25/05/2024: Masino Arena a name a guarantee! His focaccia in Messina is legend! Obviously you have to wait a bit but the time spent is well repaid by the quality and goodness of his focaccia and not only that... all the baked goods are delicious there is a wide choice (his panettoni are exceptional, absolutely worth trying at Christmas ). Upon entering you feel welcomed and the staff is courteous, helpful and attentive to the customer. The owners always at work are wonderful people! Highly recommended!

27/04/2024: I don't question the quality. But how do you manage that every time either the anchovies are missing or there is no capricciosa. Could it be that a place that has had all those years behind it has counted its products?!? Masino you retire if you get lost in poverty. Another note, "their" Arena beer is made in Catania and a small one costs €4, inconceivable.

07/07/2024: Great place to eat, owner very helpful, genuine traditional food! Good service and was helpful with my celiac daughter to prepare what she wanted to eat . A must go every time we are around. Great value for money!

21/08/2024: I went with my family for the first time and I'm sure we won't go back again. As a strategy, they advise you on what to do to get ahead of others. The end result is a good SEASONED BREAD but at a VERY HIGH COST, practically like robbers. I'll give you an example: cooked ham placed in a 500g donut, approximately 3 slices €6. The olives, which when divided in half will cost about 3, €4. All served on a paper tablecloth, plastic tables and nothing more.

19/08/2024: We went to this pizzeria on holiday in August 2024. Appetizers with bruschetta, and normal chips and frankfurters, and also the various pizzas offered, all good. And the managers were also friendly and kind.

18/08/2024: We went last night with friends for the first time. We ordered some meat aperitifs, the place was full and we waited a few more minutes... but since it's Saturday we can do it. Really high quality meat openers! Messina chops and sausage are mouth-watering, tender meat, accompanied by a side dish of french fries and pan pizza. Pistachio and mortadella pizza, my favorite! well-leavened, light dough and high quality mortadella and pistachio. To finish we had some very good fruit cocktails. Super friendly waiters and always with a smile. The owner is very kind and tries to please the children in every way. We had fun with karaoke and entertainment.

28/08/2024: Place set in a wonderful and panoramic context. Unfortunately we waited 110 minutes for the pizzas, even though we had arrived much earlier than other tables. We were told that the order for a portion of french fries, which was to be shared between four people, blocked the order for our pizzas. After many years of excellent results this time the service left something to be desired. As regards the quality of the pizzas, in addition to the menu having changed with the lack of the pistachio line, there was too much mozzarella as well as ingredients such as lemon peels, which were too strong and made the pizza unappetizing. The management of this business will probably have changed, but overall I would recommend it. Sometimes something can also go wrong, I hope my review is still appreciated and useful for future customers.

25/07/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima serata alla conchiglia. Il titolare Stefano e la figlia Luna sono stati pazienti e molto molto garbati nel consigliarci i piatti cucinati e preparati con gran cura dallo chef Gennaro. Cucina sublime. Primi buonissimi e originali e una stupenda tartare di ricciola su base di pesche con fragole e mirtilli come guarnizione. Consigliatissimo

12/05/2024: Small Chinese restaurant in the city center. The menu served is not very varied compared to other similar places. You can eat at a fixed price or à la carte. Cover charge, drinks and refreshments are paid separately.

09/08/2024: Dopo 10 anni di esperienze positive e nonostante il cibo buono, quest’anno i prezzi risultano spropositati, 40€ solo degustazioni antipasti, il bagno fatiscente, e un prezzo totale di 541€ che come mai prima d’ora non è stato arrotondato dovendo pagare così 26 cent a testa per la prima volta nella mia vita..Delusione totale dopo essere stati storicamente trattati diversamente.Consigliamo alla cassa una persona con più attitudine alla fidelizzazione.26 cent…per favore..

04/08/2024: This is the worst bar in Italy I have ever eaten at. I ordered lasagne and carbonara, and I must say that it was impossible to eat it. In the evening, there were a lot of mosquitoes and the smell of exhaust fumes from passing scooters. Failure. I do not recommend. Stuffy, disgusting bar.

09/11/2023: Questa recensione è per chi cerca lavoro, se stai pensando di lasciare il tuo curriculum in questo posto o ti offrono un lavoro qui NON FARLO! Ho lavorato qui per 5 mesi e posso dire che è stato uno dei lavori peggiori che abbia mai fatto. 26€ al giorno (che sono aumentati a 30€ dopo aver fatto storie quando ho detto a loro che era troppo poco) per fare DOPPI TURNI, a volte più lunghi a volte più brevi. In questo posto facevo TUTTO, pulizie, cameriere, lavapiatti e aiuto cuoco. Sì, tutto per soli 30€ al giorno. È importante dire che gli abusi verbali non sono mancati. Ma ovviamente per loro tutto è giustificato perché mi riportavano a casa dopo ogni turno... Adesso il mio consiglio per chi va a mangiare: in questo posto non c'è nessuna igiene, in cucina NESSUNO PORTA LA CUFFIA e NON SI LAVANO MAI LE MANI (tranne la signora María che è una brava persona), anche ho visto TOPI sul balcone. Voglio anche dire che il personale di questo posto PARLA MALE di quasi tutti i clienti. Se sei vegetariano non avrai tante opzioni. Se state cercando dove mangiare, o dove lavorare, c'è un bar molto vicino a questo posto, il mio consiglio è di non mettere mai un piedi all'Osteria Da Italiano.

04/08/2024: I discovered this place purely by chance, but I can say that it has become one of my absolute favourites. I would start with the very warm welcome from Leo, the master pizza chef, and all the other collaborators... And then follows the exceptional flavor of the panzerotti (I get them strictly fried), large, full and at a very fair price. For those with a sweet tooth, you can ask for panzerotti stuffed as desired, taking inspiration from pizzas or whatever you want.. Dispassionate advice.. Try it! P. S. In addition to panzerotti, they do pizzas, catering, everything! P. P. S. If you don't want takeaway, there is also a room in the back.
