15/01/2025: A pleasant discovery, as soon as you enter it seems like you're going back in time. Crumbly cannoli with a unique flavour, always fresh almond paste and the nougat is truly the best for me. A stone's throw from the easily accessible port. Truly positive experience.

15/09/2024: The only equipped bathroom in Zappardino with a lifeguard. Good food, ok prices, music sometimes a little too loud and of questionable taste but after all, tastes are tastes! Very kind staff. Beautiful sunsets...but I doubt it's thanks to the bathroom 😄

01/04/2025: I put one star on the food only because you can't leave it blank. The food left something to be desired. Nothing fresh, bread definitely from the day before. Reheated pasta, and terrible service. 16 euros of aperitif dinner, I left everything, it was literally disgusting and not even the dignity of not charging me since I left both the cocktail which was undrinkable and the food... Vacuum-packed sandwiches from the supermarket are better.

30/11/2024: Eravamo già stati in questo piccolo "bistrot" in estate e ci siamo tornati la settimana scorsa perché il cibo che avevamo mangiato era stato di ottima qualità, il pesce fresco, la mano dello chef era stata sapiente, anche se qualcosa non rientrava nel mio gusto, e la persona che ci servì al tavolo fu attento e gentile. Questa volta però nonostante la gestione sia la stessa il risultato è cambiato. Il titolo della mia recensione racchiude la nostra esperienza. Il bello: apparentemente a prima vista il locale sembra essere curato, colorato, il tipico bistrot vagamente francese. A differenza del nome però i prezzi. E se in un locale del genere i prezzi sono più alti rispetto ai ristoranti ti aspetti qualcosa, o molto, di più! Il brutto : sedersi a tavola e trovare i tumbler colorati ma col colore consumato dai lavaggi, il che vuol dire che la qualità del bicchiere è molto scarsa e il colore viene via anche con l'acqua. E faceva anche cattivo odore. Ovviamente ho bevuto l'acqua nel calice del vino che era stato pulito con l'aceto e si sentiva. Arriviamo al cattivo : la persona che ci ha servito al tavolo anche titolare del locale. Io chiedo un vino bianco, non ricordo se Vermentino o Grillo, e chiedo cortesemente se l'anno di produzione è 2023. Il titolare dai capelli lunghi, che tocca continuamente con le mani, mi risponde che è del 2022 e comunque posso assaggiarlo per vedere se buono. All'assaggio il vino risulta gradevole e io accetto la bottiglia ma il titolare non ha accettato che io avessi chiesto l'anno di produzione. Da questo momento in poi questa persona inizia a vantarsi, parlando con altri clienti ma facendosi sentire da tutti, di essere Somelier, di avere conoscenza profonda dei vini, ostenta il tastevin, un grande libro sui vitigni, critica la qualità del vino che ho io ho scelto e che lui stesso offre nella carta dei vini, mi dice che la prossima volta se mi farò consigliare da lui mi farà prpvare un vino di Malvasia. La cucina: Gli antipasti davvero buoni e ben preparati, come ad esempio la polpetta di pesce avvolta nella cipolla stufata su crema di piselli e l'arancino al mero di seppia. Il primo piatto con burrata e gamberi che ha preso il mio compagno un piatto di pasta discreto ma i gamberetti senza sapore. Ahimè non posso dire lo stesso del pesce (luvaro) che mi è arrivato al piatto già "spinato", secco, condito con olio e troppo sale e che non sono riuscita a mangiare sia per le spine, sia per la consistenza, sia perché sinceramente non mi sembrava affatto "pescato del giorno". La mia convinzione è che in cucina non ci sia la stessa attenzione per le diverse portate. Ho chiesto della frutta :ananas fresco con del limone, proprio per pulire il palato e mi sono state servite le fette di ananas con tutto il gambo centrale. Per concludere sempre il "simpatico" titolare-maitre-somelier mi ha voluto far assaggiare della Malvasia che ha presentato come diversa dalke solite e particolare. Sinceramente a mio gusto questa benedetta Malvasia doveva essere servita fredda (10 - 12gradi almeno) e forse avrei potuto gradirla. I prezzi davvero alti per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Concludo affermando che non esiste modo migliore per non far tornare più i clienti! Il confronto e eventuali critiche dovrebbero servire a migliorarsi. Questo posto potrebbe davvero essere un locale con una bella atmosfera e ottenere un buon livello. Lo chef ha una buona mano. Ovviamente non ritorneremo e non lo consiglio.

15/02/2025: When I'm in the area I stop in, today 14 February 25 for example I had a cream croissant and a coffee, I had to have breakfast, both the croissant and the coffee were excellent. Kind and friendly staff, keep it up, well done 🥰🥰🥰🥰

04/02/2025: Excellent coffee, very kind and customer-focused staff. Really nice and clean environment. I stop by every Tuesday for my coffee break and never a complaint. Highly recommended place. Among other things, in an area where there is parking and you can stop easily without problems

05/01/2025: The environment is enveloping, comfortable, relaxing..... it is a place with a different connotation from the usual culinary tour in the city of Milazzo, a valid alternative to fish... It ranges between a cuisine that is influenced by a regional Apulian expression and a regional Sicilian contamination that represents the territories well (also something further north on the menu) I found it to be a genuine and sincere experience A delicious rabbit salad (a little too much oil), very tasty and soft The Bordeaux cheek with very amazing purée, melting and with a full flavour Generous and tasty platters of cured meats, typical aubergine rolls on burrata cream and crunchy bread The first courses include paccheri with white ragù, gnocchi with pistachio and burrata, rigatone with carbonara and tagliolini with cocoa and white rabbit ragù, which will satisfy all palates, with various textures and flavours, full I would say... Excellent and delicate steamed cod and ash potatoes Homemade desserts, good but not very good, something more classic tiramisu (version with pandoro, given the period I think...,) then panna cotta and berry cheesecake... Right price quality
