01/06/2025: Personale fantastico e gentile! Il cappuccino più buono che io abbia mai bevuto.. Accompagnato da un croissant da leccarsi i baffi! Mio marito non può scordarsi il caffè 😂 Più che due colazioni, sono state due esperienze… Vivissimi complimenti!

31/05/2025: Am Weg zur Burg liegt dieses kleine Kaffee mit einer Vielzahl von Kaffeesorten in verschiedensten Röstungen. Ich habe die eigene Röstung gewählt und einen hervorragenden Kaffee erhalten. Dazu ein Cornetto con Crema. Eigentümer/Kellner sehr freundlich, sprechen gut Englisch. Am Weg zur Burg jedenfalls einen Abstecher wert.

10/09/2025: We had lunch. The first courses were excellent in quality and the quantity was so generous, so much so that we couldn't even evaluate the second courses. The service was impeccable.

29/08/2025: We went here for breakfast. It was a beautiful place, and it was very early in the morning, so there was no wait. Delicious granita, fresh brioche, and very friendly and helpful staff.

14/07/2025: A delicious restaurant/pizzeria not far from Syracuse, with a large veranda and indoor parking, as well as a garden suitable for receptions. The menu we sampled on the three consecutive evenings we visited included a cone of mixed fried fish, a trio of citrus gratin pasta, almond parfait, pizzolo pasta with eggplant, swordfish caponata, mussels with pepper, and pistachio parfait, along with zibibbo grapes and sorbet.

11/07/2025: A great place with ample parking, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a beautiful garden overlooking Mount Etna. A large playground for children. We went there twice during our stay – the service was friendly (Angelo was excellent). We enjoyed the meat dishes, as well as the fish and seafood, and the local pizza (the chefs loved them). And finally, the desserts… Everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I definitely recommend it.

19/07/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday, the second shift, and I don't recommend the fixed fish menu. 1. The appetizer was poor and flavorless. 2. The first courses, mainly the seafood risotto, were watery and in some parts almost tasted plain. 3. The second courses, the fried fish and mussels were good. The calamari with its sauce was COLD and tasteless. I don't know what went on in the kitchen, but I'd heard good things about it. If so, I strongly advise against it.

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.

26/08/2025: A rotisserie and bar discovered by chance on the recommendation of locals I met on the beach. For those looking for good food at a fair price, this is the place to be. One of the best Sicilian culinary experiences, perfect for those who want to avoid the tourist traps of Ortigia.

02/09/2025: Fantastic experience! We went to Locanda Del Collegio without a reservation and had a wonderful meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service is prompt and efficient. The place is very charming and has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the background music is very pleasant. The menu is extensive and, despite its seafood focus, also includes meat dishes. The portions are generous, but still enjoyable.

27/07/2025: Delicious food, quick service, and a lovely atmosphere (a table in the middle of the street!), not romantic but definitely folkloristic! It's certainly not the most comfortable place, but... worth a try.

22/04/2025: At Giuseppe and Alessandra you always eat well, whether sitting down for dinner or at Delivery. The higher than average price (food) justifies a service, a choice of raw materials, an attention proportionate to what is proposed. A painstaking and valid alternative to Catania for those who live between Lentini and Carlentini.

20/03/2025: Restaurant run by kids, but with a certain level of menu. Traditional dishes, but also refined ones (e.g. gnocchi with pumpkin cream, clams and black truffle). Good location, even with outdoor space, and fast and friendly service. I only came across it for lunch on weekdays, so I don't know if it's better to book, if in doubt I would. Parking without problems. Advised.

11/08/2025: Excellent cannoli, and a cheap ice cream brioche considering its size and quality. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: A cone on Saturday at midnight. Lemon and strawberry. More like foamy detergent than ice cream, it slid off the cone, and all things considered, it was better for half of it to fall on the floor than to end up in your stomach... single portions are expensive, but that's another story...

18/08/2025: We had lunch today at this wonderful place! The ingredients were excellent, everything was prepared and cooked with passion. The veal tartar was exquisite. The bread deserves its place too! The pasta with truffles was wonderful. The desserts and ice cream made by them were delicious! The wine list is worth its weight in gold. The prices are fair. Da Andrea is a guarantee.

21/08/2025: A lovely bar offering everything from sweet to savory. We tried the granita with brioche col tuppo, which was truly excellent. The waiters were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The prices are low and fair, and the place is very cute!
