The restaurant isn't very visible because it's located in a very narrow alley. Everything is delicious, the pizzas are excellent, and the salads are flavorful! The service is top-notch, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

The pizza was delicious. You could choose between Neapolitan and Sicilian style. There was a good selection, including some unique varieties. We were recommended fries with cheese as a starter, which were tasty. Seating is only available inside, and the restaurant could use a little more attention to detail in terms of ambiance and decor. Unfortunately, my Aperol Spritz didn't have an orange slice in it. I personally notice such details. The pizza is definitely worth trying. Maybe even get some to go and eat it by the sea. ☺️

Excellent pizzeria in Syracuse! The pizzas are delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the service is top-notch: very friendly and attentive waiters. I highly recommend this place!

The option to choose the type of dough and flour is definitely a winning choice to meet everyone's tastes. The service and hospitality of Salvatore deserve special thanks. Kindness and courtesy are not always a given. I recommend it and will definitely return. The quality of the ingredients is very good.

The restaurant is located far down a narrow alley. The waiter was not listening well, even though there were no other guests there, and gave me olives on my pizza even though I specifically asked not to have them. Poor selection of wine by the glass (there is only one red to choose from). The pizza was tasty

17/10/2025: Friendly neighborhood pizzeria. We were served quickly and the pizzas were very good. The salad as an appetizer: a choice of 5 ingredients is a great idea. I recommend it if you want to avoid the touristy restaurants.

La Capannina da gino

21/03/2026: Sicily is famous not only for its stunning sea and dreamy landscapes, but also for its extraordinary cuisine. During summer vacations, it's almost natural to search for the best restaurants to sample typical local dishes. After trying several places in Noto, Ortigia, Marzamemi, and other towns, I never imagined that my absolute favorite would be La Capannina. It's a family-run trattoria, passed down from generation to generation, where passion and dedication are passed down with it. Every dish we tasted was simply exceptional: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a cuisine that truly captivates. Even the pizza is amazing, so much so that it can compete with those of the best Neapolitan pizza makers. And then the cannoli... without a doubt the best I've ever had in Sicily: light, delicate, delicious, or perhaps indescribable, you have to try it!! A place worth the trip. I would return to Sicily just to eat at this extraordinary trattoria again.
16/10/2025: Excellent pizza. Light and generously topped. Quality ingredients, fair prices. We'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes too.
