31/01/2026: THIS EVENING ON 01/30/2026 WE WENT FOR AN APERITIF. I WOULD LIKE TO PREFACE THAT WE ALSO WENT ANOTHER DAY WHERE WE HAD A GOOD TASTE. THE APERITIF WAS THE RIGHT GLASS THE FIRST TIME. AND TODAY AT THE PRICE OF 18 EUROS PER PERSON WE FOUND OURSELVES WITH LESS FISH THAN THE FIRST TIME. AND I ASKED FOR THEM TO CHANGE MY COCKTAIL AND PUT IT IN THE CORRECT GLASS. THEY POURED IT AND LOOK AT IT, HALF OF IT WAS MISSING. BUT NOT ONLY THE WAITRESS WHO MAKES THE MISTAKE IN TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER AND THEY LAUGH IN YOUR FACE. AND THE THING THAT DISGUSTS THE MOST THE CUSTOMER MUST BE SERVED WELL. THE ONLY ONE WHO IS SAVED IS EDU THE BAR ATTENDANT OR THE MANAGER, I DON'T KNOW WHO. BECAUSE HE'S A SERIOUS PERSON, HAVING SAID THAT, I WON'T RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DESERVE TO TELL HIM THAT SOME FISH WAS MISSING, TO APOLOGIZE OR TO REMEDY THE MATTER WITH SOMETHING ELSE, BUT WE PAID THE SAME PRICE TO HAVE WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. OPPOSITE THERE'S A NICE PLACE THAT I RECOMMEND. THE FOOD IS GOOD AND BETWEEN QUALITY AND PRICE, ABOVE ALL THE EDUCATION TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER IS BETTER, SINCE THE WAITRESS ALLOWED HERSELF TO MAKE A MISTAKE BY TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER FACE TO FACE INSTEAD OF RESOLVING THE PROBLEM.

29/12/2025: Labes Contemporary Bar is in the centre of Catania near Plaza Duomo. It is an Italian bar with small dishes. We sat on the beautifull terrace and while traffic is not allowed there there is no noise from the street. The restaurant is very cute. We had the famous scallopine Milanese and a salad and good beers and wines. It was very tasty the food. The meals were incredible good and the price was incredible low.

20/09/2025: Terrible experience: inedible pizzas, burned on the outside and completely raw on the inside (as pictured), and low-quality ingredients. It's not the first time this has happened, and I won't be back.

02/06/2025: Lascio questa recensione con l'amaro in bocca perché avevo un bel ricordo di questo pub negli anni passati. Sono andata a bere un drink insieme a mio marito e ci hanno fatto accomodare in sala, dove eravamo gli unici clienti. Ho notato subito il rettangolino di carta che ci hanno messo a mo' di tovaglia ma non pensavo ci avrebbero fatto pagare 3 euro di coperto per quello, anche perché avevamo solo preso 2 drink. Al momento di pagare, abbiamo chiesto EDUCATAMENTE per quale motivo stessimo pagando quei 3 euro di coperto quando non era stato offerto nessun servizio di allestimento del tavolo(=tovaglia, tovagliolo, posate, piatti, bicchieri). Se il proprietario ci avesse risposto altrettanto educamente spiegandoci magari che il coperto è obbligatorio e serve a coprire le spese del locale, del personale etc avremmo pagato senza battere ciglio. Invece il proprietario ci ha trattati come dei pezzenti invitandoci ad andarcene senza pagare e accusandoci di creare discussioni, alzando la voce e con un fare maleducato, interrompendoci più volte. Mi dispiace per il personale evidentemente in imbarazzo per la reazione esagerata del proprietario. Chiaramente abbiamo pagato i nostri drink come giusto che sia, ma avrei preferito lasciare quei 3 euro come mancia alla cameriera che è sempre stata gentile.

29/12/2025: A truly excellent pastry shop in every way. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the aroma of fresh pastries and a welcoming, welcoming atmosphere. The products are of the highest quality: beautifully balanced pastries, soft brioches, and simply delicious cakes. You can sense great attention to detail and the finest ingredients. The staff is friendly and available, even during the holidays! Besides the pastry shop, I highly recommend everything else, including the hot food and deli! A place I'll happily return to and I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves authentic pastry.

27/12/2025: Extremely rude staff: I asked about the cakes, and the clerk dismissively and arrogantly replied, "They're all on display right there." During the endless wait, while they were tapping out the receipt I had expressly requested, I asked to use the restroom, and an equally arrogant clerk replied, "I've already cleaned it." The cake was awful. I strongly advise against even approaching it.

15/07/2025: Not a good place to have breakfast Unfortunately poor management

27/09/2025: We're having dinner at the restaurant. The menu says spaghetti carbonara. Okay, I'll order it. I ask several times if they make it a little bigger, and the waitress says okay. The plate arrives, along with a small baking dish, while I complain that the carbonara arrives cold. I'll let you imagine. Then, when I get home, I see the receipt. I see it written down. €26.00. I phone. At the restaurant. They tell me their policy is so big and it means two portions, and I'm in the business. I'm ashamed that I belong to this category. Restaurants used to exist today. No longer just a pursuit of the god of money.

22/08/2025: The food is excellent, the service is a little less so, because we have to clean the tables before sitting down and the same thing when we leave.

30/11/2025: I ordered a pizza and fries on Just Eat at around 8:20 PM, estimated arrival time 9:25 PM. At 9:50 PM, I called the restaurant to find out, and they told me the order had been moved to 10:05 PM. At 10:10 PM, I called the pizzeria again, and they told me it wasn't their fault, but the delivery drivers', and that the pizzas were almost ready. At 10:32 PM, still nothing. Embarrassing.

29/11/2025: Terrible service. I ordered two pizzas at 8:00 PM and they arrived at 10:30 PM, and one pizza was missing the expected ingredients. I highly recommend it.

25/01/2026: I placed a delivery order. The pizza was stringy, the fries raw and unsalted. I called their number to ask if they could cut the pizzas (given the delivery delay), and initially they said yes. After a few moments, the pizza chef said in the background that they had already left because the pizzas were already boxed.

12/01/2026: Here you get the best pizza at a very good price, and we even got a free dessert, which we haven't seen anywhere else. The owner and his staff are very friendly, and everything is very quick.

13/01/2026: Even though it's in a remote location, close to Mount Etna, it offers breathtaking panoramic views. Excellent traditional Sicilian food.

07/01/2026: Fabulous, I recommend it. We spent New Year's Eve night and lunch with the camper group.

04/10/2025: Don't go there: they cancelled my reservation two hours before!!!

20/09/2025: This place completely disappointed me. After booking on The Fork and driving for half an hour and 20 km, they cancelled my reservation and we had to go back with completely empty stomachs.

22/01/2026: My experience today: I walk in line to order and the employee turns around and tells me next time I have to do it from the screen, and if for any reason I can't or don't know, I shouldn't come in, thank you so much, but I will carefully avoid going in again (there are ways of saying things). You don't know what dialogue means, increasingly dependent, and dependence leads to ruin.

20/12/2025: Check a few things. Very poor cleaning of tables, chairs, and floors. Unsalted and cold fries, cold sandwich. McDonald's should be the same everywhere!!!
