03/01/2026: Worst service ever! After waiting 30 minutes – with only one family ahead of us and only three kebabs – we left. Completely overwhelmed… unfortunately, I can't give a zero-star rating.

31/12/2025: I wanted to try this place with some colleagues, but I've never made such a bad choice. Rice with tasteless minestrone soup; I had to add salt because it was bland! The surprise was the price: 6 euros! For a first course like this, and even much better, I would have paid 4 euros. The alternative was penne with ragù, but what kind of ragù was it, with only pieces of meat in it? Sorry, this cuisine isn't for you. Never again, I definitely don't recommend it!

05/06/2025: Ho pranzato due domeniche fa in questo buon ristorante situato nel centro della città, dietro la Via Etnea. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità del cibo proposto e dal servizio veloce e cortese (dal momento che purtroppo avevo l'aereo a breve). Ho preso maccheroni alla norma, cotoletta e torta al limone. Il ristorante ha una ricca carta di pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chi viene in città, considerando che non è facile trovare nella zona ristoranti altrettanto buoni. Spero io stesso di tornarci presto.

24/08/2025: Terrible experience. I ordered a Margherita pizza with eggplant and fries. The pizza was full of oil, and I could smell the aftertaste of unaltered oil. The fries and eggplant tasted terrible. I only ate half of it because I paid for it! The table service girl was quite polite! The rest was awful.

02/06/2025: Lascio questa recensione con l'amaro in bocca perché avevo un bel ricordo di questo pub negli anni passati. Sono andata a bere un drink insieme a mio marito e ci hanno fatto accomodare in sala, dove eravamo gli unici clienti. Ho notato subito il rettangolino di carta che ci hanno messo a mo' di tovaglia ma non pensavo ci avrebbero fatto pagare 3 euro di coperto per quello, anche perché avevamo solo preso 2 drink. Al momento di pagare, abbiamo chiesto EDUCATAMENTE per quale motivo stessimo pagando quei 3 euro di coperto quando non era stato offerto nessun servizio di allestimento del tavolo(=tovaglia, tovagliolo, posate, piatti, bicchieri). Se il proprietario ci avesse risposto altrettanto educamente spiegandoci magari che il coperto è obbligatorio e serve a coprire le spese del locale, del personale etc avremmo pagato senza battere ciglio. Invece il proprietario ci ha trattati come dei pezzenti invitandoci ad andarcene senza pagare e accusandoci di creare discussioni, alzando la voce e con un fare maleducato, interrompendoci più volte. Mi dispiace per il personale evidentemente in imbarazzo per la reazione esagerata del proprietario. Chiaramente abbiamo pagato i nostri drink come giusto che sia, ma avrei preferito lasciare quei 3 euro come mancia alla cameriera che è sempre stata gentile.

03/11/2025: Went here for the first time tonight and WOW the food was so good! The pasta Norma was one of the best I’ve had, just absolutely delicious. Also a great Aperol spritz, and they are not all equal. The service was also great, very attentive, and a lovely courtyard table outside. Five stars for sure and I’ll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: It's useless... This is the second review I'm writing. The first was for the counter attendant. Now we're sitting with two heavy people. The atmosphere isn't great.

19/12/2025: I was here in December, but the place is unpleasant. It's a very old and run-down campsite. The bungalows have damp, moss-covered, and decaying walls. The old, dilapidated showers have hot water, but there are gaps between the ceiling and the walls. The rooms are cold and unheated. The doors are old, rusty, and hang crookedly on their hinges. The toilets don't have seats or lids. It's absolutely unsuitable for booking in advance and I wouldn't recommend it. It might be suitable as a stopover (2 nights) in the summer, as the sea is directly across the road and there's a good view of Mount Etna. I gave it one star because zero stars isn't an option.

08/12/2025: Nice, pleasant and flexible owners, you can choose your place and later sort out documents. There are various places and choose what you want and there is electricity. The problem is if you need to use showers. There is only 3 of them and they are tiny and you need a token for 3 munutes. If you put your towel or clothes by the door on the hook you can't open the shower door or your chlothes can get wet. Generally camp need some cleaning and investment but the showers are the biggest problem if you need to use them. Some people use facilities in campers but it would take much to fix and make better showers. I paid 25€ with Acsi which is OK if you arrive from Messina side and you want to see Etna as there is not much choice. Later I found better and cheaper camps. Not that I don't like this camp but honestly I prefer others more for facilities and accordingly the price.

06/01/2026: Sharing my experience, just leaving this facility at 3:55 PM from 12:45 PM... I won't go into too many words. The whole context was TERRIBLE.

21/12/2025: Good food, but poor service. The atmosphere is poorly maintained; it's unacceptable for water to leak into the dining room when it rains.

07/03/2026: I love my Amelka❤💚 🦋💙💛❤ McDonald's is like McDonald's, very friendly and helpful service, and also fast? 😂, efficient and tasty. The breakfast menu is lacking, so one star is missing, meaning there are scrambled eggs but they're never available, maybe the chickens are extinct 😅😁😆, the rest is fine. There are small mistakes, but what's life without mistakes 😂. The shortcomings are not only in the breakfast menu but unfortunately in other areas as well. You only see what you see.

01/03/2026: I have to say I was truly surprised, in a positive way. In a time when kindness seems rare in many businesses, here I found a completely different team: all the employees were smiling, helpful, and friendly. And this despite it being Sunday and the place being packed. I could sense organization, politeness, and above all, a desire to work well with the public. A simple experience that makes all the difference. Congratulations to the entire staff! 👏

20/09/2025: Terrible experience: inedible pizzas, burned on the outside and completely raw on the inside (as pictured), and low-quality ingredients. It's not the first time this has happened, and I won't be back.

28/02/2026: The pizza wasn't the best in my opinion, but everything else was good!

28/02/2026: Horse meatballs were completely raw, and the second one arrived extremely raw as well. When it came time to pay our change, €32 was missing. I went back to the cashier and the lady at the counter replied in a firm, slightly joking tone, "Yes, I noticed, but you were gone." A terrible experience.

12/10/2025: I wouldn't repeat the experience. The prices weren't clear. We asked for a detailed bill, but they brought us a receipt with the total. In the end, we didn't know the cost of each individual dish.
