Excellent fish restaurant, not only the dessert is good

Terrible service... non-existent menu... Dishes presented verbally and moreover never arrived, food was brought to us at their convenience, variety of dishes non-existent, in addition to the fish menu they were not ready for a menu of meat or much less vegetarian... Single first course minimum quantity of 4 precise packets, second course poor, appetizer mainly composed of pickles and presented all combined in a single dish... Upon request for a second course of meat we were presented with a skewer of chops with french fries, shameful not to even have boiled or baked potatoes... Terrible children's menu, thin and fried cutlet, probably in old oil because it looked black... We were verbally offered some dishes that suited them, I repeat, while we noticed that at the next table the dishes were much better and varied compared to the one offered to us... Aren't all customers the same?? Isn't the menu the same for everyone?? But we still paid an excessive amount... I conclude by saying that the value for money is terrible... I strongly advise against it, none of the 16 people at the table were satisfied... never again!!

A nice restaurant, overlooking the charming Ganzirri Lake. The day of our visit was sunny, fact which added value to the whole experience. As for the restaurant, it operates in a clean and well taken-care of environment, offers tasty dishes at reasonable prices. I had the Spaghetti alle vongole, which was tasty but beneath my expectations because the seashells in it were really only shells rather than actual content. It was well cooked but the quality of shells was poor for such a popular dish. I have ordered the same dish in numerous restaurants all over Sicily and Calabria because it's my favourite so, please, allow me to have a comparison standard. The lemon sorbet I ordered was just exquisite!

Sur les recommandations de notre hôte nous nous rendons dans ce restaurant pour y déguster notamment du poisson. Le plat de poissons grillés fut un délice ainsi que les spaghettis alla vongholone. Le vin proposé aussi était très bon bien que un peu cher(12€ le verre) mais bien rempli. Nos 2 serveuses étaient charmantes et très professionnelles. C’est une bonne adresse à Messine. Alors vous n’avez plus qu’à y aller.

Tutto perfetto. Location accogliente e gradevole, menu e carta dei vini abbastanza variegati, piatti cucinati bene, cliente curato e servito. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un consiglio (non richiesto) ai proprietari: a meno di 10 metri dai tavoli all’esterno, sulla strada, collocati dei bidoni della spazzatura (sicuramente non del locale) che emanavano odori nauseabondi che infastidivano un secondo prima dell’ingresso al ristorante. Per il resto, esperienza perfetta. Ritorneremo.
