27/10/2025: A quick stop for a family lunch. Every dish tastes exquisite. The stunning windows offer a fantastic view during lunch, but the sun shines in with a vengeance. You might want to choose a more secluded spot to avoid getting burned on those beautiful, sunny afternoons. Kudos to the establishment.

02/10/2025: CAUTION ⚠️ We booked through Check24. We arrived in the mountains in the dark. The place was closed, and it hadn't been closed since yesterday. The only people who greeted us were two not-so-friendly dogs. We barely made it into the car. If this is a rip-off, it's this. One star is too many.

17/11/2025: The coffee and biscuits are excellent, but the real pleasure lies in the family atmosphere. A quiet break to chat and exchange a cheerful and friendly joke with a friendly barista. It's a village bar where you come and go, greeting everyone with a nod or a warm smile, all of which are reciprocated.

25/09/2025: A true gem in the lower part of the village, just a few meters from the sea and the pebble beach. The food is a delight for the taste buds; you'll never want to leave the table. All the freshest local fish is served with kindness by the owner Aldo's sons, who are also extremely hospitable and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. The wine list is varied, featuring Sicilian products to suit all budgets. If you're near the village, stop here for an experience you won't soon forget.

13/09/2025: On the recommendation of a local, we opted for this restaurant... a beautiful, simply furnished room that adds warmth to the atmosphere, and a small outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful service... Tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes, shrimp, and eggplant (very delicate), a good seafood appetizer, and a grilled dish (delicious sea bass), shrimp, swordfish roll, and grilled vegetables... We were very satisfied!

15/08/2025: This is the best focaccia I've had in a long time. As far as I know, it's perfect and freshly prepared. I'll definitely go back. Great price. 1 kg of traditional focaccia costs €12. I was incredibly happy, it was so delicious.

11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

10/11/2025: Thank God it was so crowded in Taormina with heavy traffic so we ended up in this great place. It is the best restaurant I've visited during my 10-day visit in Sicily. You can have a very good taste of traditional cuisine and taste one of many wines they offer. The atmosphere in the yard is just magical

03/11/2025: A very special restaurant, we were there on November 1st, we sat in the cave, it was still decorated for Halloween, we ate very well, excellent quality food.

04/09/2025: I was looking for an excellent rotisserie for dinner and found this little gem. The rotisserie's signature dish is undoubtedly the classic Messina pidone with cheese and vegetables (curly endive, I think). The dough was soft, just the right amount of thin, and not greasy—practically perfect. The typical Messina focaccia was also excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the service was quick. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The food smelled inviting. I didn't get to try the grilled chicken, but judging by the look and the large number of orders, I think it was excellent and worth a try. Maybe next time. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this place for a takeout meal. See you next time. Roberto

02/09/2025: Every year my brother and I order chicken and savoury pies, and every time we have to wait a long time to pick them up. The staff is a bit cold. However, the chicken and savoury pies are good.

25/08/2025: I'm sorry that it took me this long to review Casa Pellegrino. We have been here in the BNB as well as restaurant. I recommend it to everyone. Very lovely staff, they always are generous and the food is fantastic. They grow most of their produce and make their own cakes/bread. . Martina and Filippo are like family now. They remember what you like and make everything special. For kids, little playground and toys in the space. Bathrooms always very clean. As a BNB guest can say that the place was spotless and the rooms were always perfect.

18/08/2025: A wonderful experience in a unique place next to the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Aiuto. The food is excellent, with authentic, home-made food. I recommend it.

19/08/2025: Simply divine. They offer superb desserts and granitas. Try the typical Messina dessert, the black and white one, which they prepare here according to tradition.

14/10/2025: The hotel is showing its age, and the rooms could benefit from some new furnishings. The bed was wobbly, squeaked terribly, and the mattress was completely worn out. When the electricity is on (the key must be plugged into the room), it hums loudly. We turned it off at night so we could sleep. However, the location right on the beach is very good, and loungers and umbrellas are free to use. We couldn't/didn't want to use the hotel restaurant because 95% of the menu consists of fish/seafood dishes.

08/01/2026: A place furnished with care and style; we came on a Friday night with live music playing. It's popular with young people, but it's suitable for all ages. The aperitif is an excellent choice, and the bartenders serve excellent cocktails. A decent selection of wines is available. The only flaw: the bathroom door faces the hallway.

05/01/2026: TOP pizza, excellent quality, clean and tidy environment, impeccable and discreet service. A longer review wouldn't add anything to what's already been written. Only by trying it can you fully appreciate the experience. The heart of the town with its characteristic landscape is just steps away. It's important to note that the restaurant is accessible via a private service elevator that takes you to the restaurant floor, which is otherwise accessed by a flight of stairs.

30/11/2025: I'm giving one star because it's the only thing that can be given less. The food was of extremely low quality and poorly cooked. My wife and I were sick all night, and I'll never go back. I realized this immediately when I saw there were two tables of four people on a Saturday night. Spending €100 for two people to also feel sick is beyond words.

19/10/2025: I went for lunch for my mother's birthday and we chose the house menu. Everything was delicious and the fish was incredibly fresh. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to their needs. The location is simple and elegant, we'll definitely be back!
