17/12/2025: Not much sushi, otherwise the same menu. The waiters were helpful. I spilled something last night. I won't be going back.

04/12/2025: Terrible!!!! We stayed there for a miserable week. Never again, never again. It's a shame about the star rating; it doesn't even deserve that.

07/09/2025: It's a shame we only discovered it on the last day of our vacation: we had breakfast here with granita and brioche; the one with the "tuppo" was still warm and delicious. The granita was authentic Sicilian granita, tasty and dense. Kudos to the owners! If you're passing through Catania, I highly recommend it!

30/06/2025: Anyone who knew this place during the historic Centamore management knows exactly what I'm talking about: it was a point of reference for good food, hospitality and an authentic atmosphere. Today, unfortunately, absolutely nothing of all this remains. The new management has completely overturned the identity of the place and not for the better. Once upon a time, you came here with the certainty of finding quality, kindness, professionalism. Today you leave only with the feeling of having wasted time and money. The service is approximate, often improvised, with staff who seem more annoyed than happy to welcome you. The courtesy of the past has been replaced by arrogance and a total lack of organization. In recent times, the situation has worsened further: the place has transformed without warning into a sandwich shop, completely erasing any connection with real catering. But the even more serious thing is that they didn't even deign to inform those who had booked for events, banquets or ceremonies. Customers left disoriented, without respect, without a phone call, without anything. As for the food… better not get your hopes up. What is served today has nothing to do with the cuisine that once made this place special. Dishes without soul, without identity, without attention. It is an insult to the memory of what this place represented. Not even the most mediocre of establishments would have the courage to propose certain things. The problem is not only the decline in quality, but the attitude of those who now manage it: presumptuous, inattentive, incapable of listening. A place that was a symbol of hospitality has transformed into something empty, impersonal, and sadly forgettable. A word of advice? If you have good memories tied to this place, leave them where they are: don't ruin them by returning. The real Casalrosato no longer exists. And what is there now, frankly, does not even deserve the name.

25/06/2025: This place doesn't exist anymore. It is now occupied by different restaurant.

07/12/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review due to the behavior of one of the waitresses. Even though we had a reservation, she told us there were no tables available; fortunately, other staff members intervened immediately and seated us without any problems. Throughout the evening, the waitress continued to look at us unprofessionally, never served us, and spent her time on her phone among the tables, paying no attention to the customers. Furthermore, to avoid walking near the tables, she even went down the outside stairs, completely avoiding the dining room: truly disrespectful behavior. It's a shame, because the other waiters were truly kind, friendly, and helpful, but her attitude ruined the atmosphere. I'm sorry the owner is perhaps unaware of these situations, because the rest of the staff deserves to be recognized.

26/10/2025: New excellent pizza, beautiful, off-menu, with bruschetta cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, ham, tuna, onion, arugula, mushrooms, eggs, and parmesan. Pizza THE KING 👑 Beautiful place, modern, very good staff, fast. Clean

29/08/2025: First of all, it's unthinkable that a restaurant in the center of Catania closes its kitchen at 11:30 PM in the height of tourist season, but we can ignore it since this is the restaurant's choice. However, it remains absurd that we sat down at this place clearly marked as a "pizzeria," and after ordering pizzas, we discovered they were frozen and, to boot, of poor quality. Needless to say, except for the first slice, all the pizzas remained on the plate, and in disgust, we paid the bill and left. A truly terrifying experience.

19/10/2025: A truly disappointing experience. The service was very inexperienced and poorly trained. The very inexperienced waiter served us a first course accompanied by the second course (which was supposed to be served later). The mushrooms were definitely from a can, the pasta was overcooked, and the carbonara was runny and hastily made to make up for the mistake of the grilled meat being served early. The second course was obviously reheated. The slice of meat was dry and tough. A truly awful experience. I strongly advise against it.

20/10/2025: Beautiful place with a sea view, classic Sicilian lunch with good fish and to finish a very good strawberry sorbet, service a little serious but efficient, a few more smiles wouldn't hurt, but highly recommended

27/09/2025: I came in for the first time... Looking at the pizzas being prepared, they seemed good quality... and that's why I stayed... DEFINITELY GOOD PIZZA DYNAMIC AND VERY KIND PIZZA GUESTS (I want to emphasize this) But honestly, seeing the speed, but above all the enthusiasm and smile with which the lady at the cash register welcomes you... makes me want to go to the pizzeria further down the road, where you certainly don't feel like you're in a cemetery.

28/09/2025: The owner was rude and unfriendly. Even though his place was empty, we decided to sit down (eight people). We drank a few beers, Cokes, and water, but perhaps because the bill wasn't too high for him, he decided to tell us that if we only had water to drink, we could go. I've never heard anything like it. Never again.
