15/07/2026: We chose "La Solitaria" for our 25th anniversary because we were confident in the quality of its dishes and the freshness of its fish. This was complemented by the great professionalism and helpfulness of Salvo, Vera, and the entire staff, who, with care and attention, accommodated our every wish.
The result was a perfect evening with the splendid setting of the timpa and on a wonderful lawn, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our celebration.

16/07/2026: Gorgeous location, not much to say, friendly staff, but I didn't think the set menu would reach €50 per person, a bit high for the average.
The first courses had too much tomato sauce.
And obviously, the receipt wasn't a tax receipt.
14/07/2026: On our way back from a long ride, we decided to stop at Al Mulino for lunch. It was a fantastic experience. Excellent fish...and fresh. Great staff...great location. I'll definitely be back!

23/07/2026: Casual atmosphere. Offers a nice menu of pizzas and seafood dishes. The pizza is excellent, as are the dishes. The quality/price ratio is among the best on the eastern coast of Sicily. One small drawback: when the place is busy, the wait to get to the restaurant can be a bit long. The staff is friendly.
21/07/2026: The fusilli alla norma with basil had no basil, no ricotta, and no seasoning; they were flavorless. The tuna carbonara was also bad. The pizza was good, and the fried appetizer was good, but overall, we wouldn't return.

29/07/2026: I was there for a birthday... The problem is that the waiters did this job just for the sake of it... They were negative and not even a smile!... The food, well, I've had better but okay, that's okay... the place is very nice... Would I go back? I'm sorry but no.

02/07/2026: Great family owned place with friendly staff, cozy small Italian city atmosphere and delicious food of all kinds. Plenty of sea food dishes, pizzas, sallads and meat. Highly recommend!
21/06/2026: We waited 50 minutes for food that was partly cold. Even the bread basket didn't arrive any faster. We didn't want to wait another 50 minutes for the bill, so we approached the rather uninterested staff ourselves. It was also noisy due to the street traffic.

It’s the first time to visit Sicily and did not know how to speak Italian. The owner and waiter were very nice and helpful. Is willing to talk to us via google translator. Their warm welcoming is much appreciated.
It was surprise to us as there is no menu. Everyone seemed knowledgeable what they will eat for meal. We simply followed what is offered, turned out to be surprisingly good local Sicily seafood. There are more than 13 dishes for a meal, a drink is offered at the end. Such a lovely time here with my hubby and children. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: Superlative seafood dinner, but the real highlight is the hospitality! We dined at this splendid restaurant and were enchanted.
The quality of the seafood is unquestionable, the dishes are fresh and divinely cooked. The atmosphere is magical, and the breathtaking view completes an already perfect picture. However, the real added value of this place is the hospitality.
I could name a few in particular, but the truth is that the entire staff is wonderful. Everyone works with a smile, is super helpful and always attentive, discreetly approaching to make sure nothing is missing. A fantastic experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone!

11/08/2025: Restaurant with a lovely setting and a beautiful view. A simple menu, only in Italian. Access is difficult and only possible by going downstairs. A warm welcome and friendly staff. Delicious food. Total bill was 32 euros, with no details. Price for Pasta Norma: 8 or 9 euros with fresh pasta.

There's a huge variety of toasts, with truly unique combinations...I'll try them all sooner or later! Highly recommended.
08/06/2026: I asked for a toasted sandwich, and only later did the guy at the cashier point out that it was a salad, but out of courtesy he turned the salad into toast. When the person on the other end does everything they can to please the customer, that alone deserves recognition. And if that person is like me, who eats gluten-free and a thousand other things, even more so. We'll be back, both for the kindness and for the toasted sandwiches; they're very good.

11/06/2026: The coffee was good, but I was disappointed by the cannolo, which was almost sour and not very sweet, probably from the previous day.
07/06/2026: We've had breakfast a couple of times and the savoury pastry was always good.
They serve good granita and the portions are quite generous
generous. We particularly enjoyed the fragola granita :)
