28/12/2025: I hate to give it 2 stars, but aside from the pizza, the main courses weren't very good. The meatballs tasted stale and were cold, as were the side dishes. The chicken was raw in the middle and burned on the outside. It may have happened, but I didn't have a good experience. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and fast. Nice location.

25/12/2025: It was a little disappointing unfortunately. The aranceni was very cold and the fried seafood was so soggy and had a terrible after taste. The pizzas we ordered were relatively good. My son had grilled salmon which was raw in the middle. I wouldn't come here again for sure.

05/04/2026: The dining room could use a little renovation; it's showing its age. The food is good, prices are perhaps a little higher than normal (I'm talking about a few euros more), but still okay. The service is good. If you're in the area, you can definitely go. 👍

19/02/2026: I couldn't give it less than 5 stars. The dishes are plentiful, delicious, and high-quality. The fried food is homemade, not the usual frozen fare. The staff is friendly and helpful. Another plus is that you can order the freshest local fish.

18/08/2025: They make several types of bread. The deli is good, but a bit pricey considering it's a bakery. The croissants are the same price as a café. The place is small, and you often have to wait in line outside. Parking is difficult, and the staff are rude.

22/03/2026: The Chinese cuisine here is truly excellent. Don't be fooled by the slightly dated appearance of the entrance and interior. The menu is extensive and varied, and having tried a bit of everything, I can say there wasn't a single dish I didn't like. It's a simple, no-frills style of cooking, but the quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. I absolutely recommend trying their fried chicken—the best I've ever had, it melts in your mouth! The restaurant has a dated but welcoming feel. I personally place more importance on the quality and flavor of the food, which in this case gets a 10. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wait times are normal; even when it was very busy, they managed to get through fairly quickly.

09/03/2026: Terrible experience, poor seafood lunch and very expensive for the quality of the food. From the moment we sat down, we waited over an hour for our first course, spaghetti with clams, where the clams were just a mirage... spaghetti in olive oil, and paccheri with eggplant and swordfish sauce... awful, another hour's wait for two calamari and grilled vegetables. The end result: two first courses and two second courses were a two-and-a-half hour wait. Definitely avoid.

21/04/2026: Beautiful location overlooking the sea, the castle, and the Aci Trezza sea stacks. Friendly staff. Very good food, traditional dishes, and good value. Recommended.

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives in Acicastello's main square... Each one is worse than the last, boasting a charming location but lacking in service and food! I wouldn't return...and I wouldn't recommend it at all!

29/03/2026: What can I say...my daughter only eats pizza at La Capannina! Super good pizzas...I recommend booking, especially on Saturday nights, but the wait is worth it anyway. Prices are average, and the staff is very friendly.

29/03/2026: We booked a table for 9:00 PM, but they seated us at 10:30 PM, so we ate at midnight. The pizza was delicious, but the service was poor. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're traveling with children who have to wait. The tables were confusing. Failed.

Buonissimo anche il caffè, Se passate per Catania non potete fare a meno di passare di qui! Ne vale veramente la pena🤪

20/04/2026: It's been a long time since I've had such a good kebab. It's not your typical industrial kebab, but it's well-made, and they have tons of toppings. It's definitely among the best ever. We tried a pita mustafa and a piadina kebab, both well-filled and truly delicious, and we'll definitely try more. We ordered takeout after midnight in the Playa area, and they delivered in 15-20 minutes, so excellent for that too. Well done!!

14/04/2026: The food is really good, and I must say the selection of condiments and the menu is excellent. The only flaw I still don't understand is that if you order the drink, kebab, and fries menu, they don't put fries in the kebab because they already come in a tray. I'm paying more for the tray, so why wouldn't you put them in the kebab? I might as well order a drink and the kebab and get the fries on the side, so I pay less. Otherwise, everything's fine, I recommend it.
