22/03/2025: Cold evening despite being the first day of spring. You're away from home, you find an open place, you rush in. A slightly rustic atmosphere, from the 80s/90s, but warm and welcoming. Little space inside, but the manager immediately set up a table for us. The desserts were delicious. Two breakfast pieces, which although taken at 10pm, still denoted freshness. In short, Caffè Sicilia was a very pleasant surprise on a cold (7 degrees) spring evening.

04/01/2025: Too bad about the environment, however good pizza with good service and very clean and tidy bathrooms.

08/06/2025: we were invited by friends, we ate really well. Very fresh mussels and fish caught that morning, ingredients of immense quality. Too bad about the midges that were a bit of a nuisance on the tables last night.

26/05/2025: After years of walking trails in the Cavagrande area, I had never been in, but yesterday it was finally time for lunch at Za Gina, guys I can't tell you and I give them my best compliments, I haven't eaten so tastefully for a long time, savouring the flavours of the past, a taste and smell like Grandma's, a series of starters, one better than the other, the first course Pasta di casa alla Norma, crazy there, an immense pleasure, the smell of the sauce, the frying of the aubergines, it was at Estasty, truly everything of excellent Sicilian home cooking. Kind and friendly staff, clean environment, friendly and very kind owners, all near the infamous Canyon of Cavagrande del Cassibile...so walk and eat with taste at Aunt Gina's.

27/04/2025: I gelati che abbiamo preso erano freschi, leggeri e genuini oltre che saporiti, e sembravano proprio preparati con ingredienti autentici e di qualità

18/04/2025: No - uno puede visitar Sicilia sin probar uno de sus platos culinarios - cannoli sicilianos y los encontramos en Nuova Dolceria's. Una cáscara de pastelería crujiente con relleno de ricota batida realmente cremosa, superó las expectativas. Aparte de los cannoli su exhibición es el cielo pasticceria con el mostrador de helado al lado. Cada vez que pasábamos siempre estaba ocupado y si hubiéramos tenido tiempo habríamos vuelto para probar su rango aún más.
