📄 Deployment Report
The Hotel Sigonella Inn is a difficult case. Presumably, it was a first-class outpost several decades ago, but today the facility is clearly showing its age. Even the lettering on the roof is reminiscent of an abandoned site from an Imperial horror protocol – though it's not quite that bad.
The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a pool, but it was closed (April = "winter operation"). Two vending machines with snacks and drinks are available on the ground floor.
The rooms are pleasantly large, which is a positive point. However, the furnishings are old and clearly worn. Some of the door locks appear damaged, as if a stormtrooper had already tried to "adjust" them. A safe is provided. The bed linens were clean, but a mattress protector was missing – which, combined with the old carpeting, raises questions that an agent would rather not investigate further.
The bathroom is also large, but heavily worn. Scratches, damaged areas, and makeshift repairs (e.g., a patched bathtub) are clearly visible. Overall, much of it appears to have been poorly maintained.
A fitness area was nowhere to be found. Breakfast is very basic – functional, but without much variety. Coffee, juice, and pastries do the job, but nothing more.
The air conditioning is a definite plus: quiet, efficient, and reliable. In an environment like this, it's almost Death Star-level technology.
The hotel offers ample parking and is located about 15 minutes outside the city.
📊 Overall Verdict: Large rooms and a functioning base, but a clear need for investment in furnishings and condition.
Overall rating:
🟥🟥🟨 – Acceptable
Operation level:
Level III – Acceptable
Mission feasible – but more of an old outpost than a modern Imperial standard.
