17/02/2026: Overall good food, decent quality and service. I strongly recommend to try the "zuppa di cozze", mussels were delicious and the sauce deserved to be cleaned up with the bread; go "scarpetta"! First dishes are tasty and portions are generous: "pasta alla norma" and "tagliatelle con pistacchio e gamberi" are worth! Finally we had "polpo e calamari alla Luciana", that wasn't of my taste, but I was also almost full so I may be biased, anyway the taste of onions was too strong and did cover the seafood! We did try the house white wine, it wasn't bad but I could sense that it was a bit water-ish; last thing is that we had to wait almost 1h before getting the starter, but after that first and second dishes came one after the other! I would recommend the place is you are not in a hurry and you're very hungry and looking for good traditional Sicilian food :)

16/11/2025: Our experience at this nearly Michelin-starred restaurant unfortunately fell far short of expectations. The tagliolini with mushrooms was the main disappointment: completely flavorless, without aroma or character, a dish that left no impression on the palate. To make matters worse, the service was decidedly poor: little attention to customer service, long wait times, and service that didn't even begin to reflect the restaurant's aspirations. For a restaurant that strives for excellence, we expected much more. This experience, however, was truly disappointing.

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, they spoke little English, but the staff was very welcoming nonetheless. Incredibly delicious pasta (ravioli with ragù ibleo)! There was no mention of dessert on the menu, but I was informed at the table. Unfortunately, the cannoli were sold out, but the alternative chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was also fantastic. The schnapps was complimentary. The only downside: the espresso came in a plastic cup. I recommend Gusto Ibleo to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent food.

03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso. Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea. For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by. We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

28/10/2025: I was surprised by a simple local cafe and their bad behavior! My husband and I ordered bruschetta as a starter (4 pieces of cheese on bread and a small shrimp. Since it was not on the menu, the waiter took advantage and added 20 euros to our bill. 1 piece of bruschetta was estimated at 5 euros :) It was dishonest because we could not imagine that they would charge us the price of almost 2 portions of carbonara for the starter. This is not our first time in Sicily and we were very surprised that we would be charged 20 euros for a 5 euro starter. Be careful if you go there and always clarify the price so that you do not get such a surprise and do not feel cheated. The service staff took advantage of the fact that we were not local! I was surprised by a simple local bar and their terrible behavior! My husband and I ordered a bruschetta as an appetizer (4 slices of cheese on bread and a shrimp). 02/01/2026: We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation! Somehow, this was the best time! It was full in a few minutes! We got a table so we could have lunch! We chose excellently prepared swordfish! It was all local guests! The service was nice, friendly, familiar! I'm glad we found them!

23/12/2025: A truly excellent restaurant just minutes from Noto. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and showcase Sicilian tradition with a touch of creativity. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. Attentive and friendly service, the staff are helpful and always smiling. Excellent value for money. A highly recommended stop for anyone visiting the area who wants to eat well in a pleasant atmosphere. We had pizza as an appetizer and ravioli as a first course, truly delicious. We'll definitely be back!

06/11/2025: Extremely disappointed, especially considering the excellent reviews! The meat was full of gristle, and the frying was good. The plate itself was nice, but everything was frozen, as were the fries. All this for over 25 euros a portion, including a bottle of water and half a liter of wine for four people.

23/10/2025: We followed the reviews, it's a great find. Home cooking, very tasty and generous. The value for money is more than excellent. Here they don't charge you for cutlery and bread. And what's more, we were treated to little touches after the bill. We'll be back.
