It's a shame that they then make you sit in the most neglected room in the back with paper placemats and pass in front of the toilets where the door that hides the antechamber is missing and the door of which is inside the women's bathroom. Poorly maintained bathroom. We ordered a tasting of appetizers, all served in 15 minutes. Everything cooked first and reheated at the moment. We didn't dare order anything else. Both disappointed. 25/06/2025: If you want to find the highest quality, you have to go to Bar Doge in Acireale. The zeppole, desserts, hot food, all prepared with top quality ingredients. The owner, Paolo always welcomes you with a smile and manages to entertain customers with joy and spontaneity and an aspect not to be overlooked, you will always find excellent music. I recommend it to everyone

29/12/2024: To forget and for those reading to avoid. Late cutting board (an hour and a half of waiting) and poor quality (cold cuts and cheeses of poor quality and bad taste recovered who knows where not to mention the quantity). Focaccias grilled but strangely lukewarm outside and cold inside. It was enough to say that they were not able to serve food but only drinks. Last point: absolute inexperience in managing the customer (there were only 8 of us) in a place that can hold a maximum of 30 and poor ability to accept negative feedback.

28/06/2025: Saturday evening at Ristorante Il Porticciolo, Capomulini We had dinner on Saturday evening at Ristorante Il Porticciolo in Capomulini and, unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. We ordered a peppered mussels and a seafood salad as an appetizer: the latter never arrived. Next, two plates of linguine with clams, but the quality was definitely below expectations: tasteless clams and portions that seemed like one divided into two plates, even though they had been ordered (and paid for) as two complete dishes. We reported the problem to the waiters, who communicated it to the owner, but without any attention or solution. On the contrary, both the owner and his wife were rude and unhelpful. The service was slow and disorganized, and the bill did not reflect what we were actually served. It is not surprising that, unlike other restaurants in Capomulini that are full of people, Il Porticciolo had many free tables at 9:30 pm on a Saturday evening. An experience to forget. The customer should be welcomed, listened to and respected, not neglected. Not recommended. We will not return.

06/06/2025: Feeling at home with Giusy and her mother Nuccia. We had dinner on a flowered terrace, surrounded by lemon trees, with a sea view all the way to the coasts of Calabria. We ate an exquisite fish appetizer, Giusy welcomed us as if we were at her home, I would say a beautiful experience. If we return to Sicily it will be a must!

The staff is courteous, professional and helpful. Their attention to detail, to guests and their passion for cooking (very fresh fish) make the experience even more enjoyable. The garden offers a space for children who do not get bored. I have two who played and made friends with other children. It was all very pleasant and natural. To be honest, I do not understand the reviews I read and that almost disillusioned me despite having strongly recommended it to me. The perfect place for couples looking for a romantic atmosphere, groups of friends who want to enjoy an evening in a pleasant environment and anyone who wants to try an excellent culinary experience with a sea view. In short: A restaurant that deserves to be discovered for its enchanting view, its quality cuisine and its impeccable service. An unforgettable experience that will make you return home with a heart full of joy.

20/05/2025: Domenica a pranzo mi sono recato al Faro di Capomulini con la famiglia. Il ristorante, incastrato in una posizione privilegiata, offre un panorama incantevole che rende ogni pasto un momento unico. L'ambiente è curato e raffinato, con un'atmosfera accogliente e romantica. La vista sul mare è un elemento fondamentale, che crea un'esperienza immersiva e indimenticabile. Il personale è cortese, professionale e disponibile. La loro attenzione ai dettagli, agli ospiti e la loro passione per la cucina (pesce freschissimo) rendono l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Il giardino offre uno spazio per i bambini che non si annoiano. Io ne ho due che hanno giocato e fatto amicizia con altri bimbi. È stato tutto molto piacevole e naturale. In tutta onestà non comprendo le recensioni che leggo e che mi avevano quasi disilluso nonostante me lo avessero fortemente consigliato. Il posto perfetto per coppie in cerca di un'atmosfera romantica, gruppi di amici che vogliono godersi una serata in un ambiente piacevole e chiunque voglia provare un'ottima esperienza culinaria con vista mare. In sintesi: Un ristorante che merita di essere scoperto per la sua vista incantevole, la sua cucina di qualità e il suo servizio impeccabile. Un'esperienza indimenticabile che vi farà tornare a casa con il cuore pieno di gioia.

11/07/2025: One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I ordered a menu and asked if they could kindly remove the onion and sauce from the sandwich and the bacon from the fries. I checked my order and it was wrong. The cheddar fries were full of bacon, and the sandwich was overflowing with onion and sauce. I went to politely ask if it could be changed (with a receipt stating the ingredients to be removed), and the girl, with an almost annoyed tone, threw the sandwich in the trash and put the fries in a bag for the customer she was about to serve. For all it's worth, the fries hadn't been contaminated by hands or anything else, but just in case, they opened them, then closed them again and gave them to someone else, which is unpleasant, but not unheard of in the restaurant industry. At least serious poets don't do these things. I expected a little seriousness, but absolutely nothing. I'm sorry, but I don't recommend this place.
