22/04/2025: The most expensive store calamari I have ever eaten in my life. 1kg 29 euros. + 150 g of prawn salad for 12 euros. That's 41 euros. In the squid, during cooking, I discovered an unpleasant bonus: sand. These are scammers. They see a tourist and cheat all the way. Don't go to them. Buy better in store. Without sand and 4 times cheaper.

20/04/2025: Consigliato da amici. Tavoli e sedie spartani, tutto in plastica, tovagliato di carta, ma si sa, è una pescheria e non un ristorante. Pesce sicuramente fresco ma quantità e prezzi da ristorante di fascia medio-alta. Ovviamente questo stride con l’ambiente e con il servizio, lento e non particolarmente gentile. Le portate nulla di particolare. Insomma, a parte il pesce fresco (ci mancherebbe che non lo fosse in una pescheria) è un posto che, a mio avviso, potrebbe benissimo restare pescheria; la trasformazione in un ristorante richiede preparazione, competenza e adeguamento della location. Ovviamente non ci tornerò e non lo consiglierò

16/04/2025: The place is welcoming and very popular: despite not being particularly spacious inside, the space is well managed and well lit. I didn't consume anything other than a delicious hot tea (the chocolate one, which I recommend!), because like many others I only went there to drink something and play some board games after 10pm. Basically, in my eyes, Hmora is a place where the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere meets the classic lively atmosphere of a Saturday night.

06/06/2025: Short stay in Noto, looking for a place to eat, a local gentleman recommended "Il buco" a restaurant with tables outside, I ate a very good caponata and a chickpea soup just as good, (not even a peel!) an excellent appetizer with their fried food, panelle with bruschetta, fried cheese, tagliatelle with pistachio and almond pesto, all very good, the background music was amazing!!!!

06/06/2025: We strongly advise against it. Mixed fried food for €15 that was nothing mixed (squid rings and defrosted prawns with very little taste), grilled swordfish with the swordfish that was just one, very thin and dry, and the same two prawns, always for €15. The children had pasta, the little one had 4 paccheri counted on a plate, not enough even for him... A ridiculous imitation of "nouvelle cuisine", my daughter's bolognese was disgusting just to look at, poor... the sauce seemed to be made with ketchup and the spaghetti was a single block... Are you even capable of cooking two spaghetti?! We were the first to sit at the table and the bathrooms were already dirty, we should have already understood from there how things would go. The only memorable thing was the name of the beer that made me laugh (see photo) and the painting (the restaurant is ideally located, in front of the church of San Salvatore)... But otherwise pitiful, I don't understand people who give 5 stars to a restaurant like that. Moreover recommended by a local, who visibly has no taste (or is a friend of the restaurateur). A tourist trap and that's it. February 2025 - I now see the manager's comment (from 2024). Our visit dates back to 2019. If you no longer have the beer in the photo and you no longer make the bolognese (they were spaghetti with tomato sauce, I'm not sure if there was meat because they were so unwatchable) I can't know. I don't know if you have changed management, if you now clean the bathrooms or if the food is better. But six years ago we ate in your restaurant, the comments made refer to that period. I'm sorry but I stand by it. Other Internet users will be able to check if things have changed and, if so, they will leave a praiseworthy review.

07/04/2025: Great experience! I recommend this beach to everyone as we had a really good time. We came here to spend a relaxing Sunday at the seaside and we were really happy. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Well-equipped beach with bathrooms, equipped with a key to be asked at the counter, and clean and very large free changing rooms. Free showers, just ask for a token at the counter, they don't last long but just enough for a rinse, let's not forget that the water doesn't go to waste, and the jet is very powerful and large. Equipped bar, with various possibilities, including first courses, second courses and sandwiches. We took two sandwiches, two cokes and a portion of chips. The fresh fruit salad is also delicious. Prices in line with other beaches. Particularly important note is the presence of a chair suitable for disabled people! That day, in fact, two boys from the facility took a disabled gentleman into the sea to swim. What can I say, 0 architectural barriers! Wide walkway, space between umbrellas. The water, which many define as 'dirty', is instead crystalline, clear and clean water. We saw the fish with our naked eyes, without the aid of a mask, coming towards us on the surface of the water. What people call 'dirt' is the NATURAL presence of algae. The whole area is like this and it is normal for it to be like this and, consequently, you also smell sulphur, it is always algae. Just go beyond the shore and further on there are much fewer. What can I say, congratulations to the boys for what they achieved!!! We have beautiful memories and will definitely be happy to return!!!

17/10/2024: Mon mari et moi même avons déjà dégusté des centaines de granités dans toute l Italie et toute la Sicile mais comme celle ci jamais . Ce bar est tenu par une famille qui continue à perpétuer la recette de leur grand mère ils font la granite avec des fruits frais que l on retrouve en petits morceaux pour certains parfums. Nous avons pris comme parfums figues et amandes . Ce fut un extrême moment de bonheur, des granités succulentes et en plus à un prix dérisoire.

03/05/2025: At lunch time we ate really well and at a fair price. The service was quite fast, a small error on the bill meaning they were separate accounts but we didn't have time to mention it, it was remedied instantly. If I go back to Augusta I will go there again

11/05/2025: Il posto e’ molto bello e raffinato, i menu’ sono stati spettacolari con portate a base di carciofi e primi e secondi molto particolari. Nonostante io non sia un gran forchetta ho adorato tutti i piatti! Ricette mah banali e anche il menù della degustazione dei vini ottima! Camerieri cortesi, professionali e con grande capacità di presentare le varie portate. Un posto scelto per caso ma che mi ha colpito tantissimo! Spero di tornarci presto. Assolutamente consigliato

20/05/2025: Really good sandwiches but really disappointing cutting board and with a crazy price ... I took the dop for 17 euros and there were wanting to exaggerate little more than 100gr of products ... 4 precise pieces of cheese (invaluable parmesan) accompanied by a jam 3 of salami and 4 of raw ham / bresaola. The sandwiches are also quite expensive but worth the price
