We went to this bar to buy some arancini and the Catanian fagottini were exceptional, it's a shame the person who served us was slow and even bothered to tell us the ingredients

Our sicily breakfast place! Very good selection for a proper, sweet breakfast. Really great coffee and tasty sweets. If you want to go there for a snack in between, their Arancini's are a recommendation as well. It can get busy at times, but the short wait is really worth it.

I wanted to comment and give a proper rating to the Sicilian cannoli we tried. We didn't sit down, so I can't rate the service, but the cannoli were really good, especially the ricotta, which in my opinion is the best in Catania. The shell could perhaps be improved a little, but overall excellent.

Pasticceria Spinella with a view of the beautiful park. Spinella or Savia, two phenomena right next to each other. Both are beautiful Pasticcerias, extremely busy, sometimes overflowing. Personally, my preference goes to Spinella. The selection is fantastic, with a delicious assortment. Because they are so popular, service is certainly not a focus for either business. Be sure to visit both.

Best canoli we had in catania! The ricotta filling was silky smooth and the pastry was delicate and with lovely flavour. We also took some arancini to eat in Bellini park which were delicious. In case you are confused as we were, order at the different counters and pay at the till after!

23/05/2026: The pizza has a good crust, all the ingredients are good, but the wait for takeout is too long. From 7:30 PM when you order to 10:10 PM when it's delivered. Excessive.

10/05/2026: Honestly, it's not the Russian House it once was!!! It's a shame about the place, always nice and welcoming... But not many people... Being celiac, I was looking for gluten-free pizza, but they didn't have it... The owner told me the story of having been inspected by the tax authorities and being told they couldn't make any... But for me, the problem is that they don't have any sales and so they're trying to avoid unnecessary expenses for themselves, rightly so!!!
