31/12/2025: I wanted to try this place with some colleagues, but I've never made such a bad choice. Rice with tasteless minestrone soup; I had to add salt because it was bland! The surprise was the price: 6 euros! For a first course like this, and even much better, I would have paid 4 euros. The alternative was penne with ragù, but what kind of ragù was it, with only pieces of meat in it? Sorry, this cuisine isn't for you. Never again, I definitely don't recommend it!

03/02/2026: Good, but more could be done. I believe customers should always be treated the same, regardless of whether they park a Maserati or an Ape! Courtesy and respect are the foundation of a restaurant! Restaurateurs, be careful who you put at the counter! They reflect the restaurant... BE CAREFUL. The breakfast is good, a bit limited... but if it's true that the wine is good... It's fine!

01/11/2025: I just had a coffee and a coffee creamer... both were good except for the girl at the counter who, as soon as she served us, stood in front of us staring at us until she finished our drinks... is this normal? What manners she received!! Watching people while they eat... this is very serious!!!

06/11/2025: The gluten-free food is exceptional, they make dairy-free options for those with gluten intolerances. The problem is the rude owners who don't cater to their customers. I politely asked them to put aside a small portion of their food since I live far from where they're located, but they refused. "Whatever you find, you get it." I've never had service like that. Yes, some people shouldn't work. I'm a customer who spends at least €20 every time I go, and they'll never see me again unless I don't eat their croissants. Incidentally, it's better to go on an empty stomach than to go to people like that.

12/10/2025: Truly exceptional gluten-free products (the croissants were delicious). However, the service was terrible: after I twice stated that I was lactose intolerant, they still sold me products containing lactose that made me sick. To prevent such unpleasant situations from happening again, I would suggest greater attention and friendliness towards customers, rather than rude and dismissive behavior.

31/01/2026: THIS EVENING ON 01/30/2026 WE WENT FOR AN APERITIF. I WOULD LIKE TO PREFACE THAT WE ALSO WENT ANOTHER DAY WHERE WE HAD A GOOD TASTE. THE APERITIF WAS THE RIGHT GLASS THE FIRST TIME. AND TODAY AT THE PRICE OF 18 EUROS PER PERSON WE FOUND OURSELVES WITH LESS FISH THAN THE FIRST TIME. AND I ASKED FOR THEM TO CHANGE MY COCKTAIL AND PUT IT IN THE CORRECT GLASS. THEY POURED IT AND LOOK AT IT, HALF OF IT WAS MISSING. BUT NOT ONLY THE WAITRESS WHO MAKES THE MISTAKE IN TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER AND THEY LAUGH IN YOUR FACE. AND THE THING THAT DISGUSTS THE MOST THE CUSTOMER MUST BE SERVED WELL. THE ONLY ONE WHO IS SAVED IS EDU THE BAR ATTENDANT OR THE MANAGER, I DON'T KNOW WHO. BECAUSE HE'S A SERIOUS PERSON, HAVING SAID THAT, I WON'T RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DESERVE TO TELL HIM THAT SOME FISH WAS MISSING, TO APOLOGIZE OR TO REMEDY THE MATTER WITH SOMETHING ELSE, BUT WE PAID THE SAME PRICE TO HAVE WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. OPPOSITE THERE'S A NICE PLACE THAT I RECOMMEND. THE FOOD IS GOOD AND BETWEEN QUALITY AND PRICE, ABOVE ALL THE EDUCATION TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER IS BETTER, SINCE THE WAITRESS ALLOWED HERSELF TO MAKE A MISTAKE BY TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER FACE TO FACE INSTEAD OF RESOLVING THE PROBLEM.

29/12/2025: Labes Contemporary Bar is in the centre of Catania near Plaza Duomo. It is an Italian bar with small dishes. We sat on the beautifull terrace and while traffic is not allowed there there is no noise from the street. The restaurant is very cute. We had the famous scallopine Milanese and a salad and good beers and wines. It was very tasty the food. The meals were incredible good and the price was incredible low.

12/11/2025: Average takeout pizzas, not bad. Averagely friendly. Parking is available. Sometimes they're a little stingy with the mozzarella. I recommend picking it up rather than having it delivered. The service is expensive. And they're often forgetful.

10/11/2025: Exceptional pizza for its flavor and quality of ingredients. Absolutely easy to digest. Delicious dough. Absolutely the best pizzeria in the area. Friendly and friendly owner. Friendly staff. It's not your typical table service pizzeria. The place is small but cute and welcoming. Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Excellent food! The grilled squid was delicious. I recommend it.

