03/10/2025: Shame Shame Shame Run away from this fake resort. They say it's a Lipari resort, but it's actually on Vulcano. Thank goodness my stubbornness made me do some research the day before. I got my money back from eDream because I was right. Fake

24/08/2025: It's a 4-star resort, but only potentially. It feels like an unfinished structure. There's no shuttle to take you from the port. The rooms are nice, although the fixtures and fittings could use a makeover. There's also little privacy. Breakfast is excellent.

20/11/2025: Wow, all the bad reviews are true. Tiny portions, if you have to eat there, only take the pasta or fish salad. The meatball skewer and the burrata salad were tiny.

11/11/2025: The most central bar on the Island and part of the hotel next door. They do the free breakfast for guests staying there. The kitchen opens at 7pm and has a reasonable menu and okay prices. It seems to be open most of the day, the staff are friendly. Not exactly a good atmosphere but great views. Its like a hub for exploration of the island.

09/11/2025: This review is dedicated to a historic establishment on the Riviera Nord in Messina, once the flagship of the city's pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and café, but sadly no longer enjoying its former glory. ​🌟 The Glorious Past ​It tells of a golden age, led by the historic pastry chef owner, whose experience and passion raised the quality level to unparalleled heights. His products were renowned, a symbol of Messina excellence. His passing, unfortunately, marked the beginning of a downward spiral. ​📉 The Decline and Current Management ​The family succession failed to maintain the standard, apparently leading to a crisis and the subsequent takeover of management by a third party. Today, the establishment is in a state of disrepair, stripped of its former splendor. ​Ambience and Decor: The interior shows the weight of the years. The lack of renovation is evident, and a general tiredness can be felt throughout. The Glass Counter: Perhaps the most painful aspect is the old glass counter, so worn and opaque that the pastries inside fail to shine, hiding the beauty and freshness of the products. 👍 The Bright Side: Quality and Effort Despite the structural issues, it's important to emphasize one fundamental aspect: the intrinsic quality of the products remains good, and the credit goes entirely to the staff. ​The employees work hard and passionately, preparing desserts, ice creams, and specialties that still express the flavor of tradition and craftsmanship. It's a real shame that so much effort and deliciousness are penalized by such a dated setting. ​This place is a clear example of how excellent craftsmanship and ingredients can clash with the neglect of a renovation. ​If you're looking for quality products, it's still worth a visit. ​If you're looking for a modern and impeccable environment, you'll be disappointed. ​ ​

26/10/2025: The service table was awful , we were there more than half an hour no one take our orders they just passing by and say we are arriving. We went without eating 🤷🏻‍♀️

13/10/2025: Super bar in a more than convenient location facing the harbor! The food and beverages are carefully prepared, tasty, and flavorful. A lovely, well-kept, clean, and cheerful location. The staff are a plus; the owner, Salvatore, saved me in a necessary emergency! Highly recommended, and above all, thank you.

08/10/2025: As many others have said, it's scandalous what they offer you and what you pay! My sandwich was dry, no oil or condiments, it had one layer of meat and iceberg lettuce for 8 euro!!!! Never again

08/05/2025: Vino a través de este lugar en nuestro primer día en Taormina para el almuerzo. Tuvimos un gran almuerzo en una bonita terraza. La pizza era la mejor que tuvimos en Taormina y una gran carbonara también. Terminé viniendo aquí para almorzar dos de los cuatro días aquí. Buena relación calidad-precio y lo recomendaría.

04/05/2025: Lindo comedor con vista, pero eso es todo. La comida es promedio, pero sorprendentemente el vino fue diluido. Pedimos una jarra de vino tinto de la casa y nos quedamos atónitos cuando lo probamos y obviamente era medio agua. Nunca he tenido esto en ningún restaurante.

30/09/2025: Focaccia costs 7, prices are average, and the location is beautiful, being close to the sea and with a space for walking. What I'm not happy with is the excessive crowds and the barely adequate service.

29/10/2025: An absolute gem of a place to eat , drink & watch the world go by !! Been here several times now on our week in Taormina & it’s our fav place !!! Food & drink ( very generous with their measures ) no matter what time of the day very reasonable prices, warm & friendly service/staff … just a real feel good place to socialise !!! Defo stop in , u won’t be disappointed!!!

28/09/2025: I ate pizza, dry and dry dough with peeled tomatoes in my opinion and put tomato as a base, maybe other products will be better but I really don't think the pizza

10/09/2025: Very welcoming place. We dined in the spacious back room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was really good and plentiful.

10/11/2025: My family and I went to this lovely restaurant yesterday. The staff was very welcoming, and we were immediately seated and made to feel at ease. The lady who took our orders was very nice and friendly. Among all the dishes, we mutually agreed to have a house appetizer each, which was very generous and full of different things, starting with cured meats, cheeses, fritters, meatballs, two types of parmigiana, etc. The place was very clean and easy to get to. I really recommend it. We'll be back soon, excellent value for money.
