26/08/2024: Siamo arrivati a 5 min dall'apertura della piscina ed abbiamo trovato il cancello chiuso, citofoniamo e non risponde nessuno, abbiamo dovuto telefonare per farci aprire. La struttura appare trascurata e la piscina poco pulita! Per non parlare dell'enorme disagio creato dalla presenza di vespe. Impossibile stuzzicare un pacchetto di patatine. Alla fine hanno anche punto mio figlio, un bambino di 6 anni e non si sono neanche degnati di portare un cubetto di ghiaccio. Un signore che non so di preciso il ruolo che ricopre, si è permesso di dire che il bambino si sarebbe rafforzato e che era viziato dato che i nonni cercavano di confortarlo. A noi dispiace, dato che è una struttura vicino casa, ma non ci andremo mai più!

18/08/2024: Unfortunately I have to say that my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was poorly organised. We had to wait more than 1 hour and a half just to receive the first one, so much so that at 11.30pm we asked not to have the second one arrive. The food was of mediocre quality: the dish I ordered was decidedly undercooked. In summary, I do not recommend this restaurant. For the same price you can find much better options in the area. I give 3 stars because the staff was courteous, and really apologized for what happened. There is room for improvement because the potential is there. Thank you

15/03/2025: Historic place in front of the Cathedral of Giarre, delicious pizza even on a Saturday evening, friendly service, a slow snack but acceptable on a Saturday. when I booked they were very courteous in immediately accepting the request of a celiac diner, who was satisfied with her request... furthermore, the soap dispenser in the bathroom wasn't working and they immediately took care of my request We will definitely return Must try!

30/03/2025: Locale centralissimo e facilmente accessibile, ma non confortevole, con tavoli piccoli e angusti. Hanno 3 turni, il primo dalle 19.45 alle 21.15 ma poi per portarci la pizza sono passati 53 minuti. La varietà di pizze è ampia. La pastiera era buona. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Prezzi nella media.

18/10/2024: I advise against it. We asked if there was any Sicilian wine and what seemed like the owner replied "I don't know". After our order of white wine we were served some Tuscan vin santo... We pointed this out to the waiter who I must say was kind and asked us if we wanted to order something different, and so we did. A spritz and a prosecco. With nothing to eat, not even two chips. Once we get to the cash register we pay and before leaving we see a 2 euro cover charge on the receipt... without having eaten anything... and we ate outside, without even a placemat...

08/09/2024: Very good tender meat, quiet environment but sky-high prices 85 euros for a bit of meat and a mixed fry, there are much more suitable places to go for dinner. You can't set prices at random but for what you sell.

30/08/2024: I give one star for the location, but everything else is disappointing. Ordered pizza, but served on a combustible paper plate so as a result you eat a pizza that can't stand up even with a simple fork. I wonder why, given that we customers pay the cover charge? I'm sure that even the cats that wander around the tables, meowing to get something, are charged for the service. 😅 Not to mention the waiters who fail to provide you with information regarding the origin of their foreign craft beers. Hmm?!

05/01/2025: Attesa di un’ora e mezza per una semplice pizza, negoziazione col pizzaiolo per la sostituzione di alcuni ingredienti terminati, nuova attesa di mezz’ora, CONTESTAZIONE DELLA PROPRIETÁ a nostra richiesta di chiarimenti, 15 minuti tra l’uscita della prima e dell’ultima pizza, qualità più che rivedibile. Personale di sala gentile e non responsabile.

A special mention to the house black caponata and the service of the girl in the dining room who advised us on our choices and accompanied us during our dinner with impeccable service. An excellent discovery! P.s. the entrance to the location is further ahead in front of the boat storage

22/04/2025: We went on Easter Monday (Easter Monday) for lunch with a fixed menu of €40 per person, a bit too much for the menu: very little 4-course starter, 2 types of pasta in a single but delicious dish and the second course consisting of a raw pork meatball, an onion, a slice of ribeye and a well-cooked knot of sausage, finally a dessert made of panna cotta and coffee or bitters

16/04/2025: *Total disappointment: the Pizzoleria in Piazza Mazzini in Catania* I was a loyal customer of this place, which once offered generous portions at fair prices. However, over time, I noticed a steady decline in the quality and quantity of food. The portions have become smaller and smaller, and the prices have remained unchanged. But what happened on my last visit was the height of disappointment. I invited a friend to lunch and spoke well to him about this place, recommending the waiter to bring two nice portions of generous spaghetti pasta with Nebrodi black pork ragout. But when the food arrived, I was shocked: only one forkful per plate! Not only was it a ridiculous portion, but we also had to pay for two entire portions. It was a real deception. My experience with the Pizzoleria in Piazza Mazzini began as a beautiful adventure, but ended with infinite disappointment. I can no longer recommend this place to anyone.

10/10/2024: Best Pasta and chicken I had in Catania :) actually in whole sicily. A must try if you go there

05/10/2024: Spit chicken was an inedible rotisserie chicken. French fries without salt. The baked potatoes inedible without spices and without salt. Baked cannelloni there was only the ragù of the cannelloni they were so overcooked that there was no trace of them. Not very convenient for disabled access. Parking is not always available.
