09/08/2025: The food was good, but the staff's insistent "suggestions" made our bill skyrocket. When we pointed this out, they denied having insisted so much, justifying themselves by saying that the salad and tomatoes had skyrocketed the bill. I won't comment...Tourists, beware!

23/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place based on the more or less positive reviews. First of all, I booked, mainly because I knew from their website and online that they had hookah. I arrived and was told it wasn't available. I should have at least let them know. Anyway, we sat down and they pushed us to order the all-you-can-eat option, but in the meantime, we decided to try the sushi. The prices were really high, but anyway, we ordered a few pieces of sushi from the menu. As soon as they put the tuna sashimi on the table, it looked normal in color. As soon as I took the first piece and put it in my mouth, I immediately noticed the unpleasant fishy odor. Nauseous. I won't even tell you about the taste, it was awful. The most disgusting sushi I've ever eaten (and they just put it on the menu, and I don't even mention the prices because they're so exorbitant). I wouldn't have given it a cent! We ate with hesitation about the quality of the fish, and I'm of the opinion that sushi should be treated with care, as you don't mess with raw fish! We ate these raw pieces of sushi, almost having to force ourselves to eat them, because it was like eating spoiled fish. It was definitely a result of improper freezing and terrible preservation in the July heat. We ate, hesitant, thinking something might happen, and it did. In the evening, we went home and I felt terrible! It wasn't even Saturday, and there was no one there! Weekdays are usually when they take more care of the food and the customers, as there's less commotion. The food was poor, extremely low quality; I even felt sick! Who knows how it could have ended! No, no, no! And then the value for money was completely outrageous. I've eaten quality sushi at quality places for much less... It's a shame because it could have been a nice place and made a good profit. The waiters were a bit rude, and after we finished the sushi without asking for anything, they brought us the bill without asking, almost as if they were kicking us out. Bah!

20/07/2025: The thing I'll definitely remember about this place is the utter rudeness and listlessness of the young man who greeted us. When it was time to order, he seemed indisposed and rolled his eyes at every request we made, including mentioning a food allergy to strawberries. His attitude was one of utter annoyance and condescension. Fortunately, he was replaced by a young woman later in the evening. It's a shame because the sushi was decent. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs, considering my husband had a twinge shortly afterward.

12/04/2026: I'll be coming to your place this week because your products are really not bad at all, but your waitress, the rather large, overweight woman, is incredibly unpleasant and detestable! She's going to ruin the shop with her behavior.

13/12/2025: Very authentic place. I ended up grabbing food here almost daily. Over time, the staff got used to seeing me and became more and more open and friendly, which made the place feel genuinely local. The selection is very large, and the food is consistently good, so it never got boring. It naturally became my first stop in the neighborhood whenever I was hungry. Simple, reliable, and authentic.

06/11/2025: Excellent place where you can eat really well! The food is homemade, simple, but of great quality. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A little tip: it's best to avoid days when there are parties or group dances, because the dining room can be a bit slow and lunch can drag on into the afternoon. Overall, though, a highly recommended place!

22/03/2026: We didn't know it, we chose it also for the price of the All you can eat lunch and I must say that we ate very well. Excellent fast service and small and welcoming place. We will return.

02/12/2025: I'm from Mascali, and I often go there on Saturdays when I'm free to buy a Good to Go box, because my son particularly likes this surprise box idea. And I can say that we've always found the products to be to our liking, excellent quantity and quality... it's now becoming a pleasant habit!

07/12/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review due to the behavior of one of the waitresses. Even though we had a reservation, she told us there were no tables available; fortunately, other staff members intervened immediately and seated us without any problems. Throughout the evening, the waitress continued to look at us unprofessionally, never served us, and spent her time on her phone among the tables, paying no attention to the customers. Furthermore, to avoid walking near the tables, she even went down the outside stairs, completely avoiding the dining room: truly disrespectful behavior. It's a shame, because the other waiters were truly kind, friendly, and helpful, but her attitude ruined the atmosphere. I'm sorry the owner is perhaps unaware of these situations, because the rest of the staff deserves to be recognized.

07/02/2026: Giarre, CT. Via Quintino Sella, 60. We had the brioche and granita. Everything was good, according to the average standard of our pastry shops. There's so much more to try.

22/03/2026: We've been customers since it opened, and we've given this restaurant a couple of chances to return, but our last dinner there last week made us say enough. The food was cold and subpar, the wok was closed, and the food was poorly cooked on the grill. We finished with hard and certainly not fresh desserts. All-you-can-eat restaurants offer free fortune cookies... but they never do. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

03/12/2025: This morning I ordered a cocoa croissant and a macchiato in a glass with cocoa and cinnamon. The result? More than I expected...kudos to the cleanliness, the welcoming and kind staff, and especially to Francesca for the wonderful coffee she made.

18/11/2025: While we were having breakfast, a cleaner started cleaning the dust from the windows near us! I can't even begin to describe the "smell" of the detergent while, I repeat, having breakfast! Terrible.

The owners are very unprofessional, and, to top it all, I had to ask for a receipt; the owner told me it was in the bag, but of course it wasn't. It's a shame because I've often eaten at this bakery, despite the owners' attitudes, because the food is good; they won't see me again.

The owners are incredibly rude; I've never heard a "thank you" or "goodbye." NEVER! The management is completely disorganized, with zero courtesy; their only interest seems to be in making money. The blonde lady is furious with every customer; over the years, I've heard her yell, loudly scold the employees in front of everyone, and even chase away customers who asked for toppings from the snack bar. If you're a tourist, don't go to this bakery; we Sicilians are welcoming. The opposite of these people!
