I migliori ristoranti in Catania

05/10/2025: We were invited to a birthday party and were unpleasantly surprised by the lack of care and decoration of the outdoor areas. The indoor dining room, on the other hand, is dark and not air-conditioned (or decorated). The food was inedible: fried panelle from the Stra discount store, I think, hard sandwiches, everything inedible (and indigestible). Water (Ruscella) was poured by the waiters (two improvised people, I think) when they were in the mood, and Coke was nonexistent. I don't know how much you pay for such a service, but I definitely won't be back if they invite me back.

30/09/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff. If I could offer a small suggestion, the inside dining room could use a little more light. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!

31/07/2025: It's nice that the bakery opens at 6:00, but I was leaving Catania early in the morning and wanted to buy something for the road. Unfortunately, after 6:20, there was nothing fresh, and aside from leftovers, the place was generally empty, so I was very disappointed. The baked goods might be very good, but I didn't get to try them :(

18/10/2025: Excellent food! The grilled squid was delicious. I recommend it.

09/10/2025: I stopped by for lunch and had a pasta alla Norma, which was truly delicious. The perfect amount of salted ricotta really brought out the flavor of the sauce and eggplant. The waitress was friendly and approachable. I also recommend it for a quick lunch.

06/07/2025: I had the pleasure of enjoying a granita with Brioche and to say it was delicious is an understatement, I brought one of the Brioche home to enjoy separately!! CONGRATULATIONS to all of you, I'll be back soon.

05/07/2025: Family restaurant, very nice and friendly. Delicious food, they make it themselves on site. If someone wants to eat well and cheaply, I recommend it.

05/06/2025: Ho pranzato due domeniche fa in questo buon ristorante situato nel centro della città, dietro la Via Etnea. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità del cibo proposto e dal servizio veloce e cortese (dal momento che purtroppo avevo l'aereo a breve). Ho preso maccheroni alla norma, cotoletta e torta al limone. Il ristorante ha una ricca carta di pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chi viene in città, considerando che non è facile trovare nella zona ristoranti altrettanto buoni. Spero io stesso di tornarci presto.

The girl taking the order sold us an aperitif with four pizzas (spoiler alert: one arrived), a platter for three with only one slice of cured meat of each type, so some people could eat it and some couldn't, same thing with the mixed fried meats. We were offered several potato samples, with the only difference being whether they included mayonnaise or a spice. So, the aperitif was expensive, considering that the cocktail (we all chose Coca-Cola) wasn't included. The staff taking the orders were unwelcoming, the rest of the girls were kind but inexperienced. We ordered something else, and everything arrived quickly without any problems. Uncomfortable tables. Would I recommend it? Only if you're there for the CantaQuiz with Dr. Why, but only for drinks!