09/10/2025: I stopped by for lunch and had a pasta alla Norma, which was truly delicious. The perfect amount of salted ricotta really brought out the flavor of the sauce and eggplant. The waitress was friendly and approachable. I also recommend it for a quick lunch.

13/08/2025: Lido in Santa Tecla, not a pretentious beach but it does its job Showers are available Sunbeds and umbrellas are on a wooden platform Access to the sea (rocks) with a walkway Three sunbeds and an umbrella for €30, definitely affordable Lunch is less affordable and very trendy, but you're right on the beach Two plates of spaghetti with clams A grilled squid, a tea, a glass of wine, two coffees, and three small bottles of water for €62

12/08/2025: The place isn't very pretentious, but it allows you to enjoy a swim with the comfort of a lounger and umbrella and a freshwater shower for €10 per person (August 12). We ate there at the lido, served by a very courteous gentleman. 2 spaghetti with clams, good though not exceptional. Roasted cuttlefish, delicious. A glass of wine, good. 2 coffees and 3 waters total €62. Lunch isn't exactly cheap. The service is quite sketchy, as is the location. The gentleman, who is very attentive and super kind, gives us a star for that. I repeat, for €10 per person we couldn't have asked for better. Ice cream vendors often pass by with gelato and granitas, two minutes down the road, and from the lounger and the sea you can see Mount Etna. It's worth it.

13/01/2026: Terrible experience. I ordered some rich fries for €4 and received a practically empty package, which was then replaced and refilled. The worst was yet to come when I ordered a "1955." This sandwich arrived the first time with only lettuce, tomato, and charred bacon inside; I rightfully asked for a replacement, and 15 minutes later I received another sandwich, which I believe to be the same, but with only the burger, lettuce, and tomato. At this point, I simply asked for a sandwich as I had ordered it and not a cheeseburger, given the significant price difference between the two. The staff replaced it again, but were visibly annoyed by what had happened (I only asked for what I had paid for...). To finish, I ordered a milkshake and it was filled precisely halfway. I don't usually write reviews, because it can happen once or twice. However, I'll point out what happened because I go to this McDonald's often, and every time I go, my order always arrives with something missing or half-filled. Please be careful with your orders and give the customer what they pay for. I've reluctantly decided not to return to this store; I don't recommend it to anyone.

04/01/2026: UPDATE: The pickup monitor issue persists after a year. Furthermore, the bad habit of allowing smoking inside the restaurant has been added. Original review: Sandwiches arrived cold and the pickup monitor was disabled, causing pickup disruptions and problems processing KPIs (a common and common problem with ETNAFOOD).

01/08/2025: Panineria Smile is a real guarantee! The staff is extremely courteous, always smiling, and ready to satisfy every request with professionalism. But the real highlight is the grilled sandwiches with meat and meatballs, prepared over live charcoal, as per Catania tradition. The flavor is authentic, intense, and truly irresistible. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and a passion for every bite. A must-try for anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended!

30/11/2025: I ordered a pizza and fries on Just Eat at around 8:20 PM, estimated arrival time 9:25 PM. At 9:50 PM, I called the restaurant to find out, and they told me the order had been moved to 10:05 PM. At 10:10 PM, I called the pizzeria again, and they told me it wasn't their fault, but the delivery drivers', and that the pizzas were almost ready. At 10:32 PM, still nothing. Embarrassing.

29/11/2025: Terrible service. I ordered two pizzas at 8:00 PM and they arrived at 10:30 PM, and one pizza was missing the expected ingredients. I highly recommend it.

06/02/2026: Terrible place 3 hours to serve they gave the number and they don't call the number causing half the queue to skip

05/11/2025: Excellent kebab shop, I recommend trying their really excellent sauces.

10/01/2026: The pizza is very good, but the menu is heavily focused on American cuisine. They offer fries and American-style pizza. There's no salad! At least they have local wine by the glass.

27/10/2025: On Friday evening, a group of friends and I went to try the new American-style pizza. In my opinion, it's not a pizza everyone will like because the crust is very crispy. We loved it; we tried several flavors, and they were all delicious and well-seasoned. The service is a bit so-so, but the atmosphere is nice, the pizza is excellent, and the prices are fair. What more could you ask for?! ☺️
