22/10/2025: I'm leaving a very positive review to publicly thank the staff for their extremely kind and thoughtful approach in recovering and storing my phone, which I'd forgotten in the restroom. A simple phone call, without any waiting, was all it took to arrange storage and pick up. Thanks again!

19/12/2025: I was here in December, but the place is unpleasant. It's a very old and run-down campsite. The bungalows have damp, moss-covered, and decaying walls. The old, dilapidated showers have hot water, but there are gaps between the ceiling and the walls. The rooms are cold and unheated. The doors are old, rusty, and hang crookedly on their hinges. The toilets don't have seats or lids. It's absolutely unsuitable for booking in advance and I wouldn't recommend it. It might be suitable as a stopover (2 nights) in the summer, as the sea is directly across the road and there's a good view of Mount Etna. I gave it one star because zero stars isn't an option.

08/12/2025: Nice, pleasant and flexible owners, you can choose your place and later sort out documents. There are various places and choose what you want and there is electricity. The problem is if you need to use showers. There is only 3 of them and they are tiny and you need a token for 3 munutes. If you put your towel or clothes by the door on the hook you can't open the shower door or your chlothes can get wet. Generally camp need some cleaning and investment but the showers are the biggest problem if you need to use them. Some people use facilities in campers but it would take much to fix and make better showers. I paid 25€ with Acsi which is OK if you arrive from Messina side and you want to see Etna as there is not much choice. Later I found better and cheaper camps. Not that I don't like this camp but honestly I prefer others more for facilities and accordingly the price.

23/06/2026: The sandwiches are always good, tasty, and, above all, plentiful! I highly recommend the sandwiches with butcher's products. I go for the sausage and melted cheese. Delicious! 😋

05/01/2026: I've always been a regular, but after the last experience, I've decided I won't be returning. We waited two hours for a pizza and two grilled dishes, which turned out to be unpresentable, as what we were served was far from their classic grilled dish (I'm attaching a before and after photo, the same dish from a year ago and three months ago). The store-bought burger tasted like cardboard, the pistachio didn't taste like pistachio, even though that was their specialty until a few years ago. It was delicious, and that's what we came for. The photo speaks for itself. In all this, after two hours of waiting, we saw dishes arriving for those who had arrived much later than us, simply because we were "waiting for the grilled dish," a ridiculous excuse because you can already tell from the dish how long it takes to prepare it. The bruschetta appetizer arrived with the main courses. Those who had pizza had to eat it cold because the grilled dishes arrived after another 20 minutes. The service was disorganized and the food quality was far from what it used to be. Not even a "sorry." You've lost 3 regulars. A real disappointment. Absolutely not recommended.

02/01/2026: I ordered sandwich number 9. The only good thing was the packaging, the bread was very hard, I'd say stale, there were no sauces as stated on the menu, and the mushrooms weren't the ones specified on the menu (they were pleurotus instead of cardoncelli). It also arrived 50 minutes late, but on the phone they initially told me it was 15 minutes late, and then they didn't even pick up the phone. I don't recommend it; they're not very serious and the food is of poor quality.

05/03/2026: Good bread and lots of delicious treats. Regarding the counter staff: only the two youngest girls are really good and kind, the rest are not at all suitable, because they have no manners of welcoming customers, sloppy and unmannered. The girls, on the other hand, are truly the best and in my opinion they are the ones who keep the business going.

05/08/2026: We had breakfast at this McDonald's, hard croissants, then while we waited, we saw a stout girl, wearing wet gloves, who had done everything she could, picking up glasses from the drinking area, then croissants too, with gloves on. We'd never seen anything like it! We no longer wanted to have breakfast! Disgusting!! I say, is all this normal? That someone who makes cappuccinos and serves breakfast would allow herself to do these things? We've wiped out this McDonald's. I think it should close, and ASAP! It's the worst we've ever seen, dirty, and with zero hygiene, and when that's missing, everything is missing. I absolutely don't recommend it!

07/04/2026: The sea view is absolutely enchanting, and the location is very unique and excellent. I visited on Easter Monday, and there was great music and dancing. I recommend parking your car in one of the various available parking lots before arriving at the lighthouse.

13/05/2026: Excellent products, very friendly staff. We also tried home delivery, perfect timing, and pizzas in good condition.

10/05/2026: I ate at this pizzeria, and everything was delicious. A welcoming, clean location with professional staff. I highly recommend it.

31/07/2026: Thanks to the waiters for the exquisite service; it was a wonderful place to have breakfast, sit down, and relax. I had the best brioche with gelato: I highly recommend it, and if I ever return to Catania, I will definitely return.

25/07/2026: The ice cream was terrible, and the service could be much better. They tell you one price, then say they made a mistake and charge you more because they didn't tell you the price correctly. This is especially true if you're a foreigner. An ice cream cone costs €3, then they tell you it's €3.25 and that they can't pay by card.

14/07/2026: Too much, too slow, not even a lot of attention, the food isn't hot at all, and above all, too much of a wait. Change the staff, hire someone with experience.

01/07/2026: ALL THE GIRLS WHO WERE ON DUTY TONIGHT, we're talking about 10.30pm this evening, one more incompetent than the other, the sandwiches in the bags (collected at the mc drive) all out of the boxes, give yourselves a big wake-up call

29/04/2026: Spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, drowned in the pasta broth, tasteless. Price: €10.

31/12/2025: I wanted to try this place with some colleagues, but I've never made such a bad choice. Rice with tasteless minestrone soup; I had to add salt because it was bland! The surprise was the price: 6 euros! For a first course like this, and even much better, I would have paid 4 euros. The alternative was penne with ragù, but what kind of ragù was it, with only pieces of meat in it? Sorry, this cuisine isn't for you. Never again, I definitely don't recommend it!

21/03/2026: We've ordered from this sandwich shop several times through Just Eat. The sandwiches are excellent with quality ingredients, the meat has never arrived burnt as unfortunately happens in many other places, but it's cooked to perfection and very tender. It's now our trusted sandwich shop.

09/01/2026: I have often bought max pizzas, I have always liked them.... The service is impeccable.... The pizza chef, a serious, polite person and punctual in delivery.... I will also try the scacciata!!!!!

19/05/2026: Acireale, CT. Piazza Duomo, 36. This kebab shop in the city center is excellent for a quick and affordable meal. The place is very small and basic, primarily for takeout. The kebab has a classic, standard flavor, with no surprises, but the portions are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

02/08/2026: Terrible service! If you're planning on eating here, don't come because you'll only see your pizza from afar.

11/07/2026: A few weeks ago, we returned to this pizzeria after many years. We were disappointed to find that the service hadn't improved at all, and the pizza we loved so much wasn't as good as it used to be.
