10/06/2025: Hello, yesterday I consumed, in this bar on Via Etnea, a pistachio and toasted almond granita. Nothing to complain about the quality of the product, I found both flavors to be excellent, I would instead like to point out some things that, if improved, could change the general evaluation. The granita, which was served to me at the table, was slightly melted as well as in a rather small quantity. Considering the total cost, I think the quantity of granita inside the cup could be increased and it could be served a little more compact. Along with the granitas, however, I was able to enjoy excellent brioches and an excellent coffee.

05/06/2025: 😋PISTACHIO GRANITA TOP!!!😋 I tried the pistachio granita with brioche col tuppo (€4.50 all) and I have to say that both the quality of the pistachio and the quality of the brioche dough are really excellent. Among other things, the granita also contained some small pieces of pistachio, which flavored the palate with every spoonful. Worth repeating🤤 The bar has seating both outside, on the ground floor, and on the second floor indoors. Personally, I found the room on the second floor very peaceful and quiet, great for reading (also because it tends to be empty). I like it! I didn't expect to find such a good and quiet pistachio so easily, well done!!

31/12/2024: I entered this bar for the first time today to keep a friend company during her lunch break and I must say that I was impressed because it is very nice, the bar is nice and clean. There is also a small tobacconist corner. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind. I will be back soon to try some food.

26/05/2025: Just had an aperitif for 20 people, great location on the seafront, fresh food, very friendly, polite staff, prepared for our every need. 5 stars without any problems, I recommend it.

07/04/2025: Saturday 5/4/2025 all good, light and digestible dough being parmigiana, not even thirsty during the night so long leavening or good biga. Very good chopped and excellent idea instead of the classic bruschetta. Will return if I find more space after this review 😅.

12/04/2025: Partiamo dal presupposto che eravamo in sala 20 persone sedute, facendoci accomodare il cameriere boccando come un pesce rosso hanno avuto il coraggio di farci attendere bensì un ora per due fettine di carne mi sembra assurdo... La parte più bella fu quando il cameriere dopo aver portato la carne a tavola si esprime con tutto il suo"io" come se avessero servito un banchetto da matrimonio. Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo!!!!

30/04/2025: We were charged twice! The owner charged us before arrival and claimed we did not pay during checkout. We could prove our payment by bank statements but he didn’t accept and charged our visa card again without our knowledge or approval. He even threatened with calling the police! Food was mediocre and way overpriced! Owner was rude. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Horrible experience!

09/04/2025: Wonderful place with a view of the Aetna and the sea. Excellent cuisine. We felt welcome and comfortable.

02/06/2025: The quality of the food is not the best, I am referring to the fish dishes, the poor menu has little choice and for the price you are going to pay I strongly recommend not going to this restaurant.

15/05/2025: I think they should think about what they say! I go in the morning to see for the first time what they did in gastronomy and together with my girlfriend we book 4 arancini for the evening, (saying and specifying that it was the first time we went there) and paying €1.50 each they don't tell us that they were small and that it wasn't the hot table that they usually make in Sicily nice and big! In the evening I go to get the arancini on time?! But as soon as my turn comes and I see those tiny things, I say that I would have expected at least medium pieces but not croquettes, and the person with a lot of sarcasm who is behind the counter, answers me that they are arancini and that they do it like that! I mean, no I'm joking but they were Palermo croquettes!!!! I'm from Catania and honestly the word Arancini/o/e has a whole other meaning!! Anyway, ok, you do them like this, but at least warn the person who has never been there and who comes to order and tells you that it's the first time they've come!!!! And try to be more humble, but evidently with all the people who come there, you too have become that way or have you always been?! Ps: don't let certain grumpy people stand behind the counter, because when I said that they seemed like Palermo croquettes to me, he answered me in a way that I didn't throw the tray at him out of respect for eating!!! I only gave an example, because I'm from Catania, but there's no need to offend another city just for an example!!! And if he says that those are arancini then I think that in Catania he has only eaten at your place!!! Because ARANCINI are with a capital A and not little things!!! Have a good evening

21/03/2025: Excellent selection of high quality products, local and otherwise. The counter is beautiful, extremely well-kept and inviting. The premises have been recently renovated. The prices are in line with the varied and substantial offer. Friendly and competent staff.

28/05/2025: Large and spacious venue, with a characteristic entrance a stone's throw from Castel Ursino. Quick service and friendly staff, very short waiting times. Good offer proposed on the menu, suitable for everyone, and at a truly competitive price. I opted for the buffet appetizer (good also for the variety of choice), mixed grill (with side dish included) and dessert, all very good and very welcome. Recommended!

28/05/2025: We spontaneously chose the restaurant after our city tour, which was outside of normal business hours in the afternoon, and the restaurant was still empty. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered Norma and San Daniela pizzas, as well as spaghetti Bolognese and a meat platter (sausage, ribs, and roast meat with a side dish) because vacation is nice, but "bratwurst is bratwurst" 😄 The pizza dough was very good, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was super juicy and tender, and the spaghetti was just as delicious. The white wine paired perfectly with the pizzas. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised. We would recommend it 👍

12/01/2025: Several times with my daughters after eating out we go to this ice cream shop for dessert Staff quite helpful There are different types of ice cream or their specialties and classics The only flaw is the place because it could be kept more efficient in terms of cleaning the tables but this is also due to the customers...
