Gorgonia In Acireale

Santa Tecla, Acireale, CT. Via Argenta, 110. We had two pizzas, both delicious and enjoyable, but not unforgettable. The wait was a bit long, but the splendid terrace overlooking the sea more than made our patience worthwhile. The staff is courteous, although a little more attention would have made our evening even better.

There are two terraces: one better than the other. If you don’t have a reservation you will be seated at the worse terrace. It’s still good though! The pizzas were very good, but the wine was extremely sour. The gelato was amazing!

We arrived without a reservation and earlier than expected, but that was not a problem at all. The waiters kindly helped us find an available table right away. The service was friendly, professional, and fast, and we were comfortably served in English. The pizza was delicious, and the drinks were excellent as well. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend this cozy place to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant atmosphere!

A pleasant stop for breakfast: the granita with brioche is good quality, fresh, and well-balanced in flavor. The price is more than fair for what you get. What makes the place truly delightful is the terrace with a sea view, which alone is worth the stop. Nothing groundbreaking, but a reliable place I always gladly return to.

I went to Gorgonia on March 24, 2026. It wasn't my first time there, and as always, I had a great time. The only thing that could be improved is the service. It's still top-notch. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

A pizzeria from another era, both in terms of atmosphere and prices. Very good pizza, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and down-to-earth. We'll be back in the summer.
