15/10/2025: The pizza was very good, and the service was excellent. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. The location doesn't do justice to everything else. The owners and staff were very kind.

05/10/2025: We ordered nine pizzas. The pizzas arrived late – as an apology, we were given a Nutella calzone. The pizzas were all good. But not amazing. One of the pizzas was delivered incorrectly. But because of the long wait, we didn't complain.

21/09/2025: This restaurant represents a historic landmark for the city of Acireale. Forty years ago, it was the first sandwich shop to open in this area, introducing a more open gastronomic culture, one that embraced the new trends that defined the generations of that era—styles and customs that have indelibly marked the worlds of music, film, and fashion, leaving no room for restaurant dining. In our view, this historic business is one that deserves much more consideration, often even more so than its more recent counterparts. The reasons are simple: we primarily focus on the expertise, availability, and skills of our staff, elements that are the foundation of any business where customer relations are essential. The selection of top-quality products, which must never be lacking, is evident in all the dishes served, from starters like chips to pinsa (a type of pasta), and other dishes. The clean, bright, and distinctive setting creates a pleasant atmosphere and is ideal for a quiet, intimate dinner, but also perfect for small groups, with the small outdoor deck and the indoor dining room that also features a mezzanine with additional seating. We highly recommend this restaurant because there's nothing spectacular about it, and our vision always reflects simplicity, as our readers will have noticed. Although it's a simple sandwich shop, it has the experience to manage the dining room, kitchen, payments, reservations, delivery service, and all the other services of the establishment, which are always under control. This can only lead to positive results, especially considering the politeness and courtesy evident in discussions between staff and customers, which already contributed to much of our absolutely positive rating and represent a recommendation for a normal, yet perfect, experience in our beloved Acireale. 07/11/2025: An unexpected business lunch. The service was impeccable, always prompt and attentive, even on a short-staffed day. The food speaks for itself: incredibly fresh and plentiful fish. Super well-established!

10/10/2025: I give 5 stars for the food - the service and the atmosphere, if there were 10 stars I would give all ten, I am a regular customer every day, the quality is excellent, not to mention the granitas which are the best, the hot table is excellent and then all the guys are quite good from Davide, to Giacomo the best of the pastry and cakes up to the waiters, there is a family welcome so I recommend the Blue bar in Piazza Europa to everyone ❤️

15/10/2025: Good, almost decent, but not exceptional. It offers reasonably priced meals, but the quality of the menu is similar to that of a good company cafeteria. The deli is well-made. The pastries are decidedly good. The staff is quite courteous and professional. The indoor dining room has terrible acoustics: it's too noisy. The outdoor spaces are better, especially in the summer, when they make a good granita. The availability of parking spaces is definitely a plus: you rarely run out of space.

12/10/2025: Three large breakfasts and two small takeaways: very poor in size, quantity of filling, and quality. However, they know how to charge well. I won't be returning.

10/10/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and plentiful, the price was fair, and above all, the attention paid to celiac disease and contamination was appreciated. Highly recommended.

27/08/2025: The staff were very kind and helpful in answering our questions. The pasta alla norma rolls were divine. The tuna with cherry tomatoes was rich in flavor. Reasonable prices!

25/10/2025: Very pleasant and quaint atmosphere. Excellent service. The burger is excellent. I'm not entirely satisfied with the craft beer; I would have preferred a more full-bodied red. The only flaw: the acoustics are absolutely not suitable for live performances.

09/09/2025: Enjoying the hot food, granita, ice cream, and various pastries in this taste laboratory, which isn't a bar, is an almost unique experience. Paolo uses only high-quality, seasonal ingredients. He combines his father's tradition with his art of reinventing and enriching typical Sicilian products, in addition to the artisanal production of pandoro, panettone, colomba, and various cakes. I would also add the friendliness, politeness, and professionalism of the father and son owners.

25/06/2025: If you want to find the highest quality, you have to go to Bar Doge in Acireale. The zeppole, desserts, hot food, all prepared with top quality ingredients. The owner, Paolo always welcomes you with a smile and manages to entertain customers with joy and spontaneity and an aspect not to be overlooked, you will always find excellent music. I recommend it to everyone

18/05/2025: Good hot food I have to try the granita that I was told was good The owner was kind and available even after hours when they were already closing, but he still let us sit. I'll be back

06/05/2025: If you find yourself in these parts, stop by here... not in the center but not far away... you will find delicious arancini and spring onions (another characteristic but less known food)... 🤤

15/09/2025: TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT...!!!! - Pepata of cheap mussels, smeared with vinegar, oil (I don't know if it's olive oil), and oregano (...but don't you know the version with lemon and black pepper?). Octopus salad that tasted like chewing tire rubber. Overcooked spaghetti with squid ink, tasteless, and missing a single piece of cuttlefish. I won't comment on the single dish of penne with "supermarket pesto" that was swimming in oil...etc. NOT RECOMMENDED
