A traditional Sicilian fish restaurant in the deepest part of the harbor, right on the pier. The 1970s feel palpable. But the fish and seafood are incredibly fresh and delicious. For decades, classic seafood dishes have been served here at a very high level. They also offer rare gems of "peasant cuisine," such as salicornia with garlic and olive oil. Oysters and lobster are also on offer, not to mention pasta allo scoglio, topped with a variety of shellfish, not just the inexpensive mussels.
The owner isn't getting any younger, but he runs the place with a steady hand, from the crates of seafood displayed at the entrance to the attentive service in the dining room.
The wine list is extensive and well-curated, featuring some real gems.
Here, you get a lot: classic dishes cooked to a high standard, without any modern gimmicks, all at very fair prices.

Returning to the Al Porticciolo restaurant in Capomulini is always a testament to our experience. The location is charming, without claiming to be transcendental, but dining on the terraces while enjoying the sea view is an experience worth the visit in itself. However, the true beating heart of this place is the human factor: the courtesy of the owner and all the staff is simply impeccable, I'd say priceless. It's precisely this attentive welcome that, for me, trumps everything else.
As for the food, we're talking true excellence. Every time we've been here, we've eaten divinely; the quality of the ingredients is unquestionable and shows in every dish. Special praise also goes to the expert wine recommendation: you can see the expertise and passion, because every pairing suggested has always hit the mark, maximizing the flavors of the dinner.
Of course, there are a couple of practical tips to keep in mind: reservations are practically mandatory, and parking in Capomulini can be a challenge, especially at peak times, but these are small "prices" to pay for an evening of this caliber. Speaking of prices, I think the bill is absolutely consistent: you pay for what you eat, and if you're looking for true quality, it's only right to recognize its value. An absolute must-visit for those who want to eat well and feel truly pampered.

Beautiful location on the Acireale marina, perched on the edge of the cliff, surrounded by the sea, with huge windows offering a dreamlike view. Excellent, deliciously prepared food, even for our New Year's Eve celebration, served with warmth and kindness. Excellent and friendly, they made us feel at ease at every opportunity. Thank you.
