Student Lab is the right place! The place is super welcoming, with a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Perfect for both a quick lunch break and an easy evening with friends. And then the food? BOMB! Space burgers, super fresh poke and sharing platters that make you want to order another one (spoiler: you will). The staff is very kind and always with a smile, which really makes the difference. In short: 🔥 Rating: 10/10 – I will definitely be back! 🔥

The competence and friendliness of the owner and those who work there reign supreme.

22/03/2025: sono andato per prendere delle pizze. Con mia sorpresa, ho scoperto che non hanno più il forno per le pizze. Adesso fanno solo 6 tipi di pizze con le basi già precotte e sconfezionate davanti e "infornate" nel forno elettrico verticale dove cuociono anche i cornetti. La qualità della pizza era orrenda: non era "cotta" (o riscaldata) bene e si sentiva il sapore della classica base da pizza da supermercato. Terribile!

17/09/2024: Terrible experience. As for the pizzas, it was a real disaster. They were practically inedible: the dough was raw, the acidic sauce spiked with sugar, and the ingredients were of poor quality. Cooked ham that smelled, incredible. We ordered several types, but every single pizza was worse than the previous one. I feel cheated and robbed. The staff were incredibly rude, it felt like we were a nuisance to them. But above all the owner treated us with arrogance and in an absolutely disrespectful manner. Not only will I never return, but I will strongly advise against anyone from setting foot in this place. An absolute shame.

31/05/2025: A place to avoid. If they see that you are not "one of them" and that you are a tourist, they will immediately try to set up some scam to your detriment. It was me and two girls, the guy who served us only spoke to me, the two girls were absolutely not taken into consideration by him. He was playing at being nice and was a shrewd masked. He showed me the veal which is practically similar to the Florentine steak and I told him clearly that one was fine. After almost an hour of waiting, he brought us 3 steaks... We were shocked also because in a very unprofessional way he continued to deny the fact that I had only asked for one steak. We understood that he was not very intellectually gifted and also a great charlatan, but how can you think that 3 people, and especially 2 girls, eat a steak each? Finally, it should be specified that the steaks were raw, he did not even ask us what type of cooking we wanted. Luckily his manager had the 2 steaks that had not been requested taken back. A place to avoid like the plague, they shamelessly make a fortune on tourists like all places in Catania.

27/05/2025: Never eaten horse meat so good, tasty and cooked to perfection for me who am a lover of rare cooking. Spartan and genuine environment, courteous staff, absolutely not touristy. Popular prices, vegetarians abstain 😏

15/02/2025: Small place whose highlight is the pizza: among the best I've ever eaten! My favorite? Lotus flower. But I have to say that none of the ones I've tried have ever disappointed me. Known by chance, it has been our point of reference for years now. Highly recommended

06/04/2025: Neat and clean bar. Excellent breakfast and diner. The best coffee in Catania. Everyone is professional and very friendly. The bar also has nice tables and chairs and also lends itself to a business café

27/05/2025: The bakery has a good display of bread, hot food and delicatessen for sandwiches. I bought and tried only two multi-grain sandwiches, poor quality, but regardless of the food the owner is unfriendly, unhelpful and without any interest in customers. Definitely not to be recommended and not to be returned to. Their good fortune is that they are located in a place where many tourists pass by.
