15/10/2025: Good, almost decent, but not exceptional.
It offers reasonably priced meals, but the quality of the menu is similar to that of a good company cafeteria. The deli is well-made. The pastries are decidedly good. The staff is quite courteous and professional. The indoor dining room has terrible acoustics: it's too noisy. The outdoor spaces are better, especially in the summer, when they make a good granita. The availability of parking spaces is definitely a plus: you rarely run out of space.
12/10/2025: Three large breakfasts and two small takeaways: very poor in size, quantity of filling, and quality. However, they know how to charge well. I won't be returning.

23/11/2025: Our infamous sandwich arrives without chips (never seen anything like it) leaving aside the fact that the bread on top was a bunny while underneath was another burnt and hard type, a sandwich that didn't taste like much, I was very disappointed, the place is very backwards compared to the past. I spent 18.50 for a beer and a sandwich, well

15/11/2025: Beautiful location right on the sea with the Acitrezza sea stacks as a backdrop... excellent quality food, EVERYTHING fresh, from the appetizers to the local sorbet, where the scent of lemons 🍋🍋 takes you back to beautiful Sicily.
Recommended.

Call to book without having to wait long for a table because the place is OBVIOUSLY and DESERVEDLY popular...

09/09/2025: Enjoying the hot food, granita, ice cream, and various pastries in this taste laboratory, which isn't a bar, is an almost unique experience. Paolo uses only high-quality, seasonal ingredients. He combines his father's tradition with his art of reinventing and enriching typical Sicilian products, in addition to the artisanal production of pandoro, panettone, colomba, and various cakes. I would also add the friendliness, politeness, and professionalism of the father and son owners.
25/06/2025: If you want to find the highest quality, you have to go to Bar Doge in Acireale.
The zeppole, desserts, hot food, all prepared with top quality ingredients.
The owner, Paolo always welcomes you with a smile and manages to entertain customers with joy and spontaneity and an aspect not to be overlooked, you will always find excellent music.
I recommend it to everyone

16/11/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for Palumbo Bar. I had ordered a cake for the following day, specifying that I would pick it up at 5:00 PM. I went to the bar at the agreed-upon time, but found it closed because it was closed on that day.
Aside from the inconvenience and the waste of time, the situation was unfortunate because I found myself without a birthday cake...

We had two pizzas, not exceptional but good enough.
The long wait times were made more bearable by the view from the terrace overlooking the sea. The service staff could do more and better.
27/09/2025: Good food and very friendly service. The waiter with glasses speaks English and is very helpful. I recommend both the service and the food. It's nice that they also sell ice cream.

17/06/2025: Terrible experience, I will never go to these bars again. I witnessed a pitiful scene, where some employees were mocked and targeted by their "superiors." Are we surprised we don't find any employees?
Respect is the foundation of everything; it doesn't matter what you sell, but how you sell it. They put me off, and I preferred to leave. Shame!

25/07/2025: Good service, typical menu for this type of establishment, friendly staff, and ample nearby parking. Wait times are reasonable (obviously dependent on the number of customers). Reservations recommended. Prices are in line with the type of dishes and menu offered. Recommended!

Mixed meat - schnitzel with fries (which had mud inside), chewing the edges of the bread as a "starter" only with oil (upon request)....OK maybe you had a bad day... culinary low point

We waited from 9 PM to 11 PM for the food. The beers arrived first, and we drank them dry.
Let's move on to the food. Bland, anonymous, mediocre. The chicken didn't taste like chicken, but rather tasted like venison. The bacon was soggy, the bun was a supermarket bun. The venison burger tasted like a soy and pork burger.
The only positive note was the sweet potato fries. The rest was forgettable. We'll never come again.
