16/03/2026: I've known Spadaro bar all my life; it was number one for its rotisserie and ice cream. Unfortunately, it's no longer a mediocre rotisserie. Ditto the focaccia. The staff behind the counter is always arguing. Extremely slow service; even with a reservation, I waited almost an hour. A total disappointment, though.

15/10/2025: Extremely expensive, be warned. Two non-alcoholic aperitifs, served in two tiny glasses, and a "stand" with banal peanuts, pretzels, and crisps, came to a whopping 13 euros—something I'd pay around 8 euros for elsewhere. In Calabria, for 13 euros after an aperitif, you can easily skip the dinner they serve you. Be careful not to push it too far!

11/11/2025: We had dinner by chance last night at this small but very welcoming restaurant run by the owners, and I must say we felt right at home. The food was delicious, from the seafood linguine to the excellent vegetable caponata, the freshest swordfish, and the fried calamari—all delicious, home-cooked food. The hostess was wonderful and very kind, as was her daughter. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: Sleazy to say the least, I had ice cream and then I had a croissant from some day ago, it tasted rotten and listen, even the cones were disgusting. I could have felt sick, I do not recommend this place to anyone.

05/01/2026: A historic and ancient restaurant, it is said that the then King of Italy specially dined there (hence the name "La Napoletana" in his honor). It had been closed for months for reasons unknown to the public. In truth, it had recently fallen into serious disrepair.

29/01/2026: My wife and I stopped by and stumbled upon this trattoria. What a find! The starters were truly top-notch. Even our 6-month-old daughter eagerly ate our dishes. Highly recommended.

11/03/2026: The pizza dough is delicious, light, and soft, cooked to perfection, and the ingredients are top-quality, offering an excellent value. As soon as you walk in, you immediately notice the brightness and cleanliness of the place, but what really captures you is Palma's amazing kindness. She's professional, kind, and always smiling (which I think is crucial when interacting with customers!). I also recommend trying the focaccia, which will leave you speechless. I want to sincerely compliment the team that works at this pizzeria, from those who toil behind the scenes to those who put their face forward and always welcome customers with enthusiasm and kindness!

11/03/2026: After just three slices of focaccia, it felt like I'd eaten twice as much: the dough isn't very airy and leaves a heavy feeling in the stomach that lingers throughout the digestion. The ingredients are of decent quality, but they're not very distinctive on the palate, except for the traditional one with tuma. A very nice location and a normal wait (we booked around 6 PM to pick up at 8 PM and had to wait about ten minutes), but for other flavors of focaccia, it's best to go elsewhere. Maybe in the future we'll try some rustico and pizza.

08/02/2026: My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week last summer. The hotel itself is fine, but the problem was that on one of our last days, I hadn't brought my AirPods in their case to the beach; they were on a cabinet among other things. When we got back, they were gone! We knew the cleaning staff came every day and immediately wondered what was going on and if the cleaners were the only ones entering our room. I was 100% sure I'd put them on the cabinet and they were gone, so I went to the front desk and told them my AirPods had probably been taken by the cleaning lady. She acted nonchalantly as if this wasn't a big deal. There was a very strange atmosphere, as if she knew about it. She said she'd check and came back with my AirPods. She told me they'd probably accidentally fallen onto the cleaning cart. Of all the items, the expensive earbuds were the only ones that "fell off the table into the cart." Do you really believe that? No "sorry for the inconvenience, ma'am," or anything like that. She acted as if it was perfectly normal, so I think she simply knew about it. I told her I found it very strange, but she brushed it off with a comment like, "That kind of thing happens." It's unacceptable that someone tried to steal my AirPods and got away with it by claiming they were taken by accident! Absolutely ridiculous. And all this while we'd paid €10 for the cleaning lady that morning. We were here from August 4th to 11th of last year and forgot to write a review about it right away, but it still bothered me so much that I'm doing it now.

28/01/2026: This hotel is definitely outdated, this isn’t an issue for myself but I’ll be for others. Service is great and staff are very helpful. The bar attached was frequently visited for coffee and lunch. A minutes walk to both the beach and cable car which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend but if the aesthetics through you off then maybe not the hotel for you.

11/08/2025: Historic pizzeria with a variety of doughs. Excellent main courses and fondues. Finish with an exceptional chocolate liqueur. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: I've been going there for many years, and honestly, the pizza is delicious. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff are also remarkable.
