Bar Parisien Di Gianino Jean In Augusta

We came to Augusta for the holidays and stumbled upon this Parisian-style bar with an Italian twist. What a surprise! We loved it; Jean Joseph and his wife are lovely, the Spritz is delicious, and the welcome is very warm. A real gem! ❤️🇮🇹🤌🏻

After trying several granitas, I came across this bar. The best granita in Augusta, in my opinion, creamy and filled with freshly chopped fruit. The place is small but cozy, and the staff are very friendly and professional.

My grandfather was born in this town. While visiting we stopped in this shop for cafe and cornetto. Local gentlemen conversated outside. We were greeted warmly upon entering and were offered a table to the side of the shop. They were incredibly kind and welcoming knowing my family came from their town through enjoyable conversation we shared. We ordered an assortment of pastry. All delicious and fresh as well as cappuccino. They were even kind enough to make chocolate milk for our children. This was an emotional visit to the town of Augusta and deeply meaningful. We were treated with such care and kindness by everyone we crossed paths with while here. I am considering moving here to live out my retirement years. Where my grandfather's story began, possibly mine will end. Thank you to this wonderful bar, the people and town of Augusta. ❤️
