14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

10/10/2025: I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and it was a spectacular experience! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service impeccable. Nino was simply wonderful: kind, attentive, and always smiling. The food was delicious, every dish was carefully crafted and truly bursting with flavor. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a special experience.

08/01/2025: Very welcoming bar with a wide range of sweet and savory products. I had breakfast with my family in this bar for a few days during the Christmas period and I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the goodness of the mini sandwiches, croissants and the aroma of the coffee.

19/06/2025: Bakery that bakes only in the morning, as far as bread is concerned. Instead, for ready-to-eat products, rustici as they call them in Messina or cartocciate in Catania, you can always find them. Ready-made products you can find: Pitoni (stuffed calzone) fried or baked Stuffed baked calzones Pizzette Mozzarella in carrozza Arancini with ragù, speck and pistachio and others. In addition, in the evening they also make classic pizzas or in pala. The pizzas are very good, normal size, abundant toppings, normal prices. You can book them for takeaway by calling them and they are punctual at the agreed time for collection. There is no parking in front of the place but you can use the large space on the other side of the street where there is the distributor. Don't look at the opening hours on Google Maps, they are never respected. It is difficult to find them open before 6 pm in the afternoon.

08/06/2025: On the National Road in front of the petrol station, a nice and kind lady who also speaks fluent German welcomes customers in a small but nice and clean place where they sell what they produce on site: very fragrant and genuine bread, a variety of cakes and biscuits, rustici and pizzas.

28/08/2025: We had a wonderful lunch as soon as we arrived in Stromboli at Trattoria ai Gechi! The food was really good (we tried a couple of appetizers and the fresh pasta) and the view was spectacular. The service was pleasant, efficient, and above all welcoming. We really enjoyed it!

26/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic and unforgettable experience! Trattoria Ai Gechi is simply fantastic. The atmosphere is unique, with friendly geckos keeping you company. Nino, the owner, and his team are very kind and helpful, making you feel at home. The food is excellent: generous seafood appetizers, flavorful pasta alla Stromboliana, and fresh fish grilled to perfection. Everything is authentic and flavorful, using traditional Sicilian recipes. The fish, in particular, is very good; it's personally selected by Nino (a fisherman and sea dog 😉). The price is more than fair for the quality. Reservations are mandatory!

03/09/2025: A wonderful experience. We were on vacation for 15 days, from Calabria to Sicily. We ate there 5 evenings. Everything was fresh, delicious, pizza, and a sweet sandwich. Everything was delicious, clean. The staff was excellent, everyone was happy. The fresh meat, homemade, compliments.

05/10/2025: It used to be such a nice place - not anymore! The lady was very rude and started shouting that we wanted to sit at an empty table without asking. Also, they used to serve very nice limoncello spritz but now they refused to serve drinks only. It all could have been explained in a nice way but being rude is unacceptable. Reply to the owners reply - that’s how it should have been sorted but sadly it wasn’t - we have not encountered more rude service in the whole of Sicily. We tried to be friendly and polite but the first words we heard from her were: No! Leave now! If you don’t like tourists, don’t be in this business.

05/10/2025: Heard about this place so went to check it out while in Taormina. Was really disappointed by hospitality of the staff and the quality of the food.

18/09/2025: Great stay at Hotel Arcangelo. Close to the center of Marina di Salina, the port and shops are easily accessible. The room was perfect, large, with a beautiful bathroom. The pool is very welcome after a day exploring the island. The view is magnificent. The service, the breakfast, everything was perfect! Many thanks to all! I recommend it, and I won't hesitate to come back! Alice

21/09/2025: What can I say...a wonderful lunch experience...paccheri with swordfish and linguine all'Eolo with calamari, olives, and cherry tomatoes, cooked to perfection. Exquisite staff and a restaurant with a stunning location...fair prices...I definitely recommend it.

17/09/2025: Really enjoyed our visit here. The food was very good, especially the swordfish pasta which was tasty and definitely a solid 10/10. The views from the restaurant made the meal even nicer, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Service was friendly and overall we had a lovely time. A great spot for a nice meal out.

26/07/2025: La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, vicina al centro di Santa Marina con il relativo porto, ma al tempo stesso riservata e immersa nel contesto naturale dell’isola. Le camere sono pulite e ben ristrutturate, con il tipico stile eoliano. La vista è semplicemente splendida, con l’isola di Lipari che si staglia davanti agli occhi degli ospiti di questo hotel. La colazione è anche ottima e, a pochi metri, sorge la piscina dell’hotel, da cui si ha un panorama bellissimo. Il valore aggiunto di questa struttura è Paolo, che, una volta arrivati, ci ha fornito una mappa dell’isola, indicandoci le attività, i ristoranti e i bar migliori dell’isola. Abbiamo seguito i suoi consigli e siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti. Quando e se torneremo a Salina, pernotteremo sicuramente qui.

26/07/2025: The property is strategically located, close to the center of Santa Marina and its port, yet secluded in the heart of Salina's natural setting. The rooms are clean and the view is splendid, with the sea and the island of Lipari stretching out before guests' eyes. The same breathtaking view can be enjoyed from the hotel's beautiful pool. Breakfast is also excellent, with the waiters attentive to guests' needs. The added value of the property is Paolo, who, upon arrival, provided us with a map of the island, pointing out the best activities, restaurants, and bars on the island. We followed his advice and were always satisfied. When and if we return to Salina, we will definitely stay here.

04/10/2025: The restaurant is well-located, with a pleasant view and a tidy atmosphere. The menu is varied and the portions are generous. Overall, the dishes are decent, some better than others. The service is courteous, and the wait times are reasonable. Overall, a positive experience, but without any particular surprises.

They offer home delivery and beach delivery, but you can also pick up your pizzas directly from the store, which is conveniently located with easy parking. The staff is young but well-trained, and they're all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
