A lovely local trattoria on the main street of Noto, which makes for a great outdoor dining experience and people watching combination. We ordered the caponata which was fresh and delicious, a variety of different pastas which were also full of flavour, and the beef steak, which was perfectly cooked, if a little small portion size wise. Would definitely recommend.

Always busy and queues from 8pm and rightly so. I wouldn’t order the tuna again as I like mine pink (still tasted nice) but the mussel pasta and octopus were the stars of the show. Lava cake for dessert was great too. Decent service. We would come back again if there weren’t so many other places to try. Enjoy!

A fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and very attentive. I would definitely eat there again. The location in front of the church is also excellent. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it.

The food was excellent , especially the appetizers marinated anchovy and the caponata ! The pasta dishes were fresh and tasty and the portions just right ! The service was great with our waiter being both friendly and efficient . Overall a very nice introduction to dining in Noto .

14/06/2026: I'm on vacation in Ortigia and I've tried this place twice for lunch. The food is exceptional, and the staff is professional and very warm. I highly recommend the fried fish and lemon sorbet; I think they're the best I've had so far.
08/06/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B owners, we booked dinner at Tavernetta da Piero, taking the opportunity to visit Ortigia. At the entrance, a blackboard displays the daily specials, which we obviously prefer to the à la carte menu, as it always guarantees fresh ingredients. Rigatoni with tuna ragù, swordfish rolls, grilled red tuna, cannoli... Everything fresh, delicious in its simplicity and flavors, with generous portions. The wine list is quite extensive. Since the restaurant is medium-sized, reservations are required to avoid long waits. Attentive service, and the bill was average—even a little less given the area—and what we ordered. Highly recommended!

11/04/2026: In the heart of Ortigia, we discovered a simple and authentic restaurant, perfectly capable of conveying true tradition. The appetizers are generous, and the fresh fish first courses are truly excellent in quality and substance. The attentive service and the absolutely fair bill capped off a thoroughly satisfying experience.
