Hotel Ristorante Jonio

21/10/2025: An excellent hotel, beautifully maintained on the outside and with free private parking. It's located right on the seafront and a short distance from Noto, the Vendicari nature reserve. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely balcony with a table overlooking the sea. The exterior of the property is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms aren't brand new, but they have everything you need. The room is spacious and has plenty of counter space. The breakfast is good, and both the owners and Giovanni, the breakfast guy, are very friendly.
12/10/2025: Would go back here in a heartbeat! We visited in late September/early October- weather was beautiful- sand beach was across the street. Great breakfast included, and the staff were so warm and attentive. Free gated parking on the property. A beautiful hotel with delightful Sicilian pottery, displays, and photographs decorating the seating areas and hallways. Lots of interesting spaces inside and outside the hotel. A nice restaurant within walking from the hotel. A memorable time here❤️

05/08/2025: How can they expect that a charge a no show fee of Euro160 is accepted, taking a deposit with no deposit clauses nor protection. Unacceptable, they are not worth my money and time.
03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso.
Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

06/11/2025: Extremely disappointed, especially considering the excellent reviews! The meat was full of gristle, and the frying was good. The plate itself was nice, but everything was frozen, as were the fries. All this for over 25 euros a portion, including a bottle of water and half a liter of wine for four people.
23/10/2025: We followed the reviews, it's a great find. Home cooking, very tasty and generous. The value for money is more than excellent. Here they don't charge you for cutlery and bread. And what's more, we were treated to little touches after the bill. We'll be back.

23/11/2025: Lovely quiet spot with delicious food. The carbonara with pistachio cream is one of the best dishes I've had in Sicily.
22/11/2025: We spontaneously ended up at the Osteria and received a very warm welcome. The Bazan duo is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home.
The menu changes every four months and offers fresh, regional dishes that are expertly prepared.
The restaurant is simply but stylishly furnished.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

23/10/2025: A place you absolutely must try, Giuseppe and his team will make you feel at home and then believe me the food is better than in some "restaurants" in Ortigia.
22/10/2025: A beautiful place, but a terrible experience. Poor food, poor-quality salmon, served hot and with overcooked rice. All the dishes tasted like they'd been burned in the pan. The Cantonese rice was gray. The staff was born tired and pissed off. Since we went for dinner and the price was higher, we expected adequate quality. 100 euros wasted.

17/10/2025: Varied menu with meat, seafood, and very good pizza. I really enjoyed the garlic, oil, and chili pepper pizza and the calamari.
Spacious and quiet atmosphere.
04/10/2025: The focaccia was absolutely amazing, and the mixed fried fish platter is among the best I have ever tasted.
My Angus beef tagliata was also truly special.
The portions are more than generous!
We will definitely be back!

10/10/2025: The reviews are more than up to date, the atmosphere is pleasant, the brioche with the granita is spectacular, the brioche is fresh, the granita is very good, and in the end, one of the best I've tasted in Ortigia, I highly recommend it!

09/11/2025: The pizza was too hard and crunchy, making it difficult to cut due to its texture. It was probably overcooked or the dough wasn't well-balanced. Overall, the taste wasn't bad, but the texture made it difficult to eat.
09/11/2025: Look no further, we've found THE incredible pizzeria in Syracuse.
Simple and friendly, the wood-fired pizzas are made with fresh and varied ingredients. Yet the prices are the lowest I've seen.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
I highly recommend it.

Trattoria La Mia Sicilia

17/11/2025: We visited this charming trattoria on Sunday, right in the historic center, at the foot of the magnificent Basilica of San Sebastiano. We were welcomed directly by the chef and owner of the trattoria. He was friendly and courteous, and even humorous in his approach. The food was fresh, local, from the fresh pasta to the meat, and the portions were generous.
The service was kind and professional; in short, we were treated very well. The prices were average, the food excellent, and the service impeccable. We will definitely be back! Recommended.
