05/01/2026: I've always been a regular, but after the last experience, I've decided I won't be returning. We waited two hours for a pizza and two grilled dishes, which turned out to be unpresentable, as what we were served was far from their classic grilled dish (I'm attaching a before and after photo, the same dish from a year ago and three months ago). The store-bought burger tasted like cardboard, the pistachio didn't taste like pistachio, even though that was their specialty until a few years ago. It was delicious, and that's what we came for. The photo speaks for itself. In all this, after two hours of waiting, we saw dishes arriving for those who had arrived much later than us, simply because we were "waiting for the grilled dish," a ridiculous excuse because you can already tell from the dish how long it takes to prepare it. The bruschetta appetizer arrived with the main courses. Those who had pizza had to eat it cold because the grilled dishes arrived after another 20 minutes. The service was disorganized and the food quality was far from what it used to be. Not even a "sorry." You've lost 3 regulars. A real disappointment. Absolutely not recommended.

02/01/2026: I ordered sandwich number 9. The only good thing was the packaging, the bread was very hard, I'd say stale, there were no sauces as stated on the menu, and the mushrooms weren't the ones specified on the menu (they were pleurotus instead of cardoncelli). It also arrived 50 minutes late, but on the phone they initially told me it was 15 minutes late, and then they didn't even pick up the phone. I don't recommend it; they're not very serious and the food is of poor quality.

02/08/2026: Terrible service! If you're planning on eating here, don't come because you'll only see your pizza from afar.

11/07/2026: A few weeks ago, we returned to this pizzeria after many years. We were disappointed to find that the service hadn't improved at all, and the pizza we loved so much wasn't as good as it used to be.

05/03/2026: Good bread and lots of delicious treats. Regarding the counter staff: only the two youngest girls are really good and kind, the rest are not at all suitable, because they have no manners of welcoming customers, sloppy and unmannered. The girls, on the other hand, are truly the best and in my opinion they are the ones who keep the business going.

02/03/2026: Slow service, very slow. You walk in and it looks like the cat has died. Not a word, sad faces. Hours pass to serve one person even when no one is there. Phone orders are obviously given priority. Your turn comes. The toppings are counted, not one less, not one more. 8 fries for everyone. If there are 9, they take it away and you pay 6.50 for that sandwich. And I don't know about the others. After eating, I get a terrible stomach ache. I won't be returning to this place again.

14/08/2026: Excellent food, like other McDonald's. The ice cream is good, but the preparation needs updating. My sundae had all the chocolate on the bottom, instead of on top and in the middle of the cream. It wasn't a sundae like usual: it was just cream on top and all the chocolate on the bottom. More care should be taken when filling the glasses.

13/08/2026: The service isn't working. Cars parked in designated pickup areas. The wait is too long. This isn't a fast food restaurant. It needs a presence and staff. McDonald's has leveled itself with the mediocrity of many businesses in Catania.

31/07/2026: Thanks to the waiters for the exquisite service; it was a wonderful place to have breakfast, sit down, and relax. I had the best brioche with gelato: I highly recommend it, and if I ever return to Catania, I will definitely return.

25/07/2026: The ice cream was terrible, and the service could be much better. They tell you one price, then say they made a mistake and charge you more because they didn't tell you the price correctly. This is especially true if you're a foreigner. An ice cream cone costs €3, then they tell you it's €3.25 and that they can't pay by card.

10/08/2026: Excellent products, happiness for adults and children

05/08/2026: We had breakfast at this McDonald's, hard croissants, then while we waited, we saw a stout girl, wearing wet gloves, who had done everything she could, picking up glasses from the drinking area, then croissants too, with gloves on. We'd never seen anything like it! We no longer wanted to have breakfast! Disgusting!! I say, is all this normal? That someone who makes cappuccinos and serves breakfast would allow herself to do these things? We've wiped out this McDonald's. I think it should close, and ASAP! It's the worst we've ever seen, dirty, and with zero hygiene, and when that's missing, everything is missing. I absolutely don't recommend it!

31/07/2026: New summer promotion, pizza, drink and chips including cover and service 9.90, compared to two years ago, excellent pizza, fast and friendly service.

20/06/2026: Had a bottle of wine togheter with a charcuterie board on the terrace. Both were good, the service was fast.

18/08/2026: Avoid this place. We asked for a glass of wine with a sea view and were denied a table, even though they remained empty our entire stay. We were charged a cover charge for a half-hour aperitivo, even though we had specified that we weren't eating and were in a hurry. A 25-minute wait for three glasses of warm wine and two oysters. The person at the cashier was rude.

20/06/2026: A variety of very good dishes and a friendly waiter.

01/07/2026: This pastry shop only makes small panzerotti. They told us that they don't make large panzerotti during the summer, which is something I've never heard in my life! When they're like that, I think they should close. You can't say something like this to a customer, because it's crazy 😲, so if you want to eat panzerotti during this period, go somewhere else, I don't recommend it.

14/07/2026: Nice supermarket, reasonable prices, and friendly and helpful staff. We shopped there several times during our vacation; the coupons are a great idea.

18/08/2026: The food has changed a lot in recent years and certainly doesn't look like the pictures. No to very little lettuce/raw vegetables, little sauce, and a soggy, dry bun (if you can even call it bread).

16/08/2026: Terrible service, cold food, rude staff, long wait for food. Even when it wasn't busy. Not recommended.
