01/10/2024: Ristorante piccolino posizionato nella parte più esterna di Ortigia, dietro il mercato. Abbiamo prenotato tramite The Fork con uno sconto strabiliante e tutto è andato benissimo. Innanzi tutto il servizio: due ragazze di cui una, la responsabile, professionale ed attenta, l'altra molto giovane a cui si perdona un po' di ansia nel gestire il tavolo :-) Le pietanze ottime. Soprattutto il tonno, per qualità e tecnica di cottura: eccezionale. Sull'arancino un appunto: era ancora freddo all'interno. Conto perfetto CONSIGLIATISSIMO

08/02/2025: The place is very well looked after but little attention is paid to the customer especially when he says he has allergies. After we ordered and explained the "shellfish allergy" problem, we were assured that everything would be prepared without even contamination, when it was time to eat we found a shrimp in the frying, so I think that people's lives should not be messed with and that these things should not be taken lightly.

17/10/2024: Mon mari et moi même avons déjà dégusté des centaines de granités dans toute l Italie et toute la Sicile mais comme celle ci jamais . Ce bar est tenu par une famille qui continue à perpétuer la recette de leur grand mère ils font la granite avec des fruits frais que l on retrouve en petits morceaux pour certains parfums. Nous avons pris comme parfums figues et amandes . Ce fut un extrême moment de bonheur, des granités succulentes et en plus à un prix dérisoire.

17/10/2024: Old-fashioned bar, the best granita eaten in Sicily, absolutely natural made with fresh fruit by a very kind lady. I haven't found it this good even in the most renowned places

25/11/2024: A wonderful Sicilian meal in a relaxed and calm restaurant. The service was wxceptional and all our fish doshes and pastas were tasty and well made. Local wine was served and orive was reasonable. A perfect meal in the most charming old town!

20/11/2024: Definitely the least pretentious restaurant in Syracuse with a renowned search for the authenticity of Sicilian cuisine. Great knowledge of wine in general and local wines in particular. Friendly, smiling and complicit service. Discreet rather jazzy musical atmosphere. Avoid the terrace because of the crowds of tourists. Excellent spoken French. In short, not to be missed!

07/01/2025: Ormai è diventata nostra tradizione passare l'ultimo dell'anno in compagnia di questi signori che ti fanno sentire in famiglia. Le prelibatezze sono perfettamente preparate dallo chef Mirko, la cortesia della deliziosa compagna e dei "ragazzi" del servizio è perfetta. La mise en place impeccabile. Bravi sempre tutti.

30/12/2024: Ho scelto questo ristorante quasi per casualità e vicinanza all’albergo ed è risultato molto al di sopra delle aspettative. Piatti della tradizione cucinati benissimo con materie prime di qualità, pesce fresco, servizio attento e gentile, bambini ben accetti, carta dei vini ampia e referenziata. Prezzo nella norma.

19/10/2024: Group dinner but even though I was the only vegan I was offered a really good pumpkin soup, pan-fried chard with dried tomato and the inevitable caponata! Considering the average restaurant, I appreciated that they didn't offer the usual grilled vegetables as a starter! The talent is there, I recommend insisting on vegetables! 😁 Pizza just as good!

01/01/2025: New years disaster - It is new years and we had ordered a table here some days before and we where sat outside and it was cold even though we arrived and there where still tables open on the inside we had to be outside. We ordered starters and main courses and a bottle of red wine thad did not arrive until we had finished our starters and we already had told to the waiters twice that we are missing our wine. Then our “medium” tagliata (beef) came that everyone on the table had ordered and it was just bad, overcooked and tough. We the left more then half of the food on our plate and waited for more then 30 minutes for some one to come and check on us and in the end we decided we wanted to leave and not eat anything else there so we went to pay our 190 Euro bill when they finally asked if everything was okey and we explained what was wrong and they took 20 euros off. But we left the restaurant hungry on New Year’s Eve at 22:30 and we were not able to eat anywhere else.
