23/05/2026: I've traveled all over the world. I've never received such appalling service. The waiter was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. A very unpleasant man (he didn't seem Italian), rude, curt... Honestly... After a couple of rude replies, he threw the menus on the table... That was it... We all got up from the terrace and left. It ruined our afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

15/05/2026: Avoid this place - dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, and even the menu was so dirty you couldn't even touch it.

24/12/2025: I find myself having to write a negative review. I booked 2 scacciate a week in advance for today (Christmas Eve). I asked if I could book at 7:30 pm, and they told me they could for 8:00 pm. I arrived at the bakery at 7:50 pm and found more than 60 people before me. I took number 01. Some had booked for 7:00 pm and were still waiting. It was 9:00 pm and the numbers that reached 82 went back to 76 and then went up and down again. It seemed like we were playing bingo. At 9:30 pm there was still nothing. Like many other people, I left without having taken anything! I thank the Zappulla bakery for ruining a Christmas Eve, but fortunately you are not the only ones working there and I ordered four pizzas from my usual pizzeria which was delivered to my house. PS: I don't even live in the area and I even lost my fuel bill. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM YOU AGAIN! The lack of seriousness, respect and professionalism was incomprehensible, if not beyond comment.

30/11/2025: Recommended by colleagues but I thought they were exaggerating in their compliments to the staff and the Chef. We started with homemade appetizers of all kinds. The first two arrived very tasty and we took the second one home. We were very full. Next time we will go there to try the pizza and I hope we find the fireplace lit because the room is very characteristic.

27/10/2025: My husband and I arrived at the pizzeria, and I ordered eight pizzas. The lady at the cashier was very friendly and kind, the pizza chefs were tidy and well-organized, and the place was clean and welcoming. I ordered several pizzas for dinner with friends. They were all loaded with toppings, very fresh and high-quality. The pizza dough was top-notch, with excellent leavening, and perfectly cooked. Really, nothing to say except compliments, the wait time was short! I made a great impression on my friends, and they were delighted with the pizzas, which no one else can make these days. I was satisfied too. Definitely my favorite pizzeria after trying dozens of pizzerias and all of them a failure! Trying is believing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

02/03/2026: Slow service, very slow. You walk in and it looks like the cat has died. Not a word, sad faces. Hours pass to serve one person even when no one is there. Phone orders are obviously given priority. Your turn comes. The toppings are counted, not one less, not one more. 8 fries for everyone. If there are 9, they take it away and you pay 6.50 for that sandwich. And I don't know about the others. After eating, I get a terrible stomach ache. I won't be returning to this place again.

Other times, they forget a few drinks. A few employees, when I asked, apologized and told me that the lack of staff can lead to these inconveniences. Unfortunately, this restaurant is characterized by a lack of attention and poor organization, which is generally better managed elsewhere.

16/05/2026: Average food quality. Not the best prices ever but on the other hand the restaurant is located in a very touristc area. Under staffed who are not ready attentive. They charge coperto 2,5 euros per person which is a standard procedure for them. Wouldn't recommend this place to be honest.

23/12/2025: Giarre, CT. Piazza Duomo, 15. It's located in the premises formerly occupied by "Osteria Bonadies," which we frequented quite often years ago. Intrigued by the new management, or simply by the new sign, a few days ago we ordered some takeout pizzas. They weren't exactly exceptional, but they were quite good.

13/09/2025: I arrived at the restaurant, politely asking to be seated. I sat down and ordered a Margherita and a Campagnola. After about 15 minutes, the pizzas were brought to us. They didn't look or smell good, but the worst came when my dad and I tasted them. The dough tasted like yeast, the sauce was sour, and the mozzarella had no flavor. The worst pizza of my life, truly awful. They'll never remember me again.

18/04/2026: I went to this pizzeria with my son, but unfortunately, the experience was very negative. We ordered a Margherita with salami and a parmigiana pizza. The salami was sliced ​​excessively thickly (about 2 cm), making the pizza unappealing and difficult to eat. The parmigiana was even worse: the eggplant was obviously spoiled. It wasn't just my impression, as a customer sitting next to us also returned her pizza for the same problem. I reported the situation to a red-haired woman (I don't know what her role was), but the response I received was unacceptable: I was told I would still have to pay and that, if they remade the pizza, I could throw it away because it wasn't their problem. An unprofessional and disrespectful attitude toward the customer. I tried to point out the seriousness of the situation, also regarding the quality of the food, but no one listened. However, I would like to point out that the pizza chefs and a service girl were helpful and kind, trying to handle the situation as best they could. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend this place.

11/04/2026: Service: We ordered pizzas, served one at a time. The caraoche was turned up so loud that it distorted the music. The pizzas left much to be desired. Poor quality for the price.
