29/07/2025: Old style bakery, very good semolina bread, well cooked and tasty, but lately I've tried the pizzas, both the large ones and the small ones in the bag, and the taste really seemed like eating a sponge... well, unfortunately they ended up in the garbage, even though I don't like throwing away food, but no one in my family ate them.

29/07/2025: Terrible experience, I went in to buy an arancino and paid €2 for it, but when I came out I saw that there was a price list hanging outside with the arancino €1.50...!!!!!!.. but what was equally serious, the arancino was inedible... cold, poorly seasoned and very dry... and to think that a tourist was supposed to eat it....!!!!

06/11/2025: This place offers everything from pizza to meat and beyond. Unfortunately, I personally noticed the less than stellar quality of the ingredients, despite them being fresh. The staff is helpful. The entertainment needs to be reviewed.

27/10/2025: Pizzeria Bellini has been a go-to place for pizza in Battiati for years. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional. Recently, they've also added delicious pizza alternatives, like hamburgers, a giant toastie, or a club sandwich—all absolutely worth trying! The only downside, the long wait for takeout and dine-in options, has been addressed, especially on weekends. This has now been handled very well. Recommended 👍

19/02/2025: I was passing through, I'm from Brescia, and I find Clipper Pastry Shop excellent in every way: fresh products. And being open 24 hours a day is already a plus.

30/10/2025: Sandwiches served cold, it looked like they had been put in the fridge the day before, frozen mozzarella, bacon smelled bad, inside the place there was a strong smell of cigarettes and cigars, it was like being in the neighborhood arcade, poorly maintained environment, poor quality food, a piece of advice, don't smoke in there and don't let the sandwiches smoke, do it at the moment,

19/08/2025: We had a calzone and a pizza. I have to say, it was really good. It was light and the toppings were excellent, but we waited over an hour, even though there weren't many people. We were tempted to leave. I don't know if there was a temporary problem or if it was just poor organization, but I have to say it was worth it.

10/08/2025: Buy good fish instead of answering to posterity... I'd give even less, but I'm not allowed. I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THE INCARCE ATTITUDE THAT REIGNS SOVEREIGN FROM THE BOSS WHO RESPONDS TO REVIEWS WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE CUSTOMERS' DISAPPOINTMENT, AND FROM THE GUYS IN THE DINING ROOM WHO HAVE NO PERPLEXITY ABOUT RETURNING PLATES TO THE KITCHEN STILL FULL AND NOT WORRYING ABOUT CUSTOMERS BY AT LEAST ASKING... Stop!

21/10/2025: For me, this hotel has become a regular stopover when I work in the Catania area. My company and I choose it for its excellent location. There's ample parking, and the building and rooms are a bit dated, but they're spacious and equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. We usually opt for the half-board option, and the evening meal service is excellent. The food is generous and tasty, but breakfast is a bit basic.

12/10/2025: Spacious but slightly dated rooms. The bathtubs in the bathroom should be removed; they're uncomfortable, dangerous, and unhygienic.

12/11/2025: The best lasagna in the Cataniya and the best staff attitude.

09/11/2025: First time in Catania. First time eating horse meat. First time at Polpetteria. It was recommended to me. It's located on a very charming pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants. The meat was excellent. The appetizer was exceptional. The wine selection was extensive. Must try!

10/10/2025: Like walking into a jewelry store but with food... with so much passion at rock-bottom prices €4.50, a huge plate of spaghetti with garlic and oil, delicious to say the least. Okay, then Rama with ricotta and lunch was served. The best in the center area in my opinion. See you soon 😍

02/10/2025: Since I’m a foreigner, he charged me 5 euros for 2 bread rolls, 2 small candies, and one beer. On the receipt it only says 5 euros and ‘tavola calda’

23/11/2025: The interior of the place was lacking: everything was dirty, the bathrooms were awful, the music was too loud, the waiters were unavailable, it took 20 minutes to pay the bill. People were drinking and dancing with beer in hand next to tables with children. A disgrace! A historic place that I'd been fortunate enough to never have been to, and judging by the evening, I could have easily avoided this dinner as well.

08/10/2025: I'm not even going to rate the food; it wasn't good enough to make me turn a blind eye to the thing that had previously put me off any desire to eat it anyway: the price. I paid €14.50 for two regular kebabs with just meat, chips, and basic sauces, and no, I didn't include any drinks. Prices like that in a town of 40,000 inhabitants, when in Milan, Rome, Turin, or anywhere else in the province of Catania, even the best kebab shops never go above €4.50-5. It's hilarious how I have a long-standing clientele that shows no signs of diminishing; on the contrary, you won't see me again.

10/08/2025: Excellent sandwiches, very good, the cheese sauce is a delight, my favorite, the girl who makes the sandwiches is very good, professional and every time I order by phone in the end everything is right, something that never happens in other places, compliments also to the owners, a warm greeting to the great uncle Mario who now rightly enjoys his well-deserved retirement

31/08/2025: Madonna delle Lacrime Bakery is truly excellent! Fragrant bread, always fresh and fragrant, with a quality you can recognize from the first bite. In addition to bread, the pizzas, focaccias, and baked goods are also delicious, prepared with care and using genuine ingredients.
