Discovered by chance but forever in my heart. Spectacular pani cunzatu, quality ingredients and well-filled, any sandwich you choose costs €5. The base of each sandwich is extra virgin olive oil, salt, and oregano. You choose the additional ingredients. I tried a few and I must say I was truly happy with every single one. I recommend the ones I tried. I had a Shuruq with roast beef and caramelized onion, an Fuori binario with mortadella, mozzarella, datterini tomatoes, and pistachio pesto, a Viddanu with tuna, onion, and cherry tomatoes, and a Ciauru ri mari with swordfish and caponata. There's plenty of seating outside, and the owners are truly kind and make you feel right at home. If you're looking for a quick lunch without spending too much, this place is highly recommended. It's located in Piazza Umberto I in Avola (SR), a large, quiet square. A brilliant idea, in my opinion, and the result was highly appreciated. I've already been back and will definitely go back as soon as I come to Sicily again.

This shop has the best paninis! The tuna and orange sandwich is especially delicious. You can sit and eat there, or you can also take the paninis with you. Highly recommended in Avola!
