Simple, fast, welcoming, and delicious, it practically ticks all the boxes.
Anyone who truly knows the people behind the counter, those who manage everything from the smallest to the largest, knows that the Mantellinas are people who had the brains, but above all the heart, to open a place like this. The food is very good, the service is extremely friendly, the prices are incredibly outrageous for what you get (in a good way), and the mother who runs the place is incredibly kind, generous, and never forgets her customers.

I've been to La Nassa several times, and every time is a pleasure. I've tried appetizers, first courses, spritzes, and sandwiches, and I can say it's all fantastic. The cuisine has a gourmet touch that makes every dish special.
The shrimp sandwiches are fantastic, and the tuna caponata is truly excellent: balanced, fresh flavors, and meticulous attention to detail. The first courses are also top-notch, an original and tasty way to showcase fresh fish.
A restaurant that combines quality, creativity, and top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended for those looking for something different from the usual fare and who want to savor fish in a modern, gourmet way.
04/09/2025: The paccheri and swordfish portion was for children, and the prices were high. The quality was below average, and there are better options in the area.
We waited 45 minutes before my partner ate, and then the pasta arrived 5 minutes later! Service worth checking.

In fact, it was very crowded on a Saturday night, so we waited a long time to get a table, but it was worth it. It's perfectly suited to large groups. There were nine of us, each of us ordered a different dish, and we were all
satisfied, not only with the quality, but also with the presentation, the pleasing combination of flavors, and the abundance of the dishes... they were actually huge!! That's why I consider the quality-price ratio excellent. The staff was helpful and fast. The evening was enjoyable, I'd say top notch!

The place isn't big, so you need to book in advance, but it's definitely worth it. Alternatively, they also offer takeout or home delivery. Breakfast was top notch! The Maritozzo was very similar to the original, in fact I'd say exactly the same! Excellent! The staff was smiling and helpful. Nice people for a great bar! VERY LOW PRICE FOR THE QUALITY! IN SIMPLE WORDS, FOR THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD... YOU PAY NOTHING!!
30/10/2025: Highly recommended, and our regular café during our stay in Acireale.
Try the granita with pistachio and almond ice cream + brioche (aka ice cream sandwich). Delicious! The cannoli with ricotta was also truly delicious. Espresso, of course. Perhaps most importantly: the staff was very friendly and made us feel "great to have you here." What more could you ask for? Thank you!

We've been frequenting this pizzeria since it opened, both as a couple and with colleagues. We liked it so much that we came here often until a few years ago.
We only recently had the opportunity to return and ordered some takeout pizzas, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
