10/06/2025: Order booked for 8:30 pm. Upon arrival we found the hot food already bagged who knows how long ago, given that the pieces were cold, terrible experience, first and last time. To be avoided!

31/03/2025: Notato sui social, in occasione di una visita a Paterno' passo da questo posto che è una eccellente sintesi tra panificio,gastronomia,bar, pasticceria. Pranzato molto bene. Pasta al forno da menzionare. Personale gentile e professionale. Da ritornarci . Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da consigliare

27/05/2025: Poor quality of appetizers for 40 euros per person, almost non-existent second course, a transparent slice, and unfortunately terrible service, they slam the plates on the table, pour the prosecco making it come out of the glass, I get up after the appetizers to see the location, and they don't bring me the plates for the first course, telling me I thought he had left🤣.. they bring me a plate upon request, and they were giving me a dirty plate, continuous inappropriate jokes from the waiter, and also to the birthday boy.. they bring me the cake, it seemed like it was picked up from the floor from how it was placed on the plate, and to top it all off I notice the jacket stained with sauce leaning behind the chair, and when I got up the shirt was also dirty, I point it out to the waiter and he denies having served me the first course... you were lucky because it was supposed to be a relaxing evening, and I let it go, otherwise I would have told you much more....

24/05/2025: Pessimo!!! Accoglienza inesistente, ordinata della pasta per la bambina arriva un piatto con salsa acida. vini ossidati e nonostante la prima bottiglia sia stata cambiata la seconda ha avuto la sorte del tappo spezzato.. tentiamo con la terza….arriviamo al menu 35€ per vederci portate cibo scadente e in quantità miserevole. Abbiamo lasciato tutto! Chiediamo del wifi in quanto nessun telefono prendeva ed eravamo fuori dal mondo e ci è stato negato.. un’esperienza negativa in tutto e per tutto

18/10/2024: I advise against it. We asked if there was any Sicilian wine and what seemed like the owner replied "I don't know". After our order of white wine we were served some Tuscan vin santo... We pointed this out to the waiter who I must say was kind and asked us if we wanted to order something different, and so we did. A spritz and a prosecco. With nothing to eat, not even two chips. Once we get to the checkout we pay and before leaving we see a 2 euro cover charge on the receipt... without having eaten anything... and we ate outside, without even a placemat...

10/10/2024: Best Pasta and chicken I had in Catania :) actually in whole sicily. A must try if you go there

05/10/2024: Spit chicken was an inedible rotisserie chicken. French fries without salt. The baked potatoes inedible without spices and without salt. Baked cannelloni there was only the ragù of the cannelloni they were so overcooked that there was no trace of them. Not very convenient for disabled access. Parking is not always available.

30/05/2025: We came in quite late yesterday, hoping for some good pizza, and it turned out to be just what we were looking for! The service is perfect. The pizzas are very good. Thank you very much!

26/05/2025: Esperienza deludente e inaccettabile. Una settimana fa ho ordinato due torte alla crema per due compleanni che dovevamo festeggiare lo stesso giorno. Non solo nessuna delle due torte era alla crema – erano piene di panna, che avevo esplicitamente detto di non volere – ma hanno anche sbagliato il numero delle candele e non c’erano nemmeno le candeline, nonostante fossero state richieste chiaramente!!! Ho fatto una figura pessima davanti agli invitati e sono rimasta profondamente delusa. Avevo riposto fiducia in questo bar per un’occasione importante, e invece ho ricevuto tutt’altro. Non mi rivolgerò mai più a questo posto e non lo consiglierò a nessuno.

06/05/2025: We went on a Saturday night full of karaoke We had a great time, the fried foods were spectacular like the pasta and the pizza. The menu is very rich and we also find second courses and desserts which we will definitely try next time we return.

16/11/2024: Probé este bar un par de noches durante el fin de semana largo y lo que más destacó fue la rudeza del personal. Aprecio que estuviéramos en Italia y que hablar inglés es una ventaja, pero dejaron muy claro que estaban molestos por nuestra asistencia. Solo una persona hablaba inglés y atendían solo a los lugareños, cada otra parte del servicio tenía que ser solicitada. Bebidas muy caras y aunque pedimos exactamente lo mismo dos noches después, ha subido 4€ de precio? En términos de jerga, "estaban en ello"! Pequeño bar pintoresco en una calle tranquila pero no vale la pena al final.

01/06/2025: This might be even the best ones on the whole Sicily (which is not), but this doesn't justify such overprice, these prices are just set just to scam people! In the other gate, the prices are much lower, I wonder how is it possible not setting the same price to assure the travel a fair treatment. PS: I've seen so small arancini only during aperitivo in Catania when the serve free food with Aperol.

17/04/2025: We were treated great from the moment we walked in the door, until we left the restaurant Excellent dishes, above average product quality and excellent experience The sushi they prepare is inexplicably delicious, balanced in taste and perfect. Furthermore, it is one of the few places where, when you taste sushi, you feel the taste of REAL, fresh and tasty fish A special mention for the boy Gianluca who served us at the tables, helpful and fast in service Small note, totally justifiable given the quality, for the above average prices. I will gladly return

10/05/2025: A distanza di anni torniamo a mangiare da G.Rana prendendo di nuovo là Cacio e Pepe, ma non c’è stato, frattanto, miglioria, il pecorino romano insapore , nonostante la pasta era cremosa , Verosimile che se continuate a usare lo stessa marca di pecorino romano non si vedrà L miglioria , un gran PECCATO ……
