I know the place well, and while the experience so far has been positive, my last visit was decidedly disappointing. I had a chocolate and pistachio granita: poorly made, of poor quality, with large chunks of ice inside.
My dad instead had a spinach arancini: it seemed like leftovers from the day before, and it was 8 pm!
I don't know if it was just a bad day, but the disappointment remains.

Best semifreddo on the entire island. €5.50 for a small one and I believe the big ones are €24/kg. So many different flavours, and not overly sweet, which is rare for Sicily. Would highly recommend

I can say that the place is nice and the food isn't bad, but the counter staff isn't suited to serving older people. They have annoyed faces and lack tolerance, even though no unusual requests were made. Overall, everything was perfectly normal. I recommend being more polite.

Late morning on 01/05/2026, the bar offers table service with a variety of sweet and savory options. We had a delicious dark chocolate-filled pastry. The coffee was also good.

Very nice interior, interesting items on the menu, good service, a large selection of sweets, a summer terrace where concerts with live music are held, close to Villa Belvedere - many pluses.
